First Class operation. Grounds are beautiful, and staff are all very accommodating and friendly. Love the vibe of the property. Pools are all very nice, and plenty of chairs to view the surroundings. Food & beverage were all very good.

Second stay at facility after initial 2014 visit. Longest stay yet in islands at 10 days and for an initial party of four (retirement celebration) which dropped to two the last half of the stay (wife and I), it met all our needs. From check-in to departure all staff were courteous and helpful. Be aware that this is a NON-CASH facility, utilizing either electronic pay (ApplePay for ex.) or room charge and payment with credit card. Only cash available was through an off lobby ATM or the valet stand. Rooms were clean, complimentary refrigerator wasn't always refilled but if stay was asked for something it was promptly provided. My wife even received a free champagne from management after randomly speaking with one of them. Kuddos! Mainly ate off-site but the gift shop/coffee shop was great for breakfast coffee/muffins. Only complaint was that in room coffee pots (Nespresso) were like drinking warm water (both rooms in our initial party had this same experience). Beach was wonderful and it was nice to not have to pay for umbrella/lounge setups. Enjoyed four luaus while there since they perform out near the ocean on Su-Tu-Fri (or was it Th.) nights and we just sat out on the lanai listening over and over. I've come to the realization that I don't need the touristy Kaanapali end of the island and that Wailea is just fine. Hint: if you want great sunsets you don't get them on the north end because the island of Lanai is in the way. If you stay here, try out MonkeyPod up the hill nearby, Tommy Bahama restaurant during happy hour down at the Shops of Wailea (next to Tommy Bahama clothing on upper west end). Each of these have great Mai-tai's. Lava Rock B&G in Kihei for breakfast (much cheaper) and a return to Mala Ocean Tavern for sunset dinner were nice. Mama's Fish House had great food as usual but kitchen and server were off the entire night for the first time that we've experienced (for >$600) I expect my dessert coffee and dessert to arrive at same time and for the meal bread to be provided before the entrees' are consumed. Returning to Andaz, if you book an ocean view room ask for one of the tower rooms next to the lobby so that you get direct access ocean views as opposed to the westward extension tower with limited ocean view but pool/bar views. Overall, this is our place and we anticipate future visits! Mahalo Andaz Maui!

Have been to several Andaz (Singapore, Papagayo, Mayakoba) and Andaz Maui is by far the least enjoyable in terms of room layout, breakfast, staff friendliness and communication. I guess mahalo is just a saying.

We really enjoy the stay, all the staff were very friendly, the lobby and the ambience was the best. Ibu Yunik serve us with the signature drink of Andaz, she told about all the hotel facilities pretty well and she’s very friendly at the lounge. Hope to see her again next time.

Was excited to spend a night here to celebrate my recent move to Honolulu. Booked "partial ocean view" suite and received a "full pool deck view" with no privacy and no ocean view. Anticipating a wow experience on entry to the room, the immediate impression was shock at the dilapidated condition and the bizarre/funky layout and dated/damaged/unsightly furniture. Days later, I am still in shock at the obscene value proposition of a $2200/night room with virtually no redeeming qualities. My only two positive memories of our 24-hour stay were: 1) the beautiful entryway to the lobby with view of the pools and ocean; and 2) my fantastic Peloton bike class at the small but decent hotel gym with a rainbow directly out the window. I will try to hold onto those preciously brief memories and not the horrendous waste of money at a god-awful room.

This was my fifth visit to Maui, but my first stay at the Andaz Mau. Previously stayed at the Andaz Napa which was wonderful. The Andaz Maui is even better. My wife and I had a fabulous ocean view from our 7th floor room. The grounds are immaculately maintained, the four-tier pools are amazing, and the staff are top-notch. Compared to other resorts in Wailea, the Andaz is smaller and has a boutique vibe. Easy access to restaurants and shopping throughout Wailea. And how wonderful to be able to come back to the hotel after dinner and have a drink at the Lehua Lounge that is open until 11 pm, often with live entertainment. The Andaz Maui is a splurge . . . but well worth it.

Solo traveler here. Spent 4 nights at Andaz. Booked through Amex travel after hours of comparing places on trip advisor. I had a great time. Check in was flawless. I was greeted with some lavender hibiscus lemonade. You get a bag with a reusable water bottle. Because I booked with Amex, room was upgraded from partial ocean view to full ocean view. Had a king size bed. Mattress comfort was alright. Not the best. The room has a nespresso. There are free snacks and non-alcoholic drinks in the mini fridge. Also had free breakfast each morning(free with the Amex booking). The buffet was delicious. Fresh juices, pancakes, waffles, meats (including delicious Portuguese sausage) sides that changed every day. The staff was helpful. Willing to answer any and all questions. When I asked about road to Hana on thanksgiving, she didn’t know much but asked around and came back with more info. On the day of checkout, my flight wasn’t til late. I was able to stay on property. I used the pool and watched the sunset. I sable to use showers and lockers in the bottom floor to cleanup. I didn’t sign up for any of the classes, luau or spa. I cannot comment on these amenities. My only critique is I wished the adults only pool was one of the main infinity pools. It’s tucked behind one of the towers, so it doesn’t get much sun and is therefore colder. I will say, the minute a family came to the pool, a staff member promptly told them kids weren’t allowed.

For celebrating my birthday, my family and I stayed Andaz Maui. They were welcomed me and took care of us. They gave me an upgraded room as a Globalist and the activities were so fantastic. Rooms were clean and all staff was so nice and kind. I stayed this hotel a couple of times and I will stay more, if I visit Maui again. The best hotel in Maui!!

Thank you Andaz team, for working tirelessly for us all year - planning our very special wedding, along with week-long activities for all of our guests. The wedding was a full-staff effort, and we can't say enough about how each person at the resort took care of us. From Loveal & Jenny spoiling our family in the breakfast room, to Lehua, Chase, Brooke, & Sy serving us amazing cocktails at the bar, Cynthia, Pume & Nate going above & beyond for our whole crew at the Lehua Lounge, to the events team Alexis & VIP concierge Kathleen, and Diana and the banquet staff at our actual wedding event. We even got to work directly with the chef & pastry team to design a menu for our wedding that our guests are still talking about. What a magical week it was that we will never forget! Mahalo
