Unfortunately I have to say that, apart from Sameera and the other young man who helped out, I was disappointed in this accommodation. The staff were on hand all the time and went out of their way to be of assistance. I had the deluxe room, which was large, but quite dark, brown and uninviting in colour scheme, and cold at night (there was a heater but that didn’t warm the room sufficiently). To me, it had a student-like feel, with old-looking rugs on the floor. The biggest disappointment for me was the bathroom. It is clean and bright with a gorgeous bathtub, but unfortunately th windows didn’t fit properly and so it was rather cold at night. Clever marketing photography made me assume that the bathtub had an uninterrupted view of a wide expanse of tea fields, when in reality it looked out onto a corner of a tea field with some derelict buildings and over the villa entrance - so lounging in the bath enjoying the view was out of the question as anyone outside the villa could see straight in! The water ran alternately hot and icy cold so it took a while for the bathtub to fill as I had to keep turning the tap off and running water in the basin when the cold water was running in order to get a tub of hot water. The breakfast was OK. The downstairs room (which was Rs 4000 / night cheaper than the deluxe) is probably the nicest room in the villa in my opinion.

We picked this as one of our honeymoon stays and we stayed in the Attic room for two days. It was such a relaxing time. They offered breakfast. There weren't choices but food was good. Also it's close to the town. Staff was friendly and very helpful.

It was another unforgettable stay right after the COVID19 pandemic. The host Deepthi was very friendly and helped us as much as possible. They had one of the best stringhoopers I have had so far in Nuwaraeliya, fluffy and flavoursome sambol. The attic room is enough for two. The bathtub is awesome and they had hot water. Would like to recommend this place specially for a couple.

This is one of our favourite stay during our 12-day Sri Lanka trip where we stayed 2 nights here. Love the tasteful interior design of this place surrounded with greens of tea plantation. It comprises of two double-storey bungalows with small flower garden outside the bungalow. Cosy living room with comfy sofa, decorated with chandelier, glass window with natural daylight and magazines/ books for guests to read. Open dining room and kitchen for breakfast; comfy room with beautiful decors, table lamp, chandelier, basic toiletries, coffee/ tea, etc. Toothbrush is provided upon request. Free flow of tea during the stay. Huge balcony with benches to relax and enjoy the greenery of the tea plantation. Bicycle rental and tour service to Horton Plains available. Walking distance to Gregory Lake (30 mins). There is a fusion Indian restaurant (20 mins walk) with sumptuous food named Indian Summer Restaurant. Staff were friendly and helpful, even arranged take away breakfast for us due to our early morning trekking to Horton Plains. Hassle free check-in and check-out process with hot tea for welcome drinks. Good basic breakfast and we were given Ceylon tea as gift upon check-out. Memorable stay and highly recommended for anyone into accommodation with peaceful homey stay feeling.
