We were happy to return to this Hampton after a Covid year away - and so pleased to find the same friendly staff, everything in working order, clean rooms and exceptional service! Kudos to the front desk staff - one evening I accidentally went for a glass of water in the lobby without my mask on -- and the nice young lady politely asked, "Do you have a mask with you?" Even without daily room cleaning, this is still the most convenient, well run hotel in town!

Visiting our two granddaughters who live in apartments that are adjacent to the University of Wisconsin campus. Location was ideal for a short walk to meet with them, see what Madison has to offer, and the many restaurants.

The Hampton Inn in Madison, WI is our hotel of choice when visiting our son who is a student at UW. The room layout is perfect for our family. We enjoy the location and the large lounge area in the lobby for relaxing. The complimentary breakfast is very convenient and we also enjoy the attached Bassett Street Brunch restaurant that is attached to the hotel. The food is amazing!

Room was very clean. They have hotel parking that you don’t have to pay for which is nice since it’s in the middle of downtown. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was great! They had bacon I never see bacon at hotels. Hotel is close to many restaurants and bars. So great location. We will definitely be coming here again
