Lovely people, very helpful. Very cheap which is reflected in the poor quality mattresses and pillows which smelt stale. Food basic but ok. Good location, just a few minutes from the sea front. You have to pay extra if you want your room cleaned, also if you want a kettle and tea making facilities in your room. TV only had one English speaking channel even though guide said a few, but we only got scrambled signal. Fridge and safe in the room. Balcony although on a noisy road. Water in pipes loud and flowing all night. Water hot and good pressure. No toiletries apart from 2 small bars of soap. No frills but you get what you pay for and it was cheap.

Perfect hotel. Considering it was one of the cheapest hotels around when I booked it was great. Breakfast buffet with bacon, eggs, beans, bread with toppings, coffee, juice, Youghurt and cereal. 10 minutes walk to Buggibba square. Plenty of restaurants. Very friendly staff. Balcony overlooking the city. Only minus was well a little hard beds

I my partner thought really worse .. we had a room on the 5th floor “the number 501” no sea view but it doesn’t matter;
Despite all the negative reviews read: the bathroom ok little BUT NOT DIRTY,
Always warm or cold water and therefore no problem!☺️
The room was redone every day of our week!
The breakfast ok that was always that but I Recommendation for those who do not want to spend too much and choose to live the holiday going to local beaches and eat well!🥰
The staff is always friendly and courteous!

Where to start ?
The rooms are dirty, very dated, the air conditioning makes an unbearable noise, no pressure in the bathroom
There are 5 centimeters of space under the front door, practical for cockroaches, we can hear everything in the next room.
The cleaning lady comes either at 8 a.m. in the hopes of being recalled and not doing the cleaning or at 5 p.m. when you return from your day.. she allows us to take our empty bottles (you should know that they are returnable on the island so it's our money)
in the evening when I went to bed I saw blood and I don't really know what on the sheets at midnight... forced to have them changed by the reception staff who had nothing to do with it, poor thing..
Cockroaches everywhere.. be careful not to bring any in your suitcases
Paid remote control
Paid fridge
Very very noisy air conditioning
Very hard spring bed
Duvet without cover so given the “clean” state of the sheets I don’t even touch them!
“Games room” Oh right? Where ?
The location well we can't remove it
The swimming pool on the roof is also good, too bad it closes a little early

While the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the hotel had a great location, the negatives of this hotel overshadow any positives.

The good:
Location.
Quiet, but bear in mind our room did not oversee the buddy street. It overlooked a wall decorated by several aircondition units.
The A/C in the room was functioning well.

The bad:
Old,run down hotel.
Only one small elevator.
You have to pay a deposit for using their safe.
Usage of the refrigerator cost as well. It's locked upon arrival and you'll be given a key upon request, if you pay a fee.
To use the tv,you also have to pay a deposit,in case you misuse it or lose it.
The same bland, semi cold English breakfast.
The mosquitoes! Remember to use a repellent. They had a feast during our stay.

The ugly:
Uncomfortable old beds. You could feel the springs. Although the staff changed my bed due to the aforementioned, it was still too soft and springy, but that's a personal preference,I guess.
Sparse bathroom with barely any storage spaces. While using the shower (in the bath tub) the water leaked through the tiles and you risked slipping when getting out,if you were not careful.
Not enough coat hooks.
The pool on the 6th floor was small, had algae on the bottom of it and didn't look very clean. The tiles around the pool were cracked.

I would not recommend this hotel.
I wasn't expecting anything fancy and didn't need it as such, as my goal was diving for a week and using the hotel only for resting, but this went below any expectations.

Don't stay here, worse hotel we've ever stayed in, bathroom was never cleaned, had to ask for bed change after 7 nights ,we booked for 11 ,had no hand towels ,just bathtowels that we're tatty, left us 1 towel for 3 days unchanged for 2 persons. Had to ask for toilet paper .Breakfast very repetitive, was accused of taking bread from restaurant cos I covered 3 slices with serviette, (flies) yet other guests were making sandwiches 6-8 slices of bread at a time. We never went for breakfast again as we were humiliated & disgusted. Bed sheets moth ridden ,no mattress cover, 1 flat pillow each, €12 to use fridge already in room, belongings from previous guest in draw & wardrobe, glass all around hotel never cleaned ,finger marks everywhere. domestic staff do not know how to clean need training, rooftop pool ,what can I say awful filthy area, wouldn't use it, disgusting remnants of a toilet brush in corner of bathroom ,

Stayed at the Coral hotel for eight days, wanted budget accommodation but was pleasantly surprised. Our room was everything we wanted, clean and tidy, sheets and towels were changed regularly and the bathroom and shower was good. We booked breakfast in advance for a very small fee and once again we’re very pleased with the fare on offer. From English breakfast, eggs, bacon etc to help yourself, cold meats, cheese etc, also as much fruit juice, tea and coffee as required.

Last but not least the staff were friendly polite and helpful and very hard working, especially Theodora who went from managing reception, restaurant and any other queries, with a smile.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Coral Hotel in Malta, and I can say without hesitation that my experience was very positive. The hotel not only offered excellent service but also a fantastic location and a very good price, which made my stay memorable.

Firstly, I would like to highlight the receptionist Joyel, who really made my stay extra special. From the moment I entered the hotel lobby, I was greeted by Joyel's warm and friendly reception. He was incredibly helpful and gave me all the information I needed in a very professional and yet personal way. His commitment to ensuring all guests feel welcome and comfortable was really obvious and made a big impression on me. Very happy with my stay here.

Have stayed in most hotels in Bugibba and Qawra but this was our first visit to The Coral Hotel. We had a great stay , rooms cleaned daily by chatty staff and rooms were a good size. Food was always warm with plenty of choice Márió on reception was very friendly and his impersonations of Norman Wisdom and Ketamine Kev kept everyone amused. Lovely stay.

On arrival we were welcomed in by a cheerful member of staff who booked us in & showed us to our spacious room on the 5th floor.
The next day we had breakfast in the lovely restaurant which set us up for the day in a nice relaxed atmosphere.
All the staff were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them.
We would definitely stop there again.

As there is not a lot of choice of food anyway, I would not think so. We ate out nearly all the time we were there.
