Very close place to the City. Rooms are bigger than other budget hotels. Out side is not cleaned properly very dusty entrance. Staff are very polite and curtesy to the guests. They were provided breakfast and foods are very delicious. Location is very closed to the city and noisy environment.
The property is very much close to the city. We stayed one night in sapu's mountain breez. In the property, everything are excellent. Including bed, bathroom, wifi, satellite tv, breakfast. Hostess very friendly. He is a good care-taker.
I stayed one night in a “Deluxe Double Room”. Location was good, on a quiet back street above the police station, an easy 5 minute walk to the city center. The room was clean and comfortable with a nice hardwood floor and plenty of natural light. Bed was comfortable, but I by 2AM I was wishing I had a second blanket. There was also a clothes rack, table, and small TV (didn't turn it on, no idea about content). Bathroom was wet style with a western toilet (no paper provided). There was a water heater but the water was barely warm, not warm enough to brave a shower on a cold rainy night. Free breakfast was ok - juice, tea, fruit, toast with jam, pancake, and french fries. All staff were friendly and greeted me each time I appeared. All in all, nothing fancy but a good night sleep for a reasonable price. …
This hotel is located in the heart of Nuwara Eliya and walking distance to down town. The restaurants and shopping centers are also close by the hotel. The hotel itself is located in a quiet neighborhood. You may want to watch out for stray dogs which are harmless. The manager at the hotel is a very friendly and personable individual who will bent backwards to make your stay a comfortable one. The rooms are specious and the beds are comfortable to have a good night sleep. The hotel name may be misleading as it is not located anywhere close to the mountain. However, the price, close proximity to down town and restaurants should be the overriding factors when considering this hotel.
Helpful and Welcoming hosts but rooms were small and cramped. The description of mountain views misleading as ours looked out onto the back of a concrete wall. It is a quiet and relaxing place to stay in if you are not looking for extra frills. No breakfast is served but there are plenty of places to eat in the centre of town which is not far.
