On arrival to this hotel, which I have stayed in many many times since 1995, checked and normal then was asked for €50 deposit found that strange because they stop taking deposits off people anyway was happy because I keep my room clean and tidy. My daughter tried to plug the fridge in and got an electric shock, when I showed this to the manager, the fridge was not even in a socket it was on the wires onto a circuit board. Can you tell me the fridge would have to be replaced and I would have to pay now I’ve been on electrician for 35 to 40 years, so I repaired it myself and I showed them that it was working when I was checking House he said your fridge is broken. I took him and showed him the fridge plugged in and working. He said it’s dangerous I said but it was like that when I moved in, I have to pictures to prove this, he said sorry, we are keeping your deposit discourse into a very heated row so I decided to give up I will never use this hotel again. The place has gone right the way down it is full of asylum seekers et cetera which I don’t have a problem with, but I will never use this hotel again.

We stayed here for 4 nights . The hotel itself is outdated to be honest but I'm not sure if it was due to being end of season. Things like the trees ans bushes desperately needed cutting.
The positives we had from this was the lovely receptionist. She could not do enough for us. We had a few issues which she quickly sorted and made sure we were OK. The lady is a short black hair lady (cannot remember her name).
The cleaners came in every day and made put beds and added fresh towels.
Bugibba itself was not the best. Far too much traffic as most of the bars are roadside so you breathe in loads of car fumes but some bars are set back.

My boyfriend and I stayed in this hotel from 9 to 15 August.
Central location and close to all bus stops.
Bugibba neighborhood not the best, surrounded by abandoned buildings and hotels.
Breakfast is only available in English, Italian breakfast was not available.
As for the fairly large rooms, for cleaning, one day they tidied up the dirty towels instead of giving us clean ones, but yesterday they came to clean the room at 5pm, it seems a little out of place to me.
The beds only had a sheet on the mattress and no mattress cover, so in the end you slept on the mattress.
The swimming pool is quite nice, except that in the afternoon it gets dirty and you can't even see the bottom.
Very welcoming staff.. it was still a pleasant holiday

It's a 2 or 3 star hotel l get it, but we booked months back only to get there and the key to the Main door is not working. It was at night and they couldn't do anything, we just had to wait for the morning and they then fixed it. So l think there is a Lack of good Organisation there that needs to be improved. We just got the keys and no one told us about facilities to use there etc. The hotel also needs improvement on the hygienic aspect as it was not clear when the hotel service comes and we had to ask. For the price tht one pays and Service a bit not upto Standard, it doesn't go together

Well we had read the reviews on here and I can safely say, take them with a pinch of salt.

We arrived mid afternoon on Friday, and we were met my a very helpful receptionist. Checkin was quick and efficient, and I was surprised by the size of the room. We were given a family room on the 1st floor.

The hotel seemed empty and we did have a choice of dishes for breakfast and dinner. There was always plenty to eat at the meals and the staff did not mind you having seconds! Been out of season the hotel seemed to be in the middle of its annual maintenance period and lots of the rooms were obviously been worked on. In fact the room we had looked if it had just been freshly painted.

For a base to have an explore "Malta Weekend" it was ideal. There is a mini market opposite and a cash point on site. Also the Hop on Hop off bus tours pick up from the corner at the back of the hotel, there is also a bus stop about 150 meters, which has a regular service to Valletta also to the ferry to Gozo, and Siliema.

Awful experience at this hotel. Although the staff were friendly and helpful the actual hotel is in desperate need of maintenance and cleaning. We arrived at midnight as a family of 5 and checked into a 2 bed apartment. The patio doors wouldn't lock, so we moved to a second apartment which had mould growing everywhere (ceiling, beds, pillows, pictures). Unable to offer us another apartment we were shown into a 4 bed hotel room which although dusty (and had a bathroom window rusted open) had no damp or mould. As it was now 2am and wanted to get the 3 kids to bed we piled into the room for some sleep and hopefully get things sorted in the morning. The buffet breakfast was well presented however all the cereals were stale. We ate the cooked breakfast which was OK. We checked out that morning and into another hotel!

After arriving at Stansted Airport and having too wait 35 minutes on board before take off, then arriving in Malta and having too wait nearly an hour for my hotel transfer I eventually arrived just before midnight at the hotel I was greeted by Lesley who was very friendly, polite and assisted me with my check in, after finding my hotel room which was a family room for one, very clean all round including shower/bathroom.
Tuesday morning I woke, went too the restaurant for breakfast too find my friend waiting for me, it was two years since we last saw each other on holiday.
Karen and Charlot, Bar Manageress and Chef catered very well for me as being a coeliac, they got me some gluten free beers in and Charlot cooked some amazing gluten free meals for me, nothing was too much trouble for them.
Gertrude is the Hotel Manger, I was made too feel at home by her and the rest of the staff members, Lesley, Hesham, Nico, Maryanne, Nabin, Khanal, Angelico, nothing was too much trouble for them.

Swimming pool was very clean and the surroundings areas, plenty of sun beds too be had.

Wishing you all the best for this summer season and hope too see you in 2023. Always in my thoughts and heart. Love and hugs too you all. Kathy

Myself and my husband stayed here 30th Dec till 3rd Jan and never again. We had booked double room and we put in twin room, beds where like they had just been shot together, nowhere to hang clothes except 3 hooks on wall, no tea coffee making facilities, room was freezing it was tiled floors so that didn't help, shower cold, room door not very secure, room was outside the lift so very noisy, woken early every morning by maids knocking on door to clean rooms. Only went in restaurant twice as food was horrible and we are not fussy eaters and as we where all inclusive ended up eating out, we had arranged to go to Valetta for NYE but for those that stayed in hotel there was no entertainment at all and what was met to be a Gala dinner consisted of Christmas crackers to make it this. Nobody we spoke to had a good word about there stay. Alot of staff where rude especially young lad who served in bar, would only give one drink at a time and it stated that in bar you would get drinks in glasses they they where served in plastic cups and if you asked for a glass you where told no. Seating in there was filthy. Our rep was called Jacqueline and wanted us to leave the hotel 4 hours before our flight the Airport was only 30 mins away and we had paid for private transfer. What was suppose to be a nice few days away for new year was spoilt. Hotel needs a good renovation or closing down, nothing like it described that's why all pics on website are old.

My partner and I found this hotel to be very poor, the first room we had the door didn't lock and it was best described as an army type room, three single beds in a row, which quite frankly were just like a piece of wood with legs half way down the wood, as if they had been hand made and it smelt. We also asked for an upgrade as I was lead to believe I had paid for self catering and the first room didn't have any self catering facilities, this cost us another 120 euro. We were then moved to another room which did lock thank goodness but it wasn't very clean, the microwave had mould in it, the window in the bathroom wouldn't close properly and the handle was very stiff. There was a hole in the balcony window, where they put the aircon pipe through, the aircon was not required as it wasn't that hot, therefore cold air was blowing in. My partner mentioned it to the duty manager and said he would tape a plastic bag over the hole, because it was cold, the duty manager said I will give you some sellotape, why couldn't they sort it out. We asked if the heating could be turned on as the room was not warm at all, even with the plastic over the hole in the window, there was a radiator in the room but the heating wasn't on. We were given a fan heater which was better than nothing I suppose, but it took the air out of the room. This hotel needs a complete overhaul, very tired, the best part about the hotel was the reception for cleanliness, but I am not sure that someone should go around spraying air freshener whilst guests are sat around, it was very smelly and quite frankly not required, this happened yesterday (New Years Eve) whilst we were waiting for our taxi to the airport, we had to go outside because of the air freshener smell, far too much, took your breath away. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful, however there was one receptionist (who unfortunately I don't recall her name) was very rude and abrupt, no doubt due to all the complaints they must get. Whilst at reception another guest was complaining that he had ants in his room, thankfully we didn't. The hotel bar is very dated and needs a good clean. A few guests mentioned to us that the food for all inclusive was not good, I am just glad we were not all inclusive, think I would have cried.

We did not find anything that great near the hotel, to be honest around the area of the hotel the streets were disgusting, we even saw a dead cat on the road which had clearly been there for some months, rats and cockroaches and lots of bags of rubbish around the place.

I would say though that the bus service in Malta is great, you can just hop on and off and its really cheap.

I would not go back to Malta as I have been twice and on both occasions I have been disappointed.

Hotel has normal A/C only in the lobby, corridors and rooms are extrimely hot- we were there in July - it was over 30 degree inside. Breakfasts were quite poor but with possibility to take something to drink.
Hotel takes 50 euro deposit what is quite poor practise, considering very old furnitures in the rooms.
A plus: pool and small garden around pool and comfortable beds.

I honestly don't know about gluten free options sorry, but there was a good selection of food, maybe ask hotel directly. As for pool side drinking, i didn't see any bar opened daytime anyway or people drinking, but when i was there, there wasn't anyone really at the pool as the weather wasn't great, but i'd say if i wanted i could've sipped my own drink at the pool, the bar Molly Malones attached to the hotel was open all day and most drinks were 2e. I suppose it really depends on what time of the year you are going
