We stayed there for 2 nights. The staff and the place were nice. Clean rooms, can order food from food delivery service without a corkage fee. Stayed there before COVID and they had jacuzzis, haven't checked if they still do. Very accessible. You can see a private hospital from the 2nd-floor window, I don't think this is a very common factor tourists would consider when traveling but that gave me extra assurance. Day-use cottages are also available but they have a corkage fee. The bar is right beside the pool, and half of the barstools are in the water.

Price is good room is big the swimming pool is good for kids . The food is not good if you want to eat is better eating on restaurant outside the hotel in the corner closed to sm shopping centre. It’s not the best but is ok for what you pay . If you don’t like busy place don’t choose it beacuse life music just on

It was our third time visiting this place. Our recent visit was quite disappointing. In fact, my colleagues decided to have our party here since we are expecting to enjoy. However, it was opposite for all we are looking forward to happen. We left our bags in just a few minutes and when we went back, our cash and phones was all gone. We asked for assistance from their security but they don't have any efforts to help.
We asked to checked the CCTV but unfortunately our table was not covered. We are quiet upset since we don't feel any sympathy of what happened but seems like blaming us instead. Seriously ? wlay gamit inyung Security ! You don't have any procedure on how to solve cases like that. I hate that rude guy from construction who talked to us. No manners at all ! Please put CCTV in all areas for security purposes.

Our family just wanted to have fun this weekend. What better way than to bring the whole family (adults including seniors and kids) nearby that has swimming pool/s, cottages or cabana for day trippers and rooms for those who wanted to stay overnight.
Westown Lagoon Resort certainly fitted our needs. What with 3 resort-type swimming pools (2 kiddie pools and a 4-ft pool for taller kids and adults).
Before coming in, we went thru the rigorous resort processes (check-in, meaning paying P350 per person for day trippers). With our group list, each person was called by the attendant to have a stamp (apparently proof of legit admission) on our forearm before entering the pool premises as checked by the resort guard.
To make our pool experience story short, halfway thru the fun, some kid pooped on the pool (the dragon pool) 💩💩💩 and my nephew and niece were victims and I mean truly traumatic for them😫
Whatever happened to Cebu or Philippine swimming pool regulations and healthy/safety standards? There were a lot of kids and adults on that pool that time (it was saturday after all). The pool attendants were just so nonchalant as if this was not new to them (not that I blame them tho). They just declared to close that pool and that’s it.
Kids are kids for crying out loud! Let them wear WATERPROOF SWIM DIAPERS. Of course, we all know pools are not clean, but don’t make it too obvious. Untoward incidence like this can easily be prevented. Don’t ruin our fun.

We’re finally back to the Philippines after years of waiting duo to Covid. It’s been 4 long years of waiting. We usually go to Westown Lagoon to go swimming cus we liked the place.

But what has happened? It’s now in total decay, nothing works like it supposed to, not even the toilets and showers are maintained. Lights in the pool are loose, paving stones are not even, big cracks here and there. And the restaurant has always been terrible… And it’s not any better now.

It’s obvious that the owner has no interest in maintaining this place and is only interested in trying to squeeze out the last pesos he can.

Don’t go here! You will only be disappointed!

taff were ok. When we first arrived we were too early so we went shopping. The staff helped us carry our shopping from the car and saw we had bought alcohol. We were then told we would need to pay extra to bring in alcohol and the staff searched our shopping without asking as I was talking to reception. Corkage fees should be added on the website.

House keeping were attentive and fantastic.

The room was average as to be expected for the price. The "kitchenette" only had a kettle and we washed our cups and had to keep going to get more cups and plates ect.

The pool bar had a very limited amount of drinks. The absolute vodka didn't taste the same as in Australia. Kind of like metho.

We got 2 massage therapists to come to our room to give myself and my partner a massage as we have 2 kids and thought it was easier. The hotel charged 280 pesos each massage therapist after 20 minutes despite them not using any facilities of the resort nor does the resort have their own spa.

My children and I developed a rash over our whole bodies from a day in the pool. We saw a Dr and she explained that the water isn't the same as Australia and isn't as clean. We thought the pool would be safe.

Overall. Average.

Never again to this place. Too strict with their policy yet too expensive rates. Not worth it! Visitors are only allowed 20mins even its already beyond 11pm and they already close their swimming pool. Like seriously, what can you do with your family member in 20 mins? Room is good for 4 but they just have ONE (1) King size BED. BULLSHIITTT!!! How could they accommodate rooms for 4 is the bed is only KING SIZE??? we add another bed worth PHP1,500. Room and Balcony has lot of mosquitoes. Calling the front desk but no one answer. I went over to their reception just to give my complain. Only to found out that the staff are talking and laughing each other. WIFI is not good. You need to ask the voucher code for several times. OVER PRICING! Bottled water cost PHP 50. I would certainly not recommend this place. Never again CEBU Westown Lagoon!

Their online booking is very misleading and wrong information. I booked a Family Suite (PA) which describes as * Pool Access, * 1 Queen Size Bed * 2 Single Bed * 2 Baths and * 1 mini Kitchen. The receptionist insisted that the family suite I got was on the 3RD FLOOR and they had NO ELEVATOR. They also asked me to pay the full PHP15,600 as they said I haven't made any payment yet when the online booking was made. That was the opposite of what was said on the confirmation email saying that the amount to be paid at the property was PHP7,800.
I asked for a manager to help verify the reservation. The receptionist looked at each other. One smirked while the other one just replied, "that's what really happens when you book online". They didn't give me a manager. My family was tired from the trip and we didn't know much of other places to go that may be vacant or can accommodate us by the time we get there.

Our feet were black with dirt because their floors are not clean. We found out dirty streaks of mop marks. Looked like it was not cleaned for days or they might have used the same dirty water from the other rooms they also cleaned. Towels are limited to the number of guests for the room, stiff and rough. It smelled like it was recently used then air-dried. They ask for additional fee for towels too!

I paid extra for an additional guest and they didn't even give me an extra bed, not even a rollover. These place is a RIP OFF! And with the price I paid, didn't even include breakfast.

The place is so crowded with day users using the pool. You wont be able to use it not til night time when they are gone by 9PM. We noticed in the morning, the pool had dirty bubbles and GREASE residue on the corners!

Water slides smelled like pee. And is not safe for kids!

Wifi is horrible! works for an hour and kicks you out. We had to keep asking reception for a code which didn't work.

We checked out and asked for a paper to leave comments and suggestions and they said they ran out. They didn't even give at least a blank paper where I can write on.

I highly recommend STAYING AWAY from this hotel if you are big on safety, hygiene, and good service. Their hotel staff are rude, and they are not at all bothered to show it. I just learned after the stay too that this hotel has had several complaints from other local customers because they are unsanitary.
This hotel is a big fat joke! Don't waste your money on them!
