Reception staff was very nice and helpful. Rooms were basically my college dorm. Very basic. No tv in rooms, no restaurant on site, although breakfast buffet was adequate. Wifi was spotty. Ask for mountain view as you cannot really see the water due to buildings.

This is a hotel that seems to have converted college dorms into rooms. Absolutely basic with no TV or other amenities in the room. We were on vacation and staying at really nice hotels and lovely small family owned places. This was quite a step down

This is a modern hotel near the middle of town - you cant miss it as it is quite orange! The hotel is modern. Our room was good with all mod cons. Staff wer very helpful and friendly. We had breakfast there and is was typical of the breakfasts we had all over Iceland - it was fine. It is an easy wask into town. I would return here.

This hotel will do for our one night stay, but the room is very stark and reminiscent of a dorm room from university. No TV, no trash can in the room, and the bathroom is no larger than a closet, with the entire bathroom serving the purpose of a shower (which is very typical for Europe, I suppose). I can hear noises from other rooms next to me and above me. I can currently hear the man next door peeing in the toilet, as it seems his bathroom is next to my bed. This hotel was booked through our tour (Guide to Iceland), and will do for the one night, but I would not stay here again if I was making the reservations.

This is a hostel/school like accomodation used as a hotel during the summer months as a 2 star hotel. The rooms are basic but clean. Don’t expect and you’ll be suprised... I slept very well at night and breakfast was decent.
