We spent one night following a concert at Fed Ex Field - Excellent stay! Just 9 miles from the venue and a decent price as compared to closer hotels…
Room 714 was very comfortable and clean, great mattress and pillows. The bathroom was also great with high water pressure, hot water and the drains worked well! Climate control worked flawlessly and blackout curtains and the Keurig coffeemaker were great features… It was funny that there was no hair dryer, hand soap, or bottled water in the room, but that may have been something housekeeping forgot…
We opted for the buffet breakfast when booking the room, and the food was very good, better than most buffets. Quality and hot pancakes, sausages and crispy bacon, potatoes and scrambled eggs. Everything else (oatmeal, cereal, danish, etc) is also available. The coffee was deelish!
The check-in staff was excellent. We have to give a big shout out to the Ladies who staffed the breakfast area…They are the reason we enjoyed such a great breakfast. Thank you Ladies!!!

Hello, Bluewater_464 Thank you for your comments. I apologize for my delay in responding. I'm happy to know you had a very nice visit and that many areas of your stay went well. The hair dryers are in the small shelving unit in the closet and we have moved away from bar soap to bulk dispensers in an effort to do a better job on waste. I'll be sure to review those items with my team. Thank you for your business. Mike.

For travel I have stayed over 3 weeks this year for business & everything is fairly smooth. Rooms are okay, old carpet with stains and queen comforter on a king bed. After a long day it is nice to sit at the bar for wings or sliders and a nice glass of wine. (more on the wine below). Housekeeping has to be requested. No ice machines, ziploc bags w/ice in lobby. Morning staff is friendly at the lobby & morning buffet. This time the night staff at the bar, specially Amber was rude and not accommodating to the customer. She has poured a glass of wine that has been spoiled. I returned it and she was NOT happy. Looked at me with disgust. She is not customer friendly. A suggestion to the bar area, check the wine, you do not want someone getting sick. Wine goes bad after 2 days, it is sour but apparently there is no one in charge of this, it would be nice to pay for a nice glass of wine & not a sour, spoiled one.

We stayed at the hotel for 2 nights for my son’s competition . I checked in app online and got a message that room and key were ready . When we came after long day there were a big line to check in and only one employee . I wanted at least ask a question about my status . But he was very rude and made me wait about 20 min while my room key with my name was already at his desk . Other times I wanted to ask a question there were always a line . We had a room on 8th floor and even overlooking a busy highway room was quiet . Room looked like a normal size and had fridge and coffee maker . There is no room service and only 2 towels . Next day we came back to a very hot room, AC did not work, just was moving the air . Parking lot was big , with posted notes about hotel not being responsible for any vehicle damages , but overall area looked pretty safe and clean . We did not had any food at the hotel , breakfast not included . I’d stay again at this place , but wish employees be nicer and AC fixed . Carpet was stained too . And I was told No for a late check in, even if it was one of my ING member benefits

One of our favorite stops from our 2 weeks road trip from east cost to new york. The hotel was very nice , modern, clean . We would like to thank Britney from frontdesk, I hope we got her name right. Very pleasant professional but at the same time us as a guests can feel the personalized interaction from her. We loved the breakfast buffet all the staffs are polite and accomodating. Also shout out to the gentleman from front desk that accommodated us and helped us find and secure our belonging that we left 🤷🏻♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️ to the rooms safe. He was kind and patient enough - we thank you Kind Sir. ( apologies as i couldnt remember your name) We would definately be back and been recommending your hotel to some colleagues already who are planning to visit washington. Good job keep up the good work everyone!

I'm very surprised to see any negative comments on this hotel. I from El Paso about every three months. This was my first stay at this hotel. Based on my experience, this will be my go to hotel when I'm in town
For me, the first impression is the best. Shayla was very pleasant and a joy to talk with during check-in.
I then had the pleasure of meeting Makayla for another great experience.
To say every contact I had with the front desk was great.
The room is nice. There are enough USB plugs and outlets if you are traveling with others. For the price, I think it is a great value for your money. It's conveniently located.
You can order food delivery. They have a restaurant on site. I wasn't satisfied with the wings. They have breakfast which isn't included but you can add it to your hotel reservation which ends up being cheaper. The breakfast buffet was well stocked. I had bacon scrambled eggs and salsa.
The gym is also well equipped. I would like to have seen a water cooler in the room.
Thank you for making my stay pleasant.

Our family of four stayed one night to see the University of Maryland College game and spend time with our Niece who attends the school. We chose this hotel for convenience of distance to the college. This hotel was a great location for that purpose (about a 15 minute drive). Other than that I unfortunately do not have many positives to share. I will not choose this location again for the following reasons: 1. There is one elevator in this 18 story hotel. We waited upwards of 25 minutes just to get on the elevator and other guests rudely pushed their way past us to get in first despite our family having been there waiting before them. They were literally kissing us in the elevator just so they did not have to wait their turn and “sardined” themselves in our personal space. 2. We were charged extra money because we are a family of (4)-2 young adult boys(after 3rd adult there is an extra 20.00 charge). Ok-no problem….. but the room was only supplied with towels for two people. We had to ask for additional towels. We had to come back to the lobby to get the towels ourselves. Then another 15 minute wait to use the elevator . 3. Everything….and I mean everything was stained! Towels were stained and scratch and smelled musty . Comforter one of the queen beds had “what looked like urine.” The floor had multiple stains that looked like “puke”. One of the lights above the bed closest to the window had hardware hanging out of it and was inoperable. The pullout mirror to the right of the sink had missing sheet rock and was loose. And disappointingly, the coffee maker did not power up for a morning cup of coffee. It was a nice touch to have shampoo/soap/body products in pump form but they smelled “fishy” not good smells. I did bring some of these issues we encountered up to the front desk staff and they said “oh I’m sorry…we will make note of it..”. They were pretty much like an “oh well that’s too bad attitude and really lacked a customer service drive to make things better or what can we do to earn your future business with us.” Giving them 2 stars for location and a place to rest and shower before moving on, but really not great.

Hello, Tinkerbelle43. Thank you for your feedback. I apologize that you encountered several issues during your visit. We have 3 elevators in our hotel and 1 of them was intermittently down during the time of your visit; I am sorry I did not know of a second issue. I have shared your guestroom comments with my Executive Housekeeper and Chief Engineer. We have an existing preventative maintenance program and inspection program and we dropped the ball in this instance. Your comments will help us to improve and I appreciate you taking the time to write. Thank you, Mike.

When we got there the checkin was on time but as soon as we got to our room everything went downhill. The comforter/duvet was dirty and different dirty spot on it- I called the front desk and they said they will change it asap but till we left the next day nothing was done. The bathroom, the napkin/tissue box was only with 4 pieces of napkins/tissue in it. The next morning, I went for breakfast, there were only basic buffet with some breads, cereals, milk, limited yogurts flavor, eggs, sausage ,pancakes and some pastries like 2 types. It's not worth it for the price paid at allll.

On Thursday morning 10th August we had breakfast at 7am with the group I was traveling with, around 50 people. Shamefully and with bitter surprise we found nothing except some leftovers from the group from the previous round. For a 4 star hotel that doesn't have a central location it's just a joke. Having paid and being treated like beggars who have to beg for breakfast is truly shameful. There wasn't even a waiter nearby.

As a family on the road, this hotel did NOT meet our needs. Our "breakfast included" reservation did not include our 2 kids (who had to buy from the menu), and the breakfast buffet was partly self-service. Laid-back staff. Older hotel but very clean and calm.

Hello, marieclaude857. Thank you for your review. I apologize for my delay in getting back with you. I am sorry that your " breakfast included" did not include 4 people. Our standard breakfast package is in fact only for 2 people. Our buffet is also self service for breakfast items and we do approach tables to see if a beverage is needed and/or if other items are desired. I apologize this was not a good experience and we will continue to work with our business partners to ensure all information is accurate. It's also nice of you to take the time to comment on the hotel being clean and calm. Thank you, Mike.

At first, the room appeared clean but throughout our stay, I found: a small wad of hair that was not mine in the shower, red stains on the fitted sheets at the foot of the bed that looked like food, big dark stains on the carpet, specks of something that looked like food in the sink overflow and the sink would not drain properly. No one serviced our room on any of the nights we stayed so each evening, my husband went back down to get towels. On the last night of our stay, the front desk said they ran out of the big towels and all they had left were the small ones which was a nice way to say a bath mat towel. The ac unit vent also started to drip water so I had to put the pile of dirty towels under it to keep it from hitting the floor and to muffle the drip sound. If the ac unit was dripping water, there is probably mold under the vent door and in the area where the water falls onto the carpet below. Outwardly appearance, the hotel seems like it’s a nice place to stay but I was sorely dissappointed especially on the last night due to having to use a bath mat as a towel.
