Dear Sharon Margaret Lee Thank you for taking the time to give feedback on Club Bali Family Suites @ Legian Beach' TripAdvisor page which I have read with great concern and have been investigating with the team with regards to your comments. Some parts of your comments concern us a lot and I must say that I am truly sorry to hear that you feel your experience was not an enjoyable one as the vast majority of our guest's experiences. I can assure you that it took lots of our time to investigate. Having said that, your comments contained therein were not entirely right and this should have been fairly mentioned in your review for the benefits of our readers. We are very concerned about the safety and security aspects of our guests and in this case, we have fulfilled the requirements and conditions requested regarding these two aspects. In fact, we routinely inspect all the equipment in all our guest rooms including safety and security equipment which proven by records. The fact is that there was no record of faults or problems during the first week (7 nights) of your stay at Club Bali Family Suites @ Legian Beach until suddenly on January 8, 2019 early morning around 1.30 AM, our Front Desk Staff received a call from your room regarding the smell of gas in the room. And according to the procedures that we have implemented at the resort, at the time of the incident, the staff on duty had immediately rushed to coordinate with the relevant parties at the resort including the security and the manager on duty. It was noted that the kettle in your room was found to be still in hot conditions (an indication that it was recently used). They immediately rushed to your room to check and carry out procedures to ensure safe conditions including the other rooms and areas and then call a professional and certified doctor to handle various emergency situations to check your health condition. In this case, the medical examination results that we received from the Doctor based on the Medical Certificate given to us afterward was there was no mention of butane gas poisoning; And according to the Doctor, if there was a symptom of poisoning then there should be a similar symptom happening to both of you, but the fact was not. There was the only recommendation for your husband to rest and drink plenty of water and a mention that the Doctor has given some necessary medical treatment. It should be noted in this case that the Doctor also noted the existence of a patient's medical history of previous illnesses of the patient (your husband) which I could not mention here for the benefits of the patient (your husband). It was also noted by our Front Desk that you husband has seemed unwell when the first time arrived at the resort. In the morning when I received the report from the staff on duty, I immediately took the initiative to check into your room but at that time you had left the room for breakfast. It also should be noted that when you and your husband passed through the Front Desk in that morning, the FO Supervisor who is in charge, Dewi, asking about the current condition of your husband and there was mentioned he was fine. Not long time after you returned from having breakfast at the restaurant outside the resort and getting back to your room, we received a phone call from your room asking for the Doctor and without waiting any longer we immediately called the Doctor. At that time, we were trying to meet you and to see the condition of your husband on the first hand but you forbade us from entering. Within this case, we tried to understand your situation. The medical examination by the Doctor that we received after was related to stomach problems but the cause was still not known with certainty. We then waited for you in the downstairs at the front desk until you came. When I first met you, I have said for the first time that we were really concerned about the incident and were still investigating it more deeply and would do any necessary matters to help. At that time I myself personally had offered any assistance I can do to help you and I even said that I was always at the resort whenever needed. Until the next day morning, I met you again when you collected pool towels at the Front Desk, I kept asking about your condition and particularly your husband. You mentioned that he had recovered and only needed to rest so there was no need to meet him. And the next day, I tried to meet you again and eventually we met at the Lobby. At that time, you showed an intention to extend for 1 more night and I personally offered you an extension of stay on complimentary as part of a sense of our empathy for the problem you experienced. I have also mentioned to you that we had fully covered all the medical expenses needed. I also kept asking about your husband's condition and you kept mentioning that he was fine and just need to rest. I stayed at the office until late at night waiting if there was any help needed but I did not hear from you and neither request to meet to discuss any matters until the next day I was required to attend a reserved event outside the resort which took a full day. However, I still coordinated with the Manager On Duty (which at that time the Front Office Manager) and I have asked her to represent me if there are any necessary matters and obviously, she could act on behalf of the higher management if I was not around the resort. She also already explained this to you and at that time we waited for you but you did not come up until you left with the driver you have ordered yourself. I trust the above clarify and our readers can get to know the real situation. Here, we all take great pride in our guest overall experience. I can assure you that all of your points in your review are duly noted and I have been reviewing your feedback with our teams. Please rest assured that I have taken your feedback to heart and that we are continually making improvements both to our property and guest experiences to ensure that this aim is fulfilled to over and above our guests wants and needs. I would sincerely hope that we may be able to regain your trust in the future and welcome you back to Club Bali Family Suites @ Legian Beach again to enjoy the high level of service that our many visitors have come to love. It must be noted at this time, we have not been able to find a record of your stay with us at Club Bali Family Suites @ Legian Beach. Also, as we went through with our Guest History Log Book that we use to record our guest problems and concerns during their stay, we did not find any record of the report from any room which addressed all the problems as mentioned in your review. We always endeavor to advise our guests at the earliest opportunity should there be any interruption to our facilities and services to ensure that any inconvenience is kept to a minimum and our 24-hour Guest Service Associates/Guest Relation Officers at the resort would be glad to assist. As you may aware, Club Bali Family Suites @ Legian Beach is located on the same grounds as The Jayakarta Bali Beach Resort, Residence & Spa complex in Legian Beach, however it is independently owned, developed, and managed by Club Bali Hotels & Resorts, not part of Jayakarta Bali Hotel. All of our guests have the full access to the extensive range of facilities in the complex including the swimming pools, restaurants, bars, spa & wellness center, tennis court, kids club, kids playground, kids pool, and other recreational facilities. There are also several units in the complex that belong to and managed by individual owners that provide similar access to their guests. Here, we all take great pride in our guest overall experience. We always appreciate and value all of constructive feedback as a valuable reference as we strive to continuously improve the quality of our facilities and services to make our guests stay more enjoyable and memorable. Here, we also work very closely. I only stayed at the hotel and loved it. Not sure about shuttle service, however taxi's and drivers are very cheap and right outside hotel and at times with in grounds of hotel. There are shops and markets all around within walking distance. There are streets and streets of shopping, just go out the gate and turn either left or right. Lots of shopping. Club Bali suites is in the complex of Jayarkata hotel - the front of Jayarkata is across the road from the beach. So only a few minutes walk from Club Bali through to beach. Some deals have breakfast included some don't. You can purchase breakfast package from Club Bali....note: breakfast would be eaten at Jayarkata Hotel. You also use the pools (there are 3) at Jayarkata and can eat at any of their restaurants. They have a lovely day spa but buy your package from Club Bali. Club Bali Suites is a quiet and very friendly hotel. I hope this helps you

Hi, the club Bali suites are within the grounds of the Jayakarta. This property is on the beach, great location. We wanted a kitchenette in our suite with table fridge etc so this is why we went with club Bali & not with jayakarta. You can utilize breakfast at jayakarta however we went to Swiss Berlin short walk, cheaper & nicer bfast $6.50 aud full breakfast per person as opposed to double at jayakarta

Do you have kids club?
No there wasn't, jayakarta is the main hotel with pools and playgrounds. Only 200 Mtrs away.
