Guests frequently commend the New Orleans Marriott Warehouse Arts District for its exceptional service, with staff members providing professional, friendly, and attentive assistance. The hotel's cleanliness is also a highlight, showcasing spotless rooms and well-maintained common areas, despite isolated housekeeping concerns. Situated within easy reach of local attractions, the hotel's location earns high marks.
However, some visitors have expressed dissatisfaction with the value, pointing to unexpected fees. The atmosphere and amenities generally receive praise, although comments about room temperature, lighting, and an unheated pool suggest room for improvement.

Detailed Reviews
We stayed recently for 4 nights on our anniversary and the hotel was so amazing. Their occupancy felt very low as they go through a transition but I know word will get out about this wonderful hotel and team. Felt new from top to bottom. I used the gym every morning to run and it extremely comfortable with an awesome view of the city. Only complaint was one morning a lady walked in to walk and talked on the phone really loud during her entire workout. C'mon have some self-awareness. The bar and team were amazing. We had dinner their one night and watched the hockey game. Along with the enjoyable food and drinks, the company of Tony and Joshua made it unforgettable. They were super nice local natives, sharing stories of Katrina and the changes of the hotel. Those guys helped us to really learn about the city and it was so nice to chat. The rooms were brand new with soft beds, modern showers, and spacious. Our city/bridge view was so perfect! The hotel was close to local restaurants, the Riverwalk, Howlin' wolf and local bars (including Ernst café with $1-$3 beers). The front desk staff were all very nice and quickly accommodating to little things we asked for during the stay like coffee, towels, wifi and even an umbrella to walk down for lunch on our last day. Only 15-20 minutes from the major NO stops and easy to grab a Lyft to get everywhere although we also walked a few times. Such an amazing stay and we will definitely return!

My first visit to New Orleans, LA was extremely pleasant and I cannot wait to return. My stay at the New Orleans Marriott Warehouse Arts District was perfection from check-in to checkout. At check in, I was greeted by Brittany, who was very kind and patient. She even escorted me to the elevators and greeted me every time she saw me move about the hotel. I was made privy to a little customer service competition between Brittany and JoJo, one of the bartenders (or better yet a mixologist) at The M Club Restaurant. All I can say is that Brittany and JoJo brought “all of the smoke (which is a good thing),” when it came to providing excellent service (I must give JoJo extra credit because his custom cocktail, the CoCo JoJo, was the most delicious drink I’ve ever tasted! The housekeeping staff and the bell people were extremely polite and helpful. Especially, Mike, who helped me get some beads and ensured I was okay any time he saw me enter or exit the hotel. Even the person who helped me during checkout (I forget his name but he was from Long Beach, CA) was super pleasant. The room temperature was easy to adjust and the beds were comfortable. The location was perfect for the conference I attended at the convention center but was still close enough to other attractions (walking distance for quite a few). The Riverwalk View of the sunrise was absolutely beautiful and started the day off right. When I return (because I will), I will stay at the New Orleans Marriott Warehouse Arts District because I remember how the team treated me and how they made me feel. I highly recommend without reservation.

New Orleans is a city I frequently visit. Stayed at almost all marriott properties in town, this hotel really tops others. First of all, the service, Omar and others at the front desk really take care of their guests, especially elite members. We arrived 7/31, right after a convention, the hotel has few guests. Breakfast was shutting down, Bar was closed until 3p, and the M Club is not open at all. It's Covid time. But they offered Platinum elite members breakfast at the hotel Starbucks, evening snacks at the hotel bar and water upon request. They did their best.
The hotel is across street from Riverwalk shopping mall, we walked along the river to Jackson Square. It's a nice half hour walk. The room was well maintained. The suite is large. The pool is decent size and it was open. Compare to many other hotels in the area, this hotel seems newer, cleaner and quieter. BTW the beignets and hot wings at the bar are excellent. And the lady at the bar, she just started her job, dont know her name, but she's so helpful and sweet.
Marriott Warehouse District is a good place to stay for business and vacation. I strongly recommand.

The hotel has a 3 star rating, as I was attending a conference. The hotel check in was a breeze, but the eye rolling at checkout was irritating. Starbucks at the hotel should stay open longer than 1 pm, some of us would like some coffee well after 1p. The restaurant needs more workers, I had a burger and fries the burger sat out for over 30 minutes, I saw it on a table. The server brought the cold burger and fries I had them re-heat it yuck. The Restaurant manage apoligized which I fully apperciate that. The Chicken Gumbo was tasty. The blueberry lemon drop was also very good. There should be a shuttle, as some attending the conference could not walk very hard. Uber took care of that, but still bummed out on that. The M club cost 50 dollars a day per room, for people attending a conference it should have been lowered to 30 just to let the conference goers feel like we were wanted.
I had a room mate and check out was a bit odd, I am not sure if the worker was new or just overwhelmed, however, when checking a guest out please watch the eyerolling, we get it you were frustrated, however you still need to be courteous.

Our terrible experience started the day before we arrived. We had booked a suite, and I called the front desk (not the global reservation number) to ask for a connecting room. The front desk said I would have to give up the suite to get a connecting room, which I agreed to.
On the night of arrival, there was no one at the front desk, and we waited for around 5-10 minutes before someone came out to help us. The lady confirmed that our suite was gone, but that we had a connecting room.
When we got to our room, it turns out it was not connecting at all, but instead two rooms side by side. I called down to tell them this, and the front desk lady lied saying that she had said the room was side by side, not connecting. When I asked to be put back into the 1 bed suite, she again lied saying that all suites were gone. Only after I found an available suite on my Marriott app did the front desk finally agree to return me to the suite I had originally booked. But this was after she lied again saying that any available suites were booked for future guests that had not yet arrived. When I said surely as a platinum elite member I had priority, she claimed that all of these future gusts were Ambassador status. When I said I found that hard to believe, a suite magically became available. She then told us to wait where we were and a bellman would come up and take us to our new room. After 10 minutes of waiting, I went down, only to find that she hadn’t sent a bellman up at all.
When we finally got to our room, it was on the 14th floor, and definitely a floor to avoid. The room had an odd odor, and it looked like it had not been cleaned recently. The room service menu was appalling. The WiFi did not work, nor did the on-demand movies, nor the TV internet/streaming services. When we called down, the front desk initially didn’t believe me, and said “no one else has complained about this”. She finally sent an engineer up, who spent 30 mins trying to fix the issues to no avail, and said they would have to re-look at it in the morning, by which time we were leaving anyway.
By the morning, we realized that the bathroom sink did not have hot water, although thankfully the shower did have hot water! Also, the bedroom phone had stopped working.
The only good thing about this hotel experience was the M Club Lounge which was small, but at least decent, and the engineer who tried to fix the WiFi/on demand/streaming service was very nice.
All in all, a terrible experience, and a Marriott hotel we will try to avoid at all costs in the future. When I asked the front desk lady to inform the hotel manager, she claimed there was no manager on duty. I said this was an appalling service especially given I am a Titanium elite member. None of that seemed to matter to her.

Wonderful experience at the Marriott Warehouse Arts District! In many past visits to New Orleans, I almost always stayed in Marriott’s French Quarter properties but wanted to try somewhere new for this trip. Immediately upon arrival, the hotel staff were extremely courteous and helpful. I arrived later than planned and had an event to attend less than thirty minutes after my arrival. The hotel had already provided me with an early check-in, and Freshawne’ at the front desk got me checked in and arranged for my luggage to be taken to my room in under five minutes. I was able to quickly catch an Uber and make it to the event on time and returned to my large and clean room with a Mississippi Bridge view with my luggage arranged for me. Though my stay was short, the hotel staff (and especially Freshawne’) were delightful and always helpful. If you are looking for a quieter accommodation, this hotel is a great choice. Unlike my French Quarter stays, this hotel was extremely quiet and had far less street congestion and foot traffic. The French Quarter is only a short walk or an ever shorter ride away, and there are many excellent sights and restaurants in the immediate area of the hotel. Highly recommend!

The Marriott New Orleans Warehouse Arts District is a great property! The staff are big on customer engagement and friendly. The M-Club staff does a great job of keeping the M-Club clean and they are very punctual with the times for breakfast, dinner, and dessert. For those of us that travel a lot for work having a reliable lounge routine is a welcome bonus! The rooms are nice as well. I was on the 15th floor during this stay and you never know about hot water timing on the upper floors (sometimes it takes a while to get from the boiler room up!), but that was not an issue. Kayla P. and Adam at the front desk and Ms. Lisa in the M-Club did a great job of taking care of every need I had during my stay!
Bottom line, this place is a great option in New Orleans. Will repeat!

We were in New Orleans to visit The World War II Museum - a definite must-see for history buffs. The location of this Marriott, directly across from the convention center and cruise ship terminal, made the medium-length walk to and from the museum an easy one. Many restaurants are also walkable from The Marriott in the Warehouse District; the staff provides a list of some of them. My favorite aspect of this hotel is that the floors in the rooms are all very clean, as there is no carpet!

The Marriott has a parking fee the parking all cars.
I have traveled around the world and have been to New Orleans multiple times. With all due respect, you don't need a river view if you're staying in this hotel. You're there to be close to the convention center or casino, and dont want to park in the French Quarter (it's a medium walk to there).
Yes. Right around the corner, however, we preferred walking to the big Walgreens in the French Quarter. Better selection and prices. Laundry soap for free hotel washing machine, diapers, Tylenol. etc
No shuttle that I am aware of. We took a taxi. The fare to the hotel was $43 with tip. On way back to airport, we took an Uber. Much cheaper at $34 with tip.
