The Eliza Jane, part of the Unbound Collection by Hyatt, is located just two blocks from the French Quarter, three blocks from the Warehouse Arts District and a short 10-minute drive from the Garden District. This 196-room boutique hotel is built within nine historic warehouses that stand distinct on the outside, but have been united inside to create sizable accommodations and unique spaces. Inspired by the historic past of the buildings, the hotel's stylish interior design references each of its original occupants: The Daily Picayune newspaper, as well as Gulf Baking Soda company, Peters Cartridge shop, and Peychaud Bitters factory. The hotel’s accommodations and amenities include fifty suites, including twelve Signature Suites, a fitness center, garden courtyard and a locally-inspired lobby bar, The Press Room.

We dined at Couvant and it was lovely. Our server Shiquita was so friendly, helpful and made our dinner even more enjoyable. The appetizers were fabulous as was the entree. I will certainly dine here again!

Hotel's Favorite
We stayed here for almost a week while on vacation. Its location is perfect for those who want to be close to (we walked to most of places we visited) but not in the middle of the action of New Orleans. We were able to request a quiet room, and the way the hotel is designed, what that gave us is a room down a very small "hallway" with access to only two rooms. Although it's the slow season, we never had an issue with noise from the bar or any other patrons. The entire hotel - lobby, bar area, outdoor patio area, and rooms - are just gorgeous. We stayed in an oversized room with a King bed, which was perfect in being there several days. We had 2 floor to ceiling windows overlooking Magazine Street. Housekeeping dropped by every day to offer their services and more towels, coffee, etc. Every staff member was friendly, seemed happy to be there, and were a joy to be around. Everything in our room and otherwise is very clean and well maintained. I haven't been this happy with a hotel stay in a very long time!

We stayed at The Eliza Jane in 2019 and fell i movie with the hostel. We saw the restaurant, Couvant, however didn’t have the chance to try it out. Came back in 2023 and made sure to stay at the EJ again! This time, got the chance to eat at Couvant, sat at the bar and Jackson was at the helm. He did not disappoint, and made incredible drinks, great conversation, and wonderful food recommendations. The Steak frites (med rare) was one of the best steak dishes I’ve had! Much respect to the kitchen, I would have licked the plate if socially acceptable. If you’re in New Orleans , take a step away from the French quarter literally a short walk) and eat a fantastic meal at Couvant and ask for Jackson

Great visit to the Eliza Jane, while they are a Hyatt they have styled it with the New Orleans heritage in mind. The rooms are comfortable and the staff were kind. The valets were very helpful and attentive. I would recommend it for anyone wanting a nice hotel near the French quarter

When I stayed at the Eliza Jane this week I had an incredibly warm and welcoming experience. Philip and Alex C at the bar made my experience so special!! I was sitting by myself a couple days, eating my breakfast, but I felt so at home with these two around. Thank you for employing such kind and thoughtful humans!!!

Coming back to the Eliza Jane after a long day at meetings, to a cozy bar, delicious food, and a clean peaceful room was amazing. My glass of wine in by the fountain in the humid night was magical. I hope to visit again!

We spent 5 nights in this hotel. Our arrival night was on separate reservation. The next 4 nights were on a different Amex reservation. We arrived at 8PM on a Thursday night. The agent at the reception desk was not very friendly. She would not link our reservations nor upgrade our room. We were entitled to an upgrade via status and the Amex Hotel Collection. Her excuse was the hotel was sold out. The hotel was never sold out for that weekend. I checked Hyatt's website every day. The next day, we went to reception, to check out and check-in. Our first room was a very tiny king room. We could not spend 5 nights in this room. Our room was changed the next day. It was much bigger, but it had NO window. The benefit of no window is, no street noise. The room was very nice otherwise. The bed was comfortable. The A/C worked well, especially important in New Orleans. The hotel overall, was very clean. The Eliza jane is a quirky property, it is housed in old renovated warehouses. The public areas are attractive, with a nice bar and restaurant. The restaurant, Couvant, has very good food, and we had a very good server named Devin, every day for breakfast. The bar, the Press Room has great drinks and a very knowledgeable bar tender, Neil. Neil is a great mixologist! Overall, we had a good stay, once the room situation was resolved. The hotel is 3 blocks from the French Quarter. We decided that next time in NOLA, we want to be in the French Quarter.

I popped into Couvant for a quick meal before heading to the airport. When I showed up solo, the petite hostess was so bubbly and cute, and really made me feel welcomed, even coming up and inviting me to put my backpack in the seat next to me instead of at my feet. The decor is fun, the place was impeccably clean, with what you might call understated elegance. I sat at the bar, and Phillip, the bartender, was my server. He was adorable, with a genuine and warm smile and energetic attitude. He made recommendations in a way that made me excited to try a couple of things. I find that servers often look uncomfortable when you ask them for recommendations. Not Phillip, in the few short minutes we chatted he convinced me that he loved the food. I can’t recall the name of the little puff pastries with mournay sauce, but they were so flavorful, light, and well-textured. I also ordered the Avocado Toast, which isn’t normally my thing. But, this toast was perfect, the poached eggs were hot, firm but delicate, with small pieces of picked onion and the radish slices. I should’ve taken a picture- it was visually stunning, and perfectly punchy. And their avocado was so flavorful and well-blended. This was by far the best meal I had this weekend, and I also dined at some traditional big-names places. I highly recommend this restaurant. I can’t wait to try a lunch or dinner menu on my next visit - I’ll probably try the hotel next time, since the staff was so cheerful and accommodating,
