We spent 3 nights in this beautiful, charming and lovely place but wanted to stay much more! The owners were so kind with us, the food was so delicious (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and our big and luxury room was perfect for our family! We immediately felt the quality of the construction and of the materials in the room as well as the quality of the products and food which was served. This was quite expensive but brought us a lot of pleasure and was justified by what was offered. We will come back!

The magic location together with the friendly staff creates a unique experience. The swimming pool with its beautiful view is the perfect place to relax after a day visiting the surroundings. The staff was always ready and willing to fulfill our wishes. Highly recommended!

We stayed in San Sanino with our very active three-year old son for 6 nights in August 2020. Not surprised with all great reviews. This place really deserves this. The location is fabulous and intimate, still close enough to Pienza and Montepulciano, but far away from crowds and tourists, up on a small hill overlooking a charming Tuscan scenery. It is run by the family who are very welcoming, helpful and friendly. There are only four small villas – we stayed in two of them – both rooms were nice, extremally clean and with spacious bathrooms. All villas have some space outside to sit down in the evening and relax with a glass of wine. The second one had a small garden. The property is really good maintained, clean with a nice pool to cool down during hot Tuscan days and the garden is full of all fragrant herbs. Our son had enough space to run around the property. What was a true highlight of this stay, was the great food prepared by Laura. Best food we had during our trip. All prepared from fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Breakfast is served outside, choice is really good and you can always ask for something else you like. Choice of wines is very good, they are carefully selected from local wineries and stores – and are truly of high standard. It was our fourth time in Tuscany, and definitely we will be returning to San Sanino again, we had wonderful time. …

This was a fabulous place to stay, impressing us from before our arrival to well afterwards. They gave great directions to find their villa and helped with every detail. Giacomo and his lovely family made us feel _immediately_ at home. He made reservations at great restaurants and gave us great tips on where to go (and where not to). The room was beautiful. The food was fabulous and the service was outstanding. Learning to cook traditional Tuscan meals from Laura was a real treat - well worth it. Giacomo will take great care of you -- just be prepared to want to come back immediately! The scenery is spectacular too: the view from every room is simply gorgeous. Contact Giacomo with any special requests: he set up amazing day trips for us including grape harvesting and olive oil pressing. Honestly, we cannot wait to return.…

Out trip to Tuscany was meant to enjoy Montelpuciano's and Montalcino's scenery, wines and food. Villa San Sanino is perfectly located to do this. Bianca, Giacomo, Laura and Umberto were all welcoming and involved in our comfort every day. The buildings, rooms and grounds are all fabulous, showing the passion that this family has for creating a top notch experience for customers. Thanks so much for a wonderful stay.
