Sleazy, squalid, dirty, embarrassing place. Located far from everything, yet close to the penultimate subway station. My friend and I booked this "hotel" for the price for two nights. However, we highly suggest to spend more for any other solution. The staff has no sense of caring at both human and place level: barely welcomed, with no explanation, the front office guy was speaking at his phone with a friend the all time. We entered the room: besides the cigar smell, the blankets were dirty, full of hair and with a PIECE OF POO under the pillow! We asked the (creepy) cleaning lady for clean blankets and pillow cases: she said "only when you leave", so we asked to change them by ourselves! We left and came back at night and my friend was feeling sick, so we asked for a tea. They said NO because 1) the bar is close, 2) there is no boiler 3) then we have to do it for everyone (It was 2 am!). So NO TEA. We had no breakfast yet. The second night we came back, there was another guy, very gentle, who made the tea without asking anything and the boiler was magically there! so no coherence at all! Then we had the "breakfast": all packaged, no-choice, medicine-like juice in a creepy room full of flags and with a flashy noisy white neon light. Coffee is the only drinkable thing. SHOWER: the plastic door has not been cleaned probably since the last year. Not possible to have a shower without the hair because of irregular pressure due to layers of limestone, yet, at least, is hot. Dirty, dusty and full of hair everywhere, on radiators, furnitures, floor. LOCK: seems to have been broken several times with a crowbar… Unfortunately, we did not read the (terrible) reviews before booking. It seems they really don't care at all about customers.

The Hotel Bristol is recommended if you are traveling by train as it is directly across the road from Milano Centrale Station. Our room had a modern bathroom (including bidet), new air-conditioning and oil leaking. The staff were very friendly, the breakfast adequate and the hotel is close to many quality Italian restaurants.

It was so bad that I couldnt sleep the whole night . The room is pathetic , dirty and dispicable. Mosquitoes and ants in the rooms and in the main reception. Breakfast is pathetic and dirty. They cant even provide a proper fan to the guests let alone any aircon. No facility for drinking water . Just a very very horrible experience of booking this place . Avoid at all cost.

Horrible place 🤮 Made the most regrettable decision of booking it mistaking it for the Hotel Bristol near the Milano Centrale! Was travelling with elderly parents & so wanted to book some place which was less of a walk. This one is not only far but extra urban which costs way more to travel to. They claim to be 2 stars but should not even be allowed to operate due to not only the disregard but absolute absence of customer safety & security! Exposed wires ⚠️, hot liquids served in flimsy plastic cups, dust bins with no lids attracting all sorts of bugs & insects!!☢ From the common breakfast are to the hotel rooms, there is filth & dirt everywhere. Cobwebs, dirty drinking cups, mouldy showerheads, old & rusted taps, mucky plugholes, sink outside the toilet in the triple room we were given with no mats if you spill water while washing your hands, which you are bound to as the towel rail is inside the toilet, creating a slip & trip hazard. Only hand towels were provided, one soap & a sachet of shampoo to be shared among 3 occupants! One table fan again for 3, hence had to open the window, only to be covered in mosquito bites, scratching all night 🤢😵 I could really go on & on, plus you would ask why did I not mention all this to the staff. The answer would be firstly none of the staff speak proper English but that would still be alright were they not be extremely rude & totally impudent to the point of unwelcoming with a take it or leave it attitude!!! Experienced this first hand when spoke to the owner William about my predicament that it would be a long walk for my parents to local transport links, & he could show some consideration & refund some of our money if we stayed just the 1 night instead of 3. He could have just said no but started banging on how cheap his hotel was, that 15 minutes was not far to walk for almost 70 year olds & kept shouting in Italian, literally bringing me to tears. I found from other guests that they too thought this was the Hotel Bristol near the station so would again just mention please don't make that mistake & even if you do have to stay in Sesto Rondo, avoid this like the plague!!🚫☣❌❎

Hotel Bristol is pretty decent for the price you pay. People at the desk were helpful, the room is quite okay. There is no air con but there is a fan. We found a bit of mold in the shower, some stains on the sheets and some cosmetic wear on the walls and door. However considering the low price we paid for the room (about $40aud a night, which is less than most hostels) I think these criticisms are quibbles compared to what is really quite a good deal. It is very close to a metro station and restaurants. The shower had excellent pressure with hot water. Our room even had a balcony. Recommended for budget conscious travellers.
