Downsides were the beds were uncomfortable, also very loud at night time especially as our balcony backs onto the Main Street with pubs full of loud people. Staff were quite unfriendly.
Room was pretty large. No charms or cute decoration but functionnal room. AC works well and bathroom is correct.
I didn't try breakfast or swimming pool (which looked like a joke)
The lady at the front desk at day time did her best to be nice and was kind enough to print my boarding passes.
One thing I appreciate is that I asked a room on the back because I already knew the street was noisy. So I had a quiet room on the back of the hôtel. And indeed, even on the backyard I could hear in the distance the techno music of some night bars around. So I can only imagine how noisy it must be when you have a room with view on the street...probably impossible to sleep.
Overall I have mixed feelings...
Just make sure you can have a calm room before making a reservation.
Room was only cleaned properly once during our stay and bedsheets were only changed 2 days before we checked out. This was despite putting the please clean my room sign out at various times throughout the holiday. In fact it was a day when we had no sign on our door that the room was cleaned and bedsheets changed.
Beds and pillows were not comfortable for me.
Balcony was small. 2 plastic chairs and a little stool was all there was space for. The air con unit on the balcony and the heat it blew out meant it wasn't pleasant to sit out in.
We had a room facing the street. It was constant noise from pubs, music, people until around 2am and the cars was constant. Its on a very busy road.
The glass doors and curtain provide no soundproofing from outside at all.
Roof top terrace. Views are lovely however it has clearly been left to go to ruin. There is a hotel getting built next door. I am not sure if this is the reason they have neglected the terrace. Pool was not clean. I understand debris from the building next door but it was black all the way around it. Sun loungers have cement (I think) stains all over them and they mostly all broken. It's a shame they have neglected the area. A little bit of cleaning and some decent sun loungers would have made this space amazing.
I wouldn't stay here again due to the noise and the fact I didn't find the beds comfortable.
They advertise a bar, this is a couple of chairs in reception. They sell most spirits, beer wine and juice at reasonable prices.
Location is good and near all amenities.
If noise, a dirty pool and a hard bed don't bother you then book. If they do look somewhere else.
Now the down side of this hotel which is why it’s only got a three star rating. The noise from the corridor with banging doors is constant, the walls are very thin to the point I could hear the person in the next room pee & flush the chain. There was noise from all directions through the night which was a shame as it wasn’t as relaxing as hoped for. We personally wouldn’t stay here again or recommend due to the noise only

Rooms clean and modern Some quirkes like having to buy adapter for kettle (2E) provide own coffee, tea and sugar.
Staff very friendly and helpful especially Maria in the the small breakfast area, shes a gem
Like most of Malta streets noisy, dusty ,dirty and busy.
Pity that roof terrace wasnt open as I booked because of pool .
Firstly, the staff were on the whole fantastic. Shoutout to the pool maintenance guy who had good bants and provided nice fresh water to the pool.
Terrace, as previously described, is “shabby”, but I think due to this fact we actually had an essentially private pool for the whole week so we can’t complain. The deck chairs were functional despite containing holes and some of the backs being broken. Could benefit from parasols.
Receptionists were largely very friendly . Thanks to the one that pointed out the obvious, that I needed to lick the stamp to make it stick. And to the one that dealt with us checking in half asleep at 3am.
During our stay, we had multiple first aid concerns. Am incident on the “bird” scooter led to a knee scrape, but alas the relax inn were there with surgical spirit to save the day.
only the next day, my friend developed an ingrown pubic hair which she had attempted to self remove with tweezers (ouch), and once again the surgical sprint came in handy.
The room itself was nice. Beds are creaky af so bring ear plugs. And eye masks if you don’t want to get woken up at 6am sunrise. Balcony is ok, and air con worked well.
Cleaners were good and did execellent job of cleaning room.
Area itself is ok. Not that scenic but some decent restaurants- Bugies is a fav
Beaches are rocky so bring crocs if you don’t want to obtain deadly foot injuries.
