We had no idea that this hotel was so far from the CBD but nevertheless we got used to travelling in and out on the metro and a bit of Ubering. The room was clean and the bed to die for. I wish I could bring it home with me. The bath is a bit tiny and difficult to get out of as it only has an edge on one side but the shower was heavenly. I would recommend this hotel any time even though the nearest metro station is Greenbelt. They provide a free shuttle service from the hotel to the station from 9am to 7pm. The only problem I had was they didn't clean our table where my hubby had made us coffee. Other than that, we had an enjoyable stay.

Me and my SO stayed here for a weekend trip for sight seeing and a concert in DC. The customer service at the front desk was great especially when we spoke to Jon. He was very kind and helpful in many ways and always greeted us when he saw us.. Our room was clean and worked for what we needed it to be which was just a place to sleep. They give you a card to fill out saying which cleaning service you would like while you were here, we selected to not get service because we brought our own things to use and would not need it to be replenished. The only issues we had here was that our room smelt a little bit like cigarettes when we walked in but I believe this was because we were right above the smoking area outside. The toilet would make noise all night until you jiggled the handle. Overall, this was a good hotel with nice and helpful staff.

We stayed 3 nights during a major renovation. (Half of the building was walled off on our floor.) Service was generally gracious; but the low quality of the breakfast buffet didn’t match the fifteen-dollar asking price. As one might expect for a hotel being renovated, room fixtures, hall carpet, etc. were worn and blemished; but if they keep working, eventually it will shine.

Stayed here for one night as part of a wedding party.
On arrival the room was HORRIBLE. I was in a rush and only there for one night so I decided not to be the “ COMPLAINER” as the room was only being used to change.
After returning to the room for a crash nap before my drive back home. Woke up one hour later to these bite marks. I was not happy from check in so I decided to just check out @ 5am. Went to the front desk who asked if I saw any bugs. It’s not my job to look for bugs. Or if it can be an allergic reaction.
I was told to email the manager.. Days later no response. Finally got a call back from the manager who went on to say that the hotel is under renovation which does not warrant renting rooms that they themselves will not stay in.
I was also told that they cannot reimburse every guest that complained. The pictures below will show that this was not just a complaint! I was offered 20% off the room night even though she was fully aware that the rooms were filthy, the bathroom tub was peeling and the carpets smelled horrible.
Do not stay here!!!!

Stayed here for a week. Original room was facing 295, road noise was so loud it woke me several times, room was not very clean and appeared worn in many palaces.
Asked to be relocated on other side of building. Next room was cleaner but missing coffee and a clock. Still a few things not functional and room appeared well worn. I have stayed in dozens of Holiday Inns for business, and this one was the worst. Also saw trash (empty wine bottles) in parking lot, which was not picked up over a few days.

Stayed here for 5 nights on a business trip. Rooms are of decent size and the location is convenient. They have serious housekeeping issues as the rooms are not cleaned. They were cleaned only after a complaint to the front desk. Housekeeping needs improvement!

It took us about 25 minutes to check in because there was only one poor employee at the desk at check-in time on a Saturday. We almost missed the wedding we were there for.
The room smelled a little funny when we entered, kind of like mold. But we didn't have time to check it thoroughly because we were late for a wedding. (See above check in fiasco.) The next morning I noticed the floor by the window was soaking wet. I looked above and the ceiling was leaking onto the table and then onto the floor.
The tub also needed replaced. See photos.
The room smelled a little funny when we entered, kind of like mold. But we didn't have time to check it thoroughly because we were late for a wedding. (See above check in fiasco.) Stayed here from 10/26-10/29. Upon arrival, no one is at the front desk to greet you. You have to call for someone for about 5 minutes before someone comes out from the back. My room smelt like cigarettes and the room just looks run down which is not my usual IHG experience. My last night there, I saw a mouse run across my desk (i’m deathly afraid of mice). I couldn’t move from my bed and was terrified. I was stuck in my bed for an hour calling the front desk and no one picked up. Finally got the courage to run downstairs, worker was pleasant and granted me a new room. Eventually spoke with the Manager Renee, who was extremely rude, unprofessional and dismissive. I’ve never experienced someone in a managerial position act like that. It was extremely disappointing and distasteful. I already reported her to cooperate because she’s the one that replies to all the reviews here. Writing this review for others so they won’t waste their time. Book somewhere else. Save your money and mental health.

Stayed for DC trip. Room was decent size and it was nice to have a fridge with a freezer too. One of the beds had stains all over the sheets. Good thing the other bed was clean and I was only one person. The wall behind the bed was also very dirty. The AC worked well but I had to take the thermostat off the wall to get it to work. Maintenance came to my room and was very helpful. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. The overnight staff was great, especially Denise( I think that was her name). Shopping plaza within a 5-10 min walk through the parking lots. This hotel needs a lot of updating.

well let's start with the first room they gave me!! It smelled so bad, like Mildew they tried to cover up with bad smelling deodorant. The second room was ok. Then on the website it said food was provided in the morning. I called down to ask and they said they didn't have that and have to update their website. I book hotel because of certain amenities, if u have it on your website then I expect for it to be there. I understand that it was a pandemic but the restrictions has been lifted and things are back to normal so to still rely on that as an excuse is just bad business.!!! The Front desk clerk just seem to be there to be rude and collect a check!! This well be the last time I will stay at a holiday Inn and I will be sure to tell my friends about the horrible experience!!

Hello, we offer a breakfast buffet and it is $10 per person.
Yes they do have smoking rooms plus they have a lounge that you can smoke in. The rooms are great you will be very happy.
