We had an amazing time staying here at Loews. The staff were all so friendly and the location was awesome. Definitely would highly recommend checking out this hotel when visiting New Orleans. It's super walkable to the Boardwalk and French Quarters.

Ms PJ Ohlan was truly exceptional! She called in advance to confirm our room. When we advised we would be arriving close to 11pm or midnight, she said Ryan would be at the front desk that evening but she would be there in the morning when we checked out. The bellhop on duty was so helpful and efficient with valet parking, luggage, etc. Ryan was incredibly kind and welcoming at the front desk. We were made to feel like true VIPs and valued guests. When we arrived to the room, PJ had left a welcome note and some awesome goodies! Again, every detail was so much appreciated and truly sets LOEWS hotel apart from any other 5-star hotel! Of course, the room was spotless and beds and bedding were like sleeping on a cloud! Although our stay was short, it was so memorable, luxuriously comfortable, and just perfect in every way! Without a doubt, we will look forward to being back soon and staying at LOEWS again! Loews sets the bar high and their accommodations and customer service is the best of the best!

I recently took my girlfriend to New Orleans to celebrate her last chemotherapy treatment and recovery from cancer. I've been to New Orleans many times, but it was her first visit. The Loews is by far my favorite place to stay in the city, mostly because the service is impeccable and the staff truly treats you like family. The location is also great...a little removed from the craziness of the French Quarter, but also within walking distance of most places you will want to visit in the city. If you love music, be sure to find Officer Huey in the lobby....He'll talk music all day and steer you to all the best venues/shows during your stay, no matter what type of music you enjoy. He is a true music aficionado, and his knowledge of the history of the city and culture is truly impressive. My girlfriend, despite her illness, had an amazing time and now wants to return in April for Jazz Fest! We can't wait to return to this wonderful city and staying at the Loews again.

I was expectimg a solid 4 stsr hotel along the lines of a Hyatt, Hilton, etc. That's not what this place is at all. The rooms are fine (I had 2 connecting rooms) but more basic than I expected. No wow factor at all, just an ok basic room. I will say that the rooms I had were huge so that was a plus. Room furnishimgs needed replacement with lots of scuff marks on the furniture and stains on the couch. Bathroom was a good size with separate shower and tub. But again just an ok basic bathroom. Its also unbelievable that in New Orleans in May/June the hotel does not provide complimentsry water for guests. If I stay at many 2 star hotels I recieve free water but here they force you to pay $5 or $7 (depending om size) for a bottle of Fiji water at the front desk. Not acceptsble. I would not stay here again in the future with the many hotel options near the french quarter.

For the price we paid one would expect to have water pressure, cool air, and not a stickie carpet we also had to call to the service desk daily for one thing or another. Worst place we have stayed on our travels. We were told that there would be a concierge. There was not one. When arriving at the hotel there was an additional 576.00 deposit required. I was told when booking with that hotel that the only other charge would be my dogs. Will not recommend or stay there again. Again for the price i expected more.

So I booked two rooms at Lowe’s as a treat for my father-in-law and as a result the location was relative to its proximity to the Harrahs Casino as he likes to have a gamble and I didn’t want him walking the streets of NOLA late at night. For the afore mentioned reason alone it was fit for purpose. It’s across the street to the Casino. The staff have been extremely friendly and polite. Check In was swift and went down without too much of a hitch. Traveling during COVID meant that the rooms were not serviced and guest were left with the opportunity of asking for whatever they needed, which is obviously totally acceptable. I can’t tell you whether that was indicated to potential bookers during booking process but I had no issue with it, as safety of guests and staff is always priority. The disappointment lies within the rooms themselves. The bathroom had hairs in the bath and on the door which didn’t belong to either myself or my partner. The bedroom had leak stains on the ceiling. The leatherette bench at the end of the bed was worn enough to see the fabric underneath. There were soap streaks down the shower tiles which again did not belong to our party. The shower curtain had no lining was covered in black mildew. It’s definitely not a hotel I’d rebook, which is unfortunate as it has potential.

I visited New Orleans 3/28-3/31. I had a king room with city view. I booked it through a website for less than $100 per night. I got there from airport via Lyft. The hotel is in good location. The bar only open during weekend. I stayed on 15th floor. I used indoor hot tube during my stay. It also has decent size pool and fitness center. No daily cleaning service due to Covid (you can ask for extra towels/soap via text.) The location was quiet. Overall it was a good stay. There is one thing I need to let everyone know. Upon check in the hotel will put on a hold for the cost on the room PLUS incidental spending ($75.00 per day) When you check out, the hotel will just charge you the cost of the room and cancel out your incidental spending money (unless you touch mini bar in your room)extra charge of incidental spending money is not advertised anywhere. Additionally,It may take few days before the incidental money goes back to your account. Just keep in mind make sure you have sufficient funding for your stay.

The Hotel itself was nice. We chose to stay there because it was "dog friendly" and offered all these supposed amenities such as: room service for pets, dog beds and bowls. Area for walking dogs and parks for play. Reality: no room service for pets or humans, no pet bed or bowls and no one knew anything about ever offering such items. No place to walk your dog except a small patch of bushes in the median between busy streets...those parks so brilliantly discussed? Well they don't allow pets! Further, the hotel offered No mini bar, no breakfast except on the weekends. They did have a Terrible evening meal menu with "gluten free cauliflower crust pizza" but no real pizza. They didn't even offer coffee for guests. Even Motel 6 offers coffee with cream in the lobby. There were no coffee shops attached. The staff would direct you to Harrahs for coffee or to the DoubleTree. Let that sink in! They would send you for coffee to other hotels because they couldn't be bothered to offer their guests coffee! The final kick was the $52. And change for overnight parking that they taxed you on!! After 4 days, I could have had another night with the fees! The staff was friendly and welcoming. They were the saving grace of the hotel! They were clearly overwhelmed as they needed more staff, yet they never ceased to be friendly and accommodating. I think they were all doing the best they could under the circumstances. It was just a shame nothing else was as described. It was a bit underwhelming to say the least.

Good value for a quick overnight stop and full nights rest. The hotel was very clean. Pillows and blankets very soft which the family liked a lot. Good water pressure. Location is easy proximity to explore tourist spots without being on the busy loud main drags. We took a 10 min petty cab bike ride to bourbon and walked all the way down and over to Frenchman.

Chose a room with View of the river which was nice, the kids felt “fancy”. Only parking available is valet, but our dually truck was not accepted so we had to park overnight in the lot next door $40.
Housekeeping knocked on our door at 9am on a Saturday which was annoying so do put on the do not disturb sign. AC was working well and strong but my husband said he noticed feeling stuffy from the vents.
