I have visited this hotel on numerous occasions twice a year. We went for many years for 2 weeks end of June/July and end of September/October. The hotel has fantastic security and the Staff do go out their way to help and are very friendly. We went mainly on family holidays but also as a Couple and I even went on my own a few times as I knew the Staff and felt safe. The hotel is spotless and had a 5 year programme to upgrade it prior to Covid and the terrible fires. Every visit we would notice something new would be added and it was clear they were improving the place. The main hotel rooms are better in my opinion and they were the first to be refurbished but as of the last time I was there all rooms had not been completed. The bungalow rooms are also lovely however do need an upgrade. Entertainment is really good, colour parties, foam parties and the children’s entertainment was good in my opinion only problem was the English language wasn’t fluent which made things difficult for the children. Food wise for years it was great, the snack bar sent the day I would highly recommend as opposed to the main restaurant. Main restaurant initially was good and was just like any other all inclusive you could always find something to eat. We noticed the food going down hill rapidly especially when we went at the end of the season it was very evident they were using up what was left. Drinks were very strong not watered down but after midnight you pay. The snack bar after midnight which is when most flights get in is very disappointing. It’s soup but not once have I tasted a soup that was remotely like anything we would get at home. Even if it said chicken soup it was not very nice. So if you are on a long flight I would suggest ordering a meal as if you are using the bus as transport you could be 1 half/2 hours depending on the number of stops. I always got a private transfer after my first bus journey and we would be there in just over an hour. The choice of food is soup and bread and some left over cheese, salami and salad from dinner, that is something they should improve on even if it’s a toaster or toastie maker with cheese and ham or something like tomato and onion and I have mentioned that to management. The spa is fantastic I have osteoarthritis and fibromyalgia so I go every day for Turkish bath and different massages and by the time holiday ends I feel much better. Don’t go by the prices advertised tell them you have been given prices to go to an outside spa and they will provide transport for half the price. That is true you can go outside for Turkish bath/spa at a cheaper price but I preferred to stay in hotel and I always ended up getting a really good deal because I went so often. It was around half of the price quoted so always negotiate. The same with the hairdresser negotiate with them and you will get it cheaper. Both the spa and hairdresser are independent from the hotel and seem to change nearly every year. I wouldn’t recommend getting lashes done in the salon as I saw one woman get them done and she was screaming in agony. They obviously used the cheapest of glue and I was told by a beautician that none of them are qualified even the hairdressers. They are self taught by watching others so I wouldn’t get my hair cut or coloured either I only ever got my hair washed and blow dried and that was usually fine, however one year they had a hairdresser who wasn’t very good and my hair was left a frizzy disaster. I told him I wasn’t happy and refused to leave until he fixed it which he did. I never went back to him and usually I go 3 times a week as I have very long thick coarse hair and I love getting it done on holiday. He didn’t last long so they must have got a few complaints and had to replace him. The hotel has its own boat that is very reasonable in price and is purely for guests or Marmaris Palace and the Sister hotel Grand Turban. It is never too busy so you have a bed on the top outside and you can go downstairs in the shade where there are tables and benches. Included in the price is a meal of chicken and chips which is lovely. Alcohol and soft drinks are available to buy but I found it a relaxing trip with nobody getting drunk unlike other boat trips. It is very hilly so not ideal for people with mobility problems and the main pool there is a serious problem with wasps around September/October when they are dying off. The hotel is built within a forest so there are lots of trees around one side of the pool. It is a welcome shade in the height of summer but it is a major problem at the end of season due to the swarms of wasps dying off. In my opinion they need to address this by cutting the wasp nests down in the winter as it really is bad. Just to clarify it is definitely not bees I love bees it is wasps but not like what we have in the uk these are larger and constantly attack. I lost count over the years how many times I saw children and adults covered in stings and people taking terrible reactions and even having to use epi pens due to severe allergies. We haven’t been since Covid after around 8 years in a row as the prices were becoming too high. They were charging 5 star prices when the hotel was only 3/4 star. The food let it down and all the rooms needed refurbished before they should have changed the prices. I still think it is a great family hotel very safe for your children and staff really do their best. Main restaurant needs to up their game as they cater more for Russian/Turkish palate with the main dishes being fish in every serving. The beef/steak I can honestly say in every single visit it was so tough and chewy you couldn’t eat it. If you want a good steak you would be better to go out to a restaurant. There are a few that are good but I would suggest Waterfall restaurant in Iclemir. The steak is perfect but they have a vast menu with all different kinds of food for every palate. So I would strongly suggest if you are arriving late at night to have a meal on the flight as you will be very disappointed in what is on offer when you arrive. I would ask for the main hotel as most are modernised and WiFi is available but in bungalows no WiFi whatsoever. Spa/hairdresser negotiate prices but highly recommend the spa in particular. Get private transfer as it could save you an hour transfer. Great hotel, great staff but prices are too high and food needs to improve. I would return but only if I got a good price. I would have given 5 stars but the food lets it down.

I stayed at the hotel in mid October for 10 nights with my family and had an amazing time. This was our 2nd year visiting Grand Yazici Club Marmaris. I rate this hotel 5/5 for it’s stunning scenic views, location, selection of food and friendly staff. I would like to mention a few members that went above and beyond. Sevcan who worked in the coffee corner was lovely and helpful. She spoke very good English and advised me of the milk alternatives. Chef Mehmet remembered my family from last year and was very happy to see us. The kyi restaurant were fantastic in ensuring my brother had a memorable birthday. I would like to extend my gratitude to Guest relations manager, Ender. She was extremely helpful and ensured our stay was one we will never forget. She is a true asset to the hotel and I hope to meet again next year. We stayed in the club rooms. There was plenty of space, rooms were very clean and the location was ideal, just a short walk to the beach, pool etc but not too close to the lively entertainment. Some of my family stayed in the main building, the room was similar to mine in size but the balcony was slightly smaller. These rooms are ideal for those that have issues with walking as there is a lift. The restaurant is large. There is plenty of food choices each night for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You have to be an extremely fussy eater to struggle with this. The Kyi restaurant and pine bar also serve lunch i.e. burgers, wraps, pizza, chips, salad. The coffee corner is fantastic if you fancy fresh coffee, cake, cookies or savoury crepes. The views of the sea and mountains are like nothing like I’ve seen before. The ice cream station and pink caravan serving mocktails were a great new addition. The location is perfect. There is a footpath that runs alongside the beach if you want to take a stroll into marmaris or iclemer. A taxi is 5 mins away from iclemer and 10 mins away from marmaris. Overall we had a wonderful stay and will definitely be returning next year.

After reading all the above reviews, I'm shocked. Stayed here for a week come home with conjunctivitis Not very clean at all and flys every where. Bars very sticky and smelly .. I spent the week eatting chips food was awful. Everything seemed rushed waiter setting the tables for lunch at 11am and flys landing all over the tables not a clean cloth in site or a sweeping Bush. The coffee machines had not been cleaned in months. We went out every day. I could go on and on. The location is good and the entertainment was brilliant security on point but other than that poor food bad drinks mainly syrup. Lack of communication with staff. Some rude especially evening reception team. Very dated Came home ill and a bad back from the bed.

Returned to the UK on 28th Oct after 2 brilliant weeks! Travelled as a family of 4 (our kids are 12 & 9) & stayed in a 2 bed family room, 777, which is away from the main building but had wonderful views of the sea & mountains. As others have said, this is one of the blocks that is dated & could do with being refurbished but on the whole, was comfortable. Note to the hotel, if you are planning to refurbish these rooms, the wardrobe space is great but additional drawers for storage would be really useful as we didn’t have enough room to unpack all of our clothes for a 2 week stay. The food at the hotel is to a high standard, yes a buffet can get a little repetitive after 2 weeks, but that would be the same any hotel. We enjoyed the food, it was hot, tasty & plentiful. The Turkish al a carte was excellent but we didn’t try the others. Ice cream was available from 12-5 everyday & the vanilla is one of the creamiest I’ve ever tasted & the pistachio was equally delicious! The kids loved the bubble tea & mocktails & the coffee shop does a great ice coffee (as well as cappuccinos, lattes etc) & the patisserie offers a good range of cookies & cakes. If you don’t want a buffet lunch the Pine Bar offers a sit down lunch which is served to you (and also takeaway), the menu is pizzas, burgers, chicken schnitzel, chicken wraps etc and agin, was really tasty! The wine offered was pretty good, I had a couple of glasses of rose with dinner & it was drinkable, not a nice Pinot blush by any means but it tasted ok! We had no issues getting sunbeds and opted to spend most days on the pier at the beach because the pool areas were too shady and the pools were too cold in our opinion, the sea was much warmer! And there are so many fish, the pier is a great place for snorkelling! We were lucky enough to see turtles most days & a seal even popped up one day! Only minor consideration if you sunbathe on the pier & beach is that it is a bit of walk back to the toilets. The location of the hotel was perfect for us, in between Marmaris & Icmeler & you can walk along to either resort from the hotel along a paved & mostly flat path which follows the beach so is a really nice walk & takes about half an hour to Marmaris & slightly less to Icmeler. If walking isn’t your thing or is too far then there is a taxi rank right outside the hotel & also a bus stop. We took the bus a number of times to both Marmaris & Icmeler & it was very easy & only 25 Lira each! You can get a green or orange bus into the towns but I was told only the orange buses bring you back to the hotel, so we followed that advice & had no problems but be prepared to stand as seats are limited. The buses will pick you up from anywhere, just flag them down if you can get to the next bus stop! We also took a boat trip directly from the hotel which was a full day trip 10-5 which was only £13 each including a chicken, pasta & salad lunch. Drinks & ice creams were additional but at reasonable cost but note you can’t take your own drinks with you. It was a great trip with lots of swimming & snorkelling stops & very good value for money but if your looking for a party boat (we weren’t) then there are lots of trips available from Marmaris. We booked to go the Rhodes for a day which cost £50pp & included transfers to & from the hotel & the ferry crossing which takes about an hour from Marmaris to Rhodes - we’ll worth a visit, the Old Town is beautiful & reminded me a lot of Rome. The ferry port is right by the Old Town, a few minutes walk so no need for taxis. I can’t comment on the adult evening entertainment as we didn’t watch it but my son (12yr old) enjoyed playing darts, volleyball, basketball & football with the daytime team. There is also a tennis court. There is a pool table & table tennis table near Stone Bar which the kids loved but for some unknown reason the pool cues are packed away at 6pm & isn’t available in the evening which is a shame. There is plenty of space in various places in the hotel to add a couple more pool tables in, that would be a great addition as there isn’t much to do in the hotel in the evening. We took our own playing cards & always found a spot with table & chairs so we could play. We had a really late flight or really early depending on what way you look at it - 3am - we couldn’t keep our room on (check out is 12 noon) but we were told we were welcome to use the hotel facilities on the same all-inclusive basis until our pick up time (including having lunch & dinner, drinks etc) which I thought was excellent! The hotel stored our luggage in their secure luggage room & we packed a change of clothes & the things we needed for the day in a couple of rucksacks. We were told we could use the hotel Spa to shower which was open until 7pm & they have lockers so we left the rucksacks in a locker & spent the rest of day by the beach. The Spa showers were lovely & clean & the staff friendly & helpful - this is the ‘done’ thing to use these facilities & you are made to feel very welcome. All in all we had a great time and WOULD return to this hotel again, thank you for an enjoyable stay!

Visited for 10 nights with family and hope to return next year. Great scenic location with plenty of food choices in the main buffet restaurant and the snack bars Kiyi and Pine (which are all inclusive snack bars during lunchtime and then turn a la carte in the evenings). Allergens such as gluten are clearly stated on the the food labels and if you’re still unsure (or if in the rare case no label) there are plenty of kitchen staff around to ask. There was no issues finding sunbeds on the resort and providing no mobility issues Icmeler and Marmaris are short walks away via a walking path along the beachfront. It was clear to see that the hotel staff work extremely hard. It was my birthday during the trip and Ender in guest relations and Sevcan in the coffee corner could not do enough to make the trip a memorable one. Also a mention should be made to the waiter Halim and chef Mehmet who both always served with a smile and were very helpful during mealtimes. Around 10pm there is an entertaining show every night to watch (the kids mini disco is before this) and after the show on the Saturday we went to Palace Beach club on the resort and Batu from the animation team looked after us well.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks and flew out mid October ‘23. This hotel is well worth the money (given the price of holidays atm), we payed £750 p.p approx to fly from Manchester. The hotel is worth more than that in our opinion. There is plenty choice of food, we firmly believe it is up to you to change up what you have, otherwise it can be repetitive. We’re vegetarians and did not struggle. The desserts look amazing, but they do all taste the same. It’s a bit confusing at meal times, as to whether you are served drinks or get these yourself. We found that some tables were being served, but then we wasn’t actively asked. The public areas are very clean and restocked. The workers are constantly cleaning, to a point I didn’t even find a piece of toilet roll on the floor. The same can’t be said for the room maid (who stole a cigarette also). The room clean was non existent, some days she did not come, sometimes she only change the towels and when she did clean, she never wiped the sink area/ shower area or balcony and the floor was never moped (this is the reason I’ve given 4 on trip advisor and not 5). Throughout our whole stay she never once gave us toilet roll. I’m sure if we asked reception this would have been sorted, but we turned it into a betting game, whether we would get any each day. There are ample areas to sit during the day, made up in different sections, so it feels like you are in a different hotel sometimes. We did not struggle for a Sun lounger, we went to the main pier and you find that people start to reserve the beds with towels between 0800-0830 (I don’t know if it’s different mid season). There is a sea turtle that kept making a show and it’s good for anyone who enjoys snorkelling. We didn’t go to the pool area, as it’s very shaded. There is a seafront path that’s leads all the way into Marmaris or Icmeler. There are also electric scooters to rent, if you download the app. I found that the service at the hotel wasn’t the best/ most friendly, however; Mehmat Kan who worked the beach pier was brilliant, offering drinks to people. It’s not expected but it is appreciated. Gives you a nicer experience. We went to the fish restaurant just for the drink. The staff were rude and judgemental, looking my friend up and down just because she wasn’t dress like a typical female (she had linens and a shirt on). When we asked if it was okay to just have a drink, the waiter shrugged at us.. we would have walked out but there isn’t anywhere else we wanted to go that’s close and the setting there is lovely. I’d be gutted to spend a lot of money here to be treated like that. We were in room 782 (bungalows to the left as you view the hotel from the sea). The music from the neighbouring hotel was loud, but we put earplugs in and slept fine. The club at night at the hotel is far too loud, so anyone in the main hotel must struggle to sleep. We exchanged money at the hotel, the rate was slightly less then a bar in Icmeler, but only slightly. There is a spa area at the hotel, it’s free to use the turisk bath, steam room and sauna. This area also has showers and a hair dryer/ plugs to get ready on your day of departure. We would come back to this hotel, but there are improvements which are only small. If you are happy to sort yourself with drinks etc then it’s definitely worth a book. If you expect to be waited on, then this hotel isn’t for you.
