Detailed Reviews
We stayed for one week, the room (18) was quiet small for this length of time.
The shower tray let water on the floor and also there was a leak from the pipe going into the cistern on the toilet.
The room was serviced daily and overall the everything was clean.
For the price we paid it was good value.

Myself and my husband needed a base whilst we looked for permanent accommodation. Lovely family run hotel in the heart of Bugibba. Nice clean, and a lovely breakfast. The family were very helpful whenever we needed assistance. If you want a reasonably priced base then this is the place for you .

Normally use hotels when visiting Malta. Thought we would try this guest house. There is a phrase, you get what you pay for. This was relatively cheap. Tiny bathroom with no shelving for toiletries. Open hanging space for clothes, one shelf for other clothing. Beds were comfortable though.
Ideal for a solo traveller would be my assessment.

Simply calling yourself a “boutique” is not enough to offer good value for money.
The room I inherited is very small.
Above all, it has no hot water. I took a cold shower.
The possibility of using a hairdryer exists, but you had to give a prior deposit to have it in the room. Ignoring this, as well as the fact that there was no hot water, I didn't put anything down.
I caught a cold and got sick.
And I was relieved of 75 euros.
Not reimbursed by health insurance.

In this hotel you will find nice rooms, it is at convenient location, staff is very helpful and there is a good restaurant/bar on the ground floor. Price is more than favourable. We met nice people there, had a great time, will come back again.

Another great visit to the Buccaneers. Myself and my family had a wonderful holiday and we loved staying at this hotel. It’s clean and very friendly. The food is great and very well priced, as is the drink. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place, especially if you are travelling alone as not only are the owners and staff very friendly and accommodating, the other guests are too.

The room was a good size for just myself would also work well for 2 people. The bathroom was small but again worked well, only down side was the sink was tiny. It had a fridge, tv and kettle which i was very happy about. Also a lift which was great for luggage. All staff were very friendly and helpful. There is an upstairs terrace with pool which was amazing to chill out. The location was great there was plenty of food and shops around and a short walk to the sea. Will definitely return.

Fantastic week spent at buccaneer. Nothing was too much trouble for this wonderful family. Food was amazing and very reasonably priced. Excellent location, just a 5min stroll to be in the heart of bugibba. I would highly recommend this boutique guest house to families, couples and groups of friends.

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. It is really convenient to walk to the front from there. The owners are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. We had 2 issues with our room and they were sorted out really quick.
The only thing we were not keen on was the food. I know there are lots of fabulous reviews, but we were not keen on the breakfast or an evening meal we had. It is just our own opinion, but that is why I marked it down. Its a shame really, but the curry my partner had was more like a rissotto.

Comfortable beds, daily cleaning of the rooms. Ideal to go with the family. We have been 4 and it was phenomenal. The staff very friendly and attentive. And it has a restaurant with good prices. Very well located. The only bad thing is that the room faces the main street, there is a lot of traffic.
