I had to attend a lengthy government related function and decided to try this hotel as I had stayed in many other hotels in this area before was found the service poor and rooms small and overpriced.
I can’t say enough how awesome the staff at residence Inn is. The gentlemen at breakfast ( which by the way is the best breakfast buffet I have had at a hotel other than an all inclusive) were courteous and professional
The front desk was beyond helpful and super nice! The managers were very involved in making sure guests were happy, and made sure they were available to assist in any way. The rooms were very spacious, I have never given five starts to a hotel before. They are just starting some renovations so if any negative reviews pop up in the near future that may be why, but I was not affected in any way by the renovations. I will definitely come back here in any future trips to Greenbelt.

Finishing up a 2 week stay in one of the larger suites. As I began my search to find a hotel for 2 weeks in the Washington DC area, I kept coming back to this hotel for some reason, and it was absolutely the right decision. The price, location, and most importantly, the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, led me to give it 5 stars. In particular, I would like to mention the helpful April, who, true to her word, went the extra effort and researched local swimming pools for the kids to go to. Also, Martha at the front desk patiently handled our requests for more towels, and printing requests, all without flinching an eye. Also, the Polish maintenance guy always had a smile on his face as I saw him around the hotel property, ensuring everything was clean and looking just right. Finally, a thanks for both Wendy and April for planning and putting on a special kids' activity night for kids in the hotel.

I stayed at the residence inn for close to 3 months. Their staff was friendly and helpful throughout my entire stay. I always had a clean room and the staff was able to accommodate my "numerous" requests that I would need to stay for a bit longer. It was easy for me to spend a few months living here and I would definitely recommend the hotel for anyone who needs a room in the DC area.

I stayed here for a little over a month and I do not have any major complaints. The service provided by the Front desk and kitchen staff is incredible. Mr. Ty Wilson and Ms. Wendy Williams provided exceptional service as did Stefan and another young lady I interacted with regularly. Special shutout to Mr. Damion James for for providing us with a hot meal for breakfast daily. Mr. George from the evening socials is the kindest man ever. I had a 2 bedroom Suite because it was the only ADA compliant room for people with physical disabilities but I loved the amount of space in the living room.
My two complaints are there is only only room with a walk-in shower throughout the whole building and walking to the main building from the outside corridor.

Have stayed at many Marriott properties as a Marriott Bonvoy member and card holder and all have been good until now. As an Elite member, I'm normally content with just a late checkout. I went here for a little R&R before work and was given a room with a faulty fire alarm that chirped loudly every 2-3 minutes. After bringing it to the attention of the front desk, I was told that maintenance was not on property yet and should arrive in 20-30 minutes. I waited and not only was maintenance late, I was told the replacement brought was not a correct fit amd new batteries would not fit (original batteries had exploded and corroded inside the unit). By now, I have limited time to sleep and am in pure disbelief that I was given a room with a complicated issue to fix. I requested to be left to get some rest and maybe fix the issue the next day. It was granted. Not once was I offered a different room OR a future stay to replace this horrible one. Not sure what more I can say. It was my first visit.

We strive for continuous improvement and therefore rely upon guests such as you to let us know where we may have fallen short. I'd like to apologize again for any unanticipated beeping from the smoke detector in your room. I can understand how that may not make for the best first, or lasting impression when you're trying to relax. Please know that batteries are unpredictable as there is no exact expiration date. The beeping may start at any minute - similar to those that are in most homes. I'm sorry that we were not able to change them as quickly as you would have expected them to be. As this is a life safety issue and one that is taken seriously in the event of a fire alarm, we do our collective best to ensure that they are replaced as soon as we're made aware. Feel free to reach out to me directly should you plan a return trip to the Greenbelt area. We will ensure there are no repeat infractions the next time around. Can’t say enough good things about the Residence Inn Marriott in Greenbelt, MD
This was a family visit and stay was booked by a family member using bank card points. Check in was complicated by this method of booking and General Manager Wendy Williams expertly sorted it out.
Property was well maintained.

The staff at this hotel are incredible and the Covid protocols made me feel safe to be staying here. The room was comfortable and had everything I needed! The location is centrally located to many facilities, food, grocery and attractions. Definitely recommend!

We are in the Greenbelt area investigating a place to live so we wanted to stay a week, shop and cook in our room. We requested a room with a kitchen including at least a cook top, mini fridge and microwave. We wound up with a full size fridge, full size stove with top burners and a full size oven, garbage disposal and a dishwasher! When we are traveling a while we get tired of eating out so we wanted to cook our own meals so this place was perfect. Front desk check in and services were great thanks to Lorie, Mike, Jamie & Amilya, quick, efficient and very professional. Housekeeping were amazing and super clean. Food service was a step above thanks to Margarita and Rochelle, they both kept the breakfast bar, which is extensive, stocked up and clean. You can tell that management encourages teamwork and quality workmanship. Thank you for welcoming great stay at Greenbelt.

Clean, safe hotel with friendly staff. I was traveling to Maryland for business and I arrived after 10:00pm on Friday. The staff at the desk were very helpful at check in and were cheerful even for it being so late. The room was quiet and clean. Plenty of towels and other items for my stay. The next day I informed the staff at the desk that I would be receiving a package. They said that it could be delivered to me at the hospital I was going to be working at, which I thought was pretty amazing. I checked out after the weekend to stay at a Towne Place Suites and the staff were once again so accommodating. All of the staff were amazing in terms of customer service, but I want to give a special thank you to Martha Valasco and Solomon B. for taking the time to deliver my package to the Town Place Suites. Thank you again for your hospitality! Great hotel with excellent customer service!

It seemed safe and quiet to me, but not so quiet as to be a problem. As a previous person said, there are other hotels around. I would leave my car there in your situation without concern.

Glad you were able to take part in our week night Mix and hope you're encouraging Ms. Jenni to do the same :) Yes, on March 21 (Tuesday night), we will have complimentary beer and wine at our evening Mix which is from 6:00 - 7:30 PM. Afterwards, both red and white wines can be purchased from the Market adjacent to the Front Desk, as well as several domestic and imported beer selections. Please let us know which is your favorite and we'll be sure to have it ready for you!
