Travelers' Choice
The William Vale is a contemporary luxury hotel in the heart of Williamsburg, featuring world-class hospitality, breathtaking views, elevated public green space, and beyond. All 183 rooms and suites at The William Vale feature floor-to-ceiling windows, open-air balconies, and spectacular views of New York City and its boroughs. Award-winning chef Andrew Carmellini of The Dutch, Locanda Verde, and more, directs The William Vale’s distinct culinary concepts: Leuca, a Southern Italian restaurant with wood-fired coastal cuisine in a casually elegant atmosphere; Westlight, a 22nd-floor rooftop bar, serving rare spirits, craft cocktails and small plates with panoramic skyline views; and Mister Dips, a retrofitted 1974 Airstream, serving burgers, fries, and seasonal dairy dips in Vale Park. Located across the river from Manhattan, The William Vale is easily accessible from LGA (15 min) and JFK (25 min) airports by taxi, and a 10-minute walk to the Bedford L subway stop into Manhattan.

This was an incredible stay! I’m a hotel snob and this stay exceeded expectations! The restaurants are amazing!! From the balcony view, to exceptional housekeeping and room service, to personal touches, our stay was beyond comfortable! My son was feeling under the weather and it was late - Heidi at the front desk sent a percolator and tea bags to help! It was perfect!! So grateful!! 5+ stars

Hotel's Favorite
I stayed at The William Vale for three nights in November 2019. What an amazing hotel. I was greeted with such kindness and this continued throughout my stay. I booked the king room and my room was situated on the 14th floor. The room was fantastic. Clean, modern and had a fantastic view over Brooklyn. The rooms were big for New York standards. I can’t complain about this hotel. The gym was great, the rooftop bar was fantastic, and all of the facilities were clean and modern. The restaurant located inside the hotel, Luca, was delicious. I dined here for breakfast and dinner. The food was divine and the service was fast and top-notch. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The hotel is in the perfect location in Williamsburg. I highly recommend staying at this hotel if you are visiting Brooklyn.

I definitely enjoyed my stay at your hotel. Darren went above and beyond with familiarizing my boyfriend and I with the area as we are not from New York. He is very personable and answered all questions asked. He is one of a kind and will be the reason that I stay at your hotel again. Thank you Darren!

Where do I start? I stayed at the Vale for 13 nights in April 2021. I stayed in a corner suite and the services and ATTITUDE has proved to me that this hotel doesn't deserve to "win" the forbes award again this yr. 1- Check in (calm down girl, Its Brooklyn not Monte Carlo) The attitude/snootiness I got got from the Receptionist when I kindly asked if my room was ready was RIDICULOUS. 2- I had my mini bar emptied COMPLETELY for no reason + wine opener + cups and glasses. Please note this has nothing to do with COVID. I had my mini bar for the first 4 days then someone decided to just empty it out. I addressed the issue to the manager 3 times and promised to take care of it and unfortunately nothing happened. 3- A 5 star hotel delivers whatever packages you have to the room. I had packages at the lobby for more than 3 days and no one even cared to notify my about their arrival. 4- Good luck trying to call the front desk from your Hotel Room! No one really answers. 5- Room service is until 10 pm but the restaurant is open till 11 pm (Dumbest thing I've witnessed). 6- Housekeeping is TERRIBLE. I had to tell the hotel front desk everyday about the areas that i wanted to be VACUUMED in the room. Cause this hotel apparently doesn't understand what a vacuum is. And the funny thing is when I indicated that I wanted the rug in my room to be vacuumed the guy goes and types it on the computer as if its a STRANGE REQUEST. FYI 5 star hotels vacuums everyday. 7- Dont even let me get started on the Vulgar staff at their rooftop terrace. apparently when You stay at a suite for 13 nights and pay around 7000 USD you still dont have priority to a table FOR 1. 8- I left my room one day at 4:00pm. I informed the front desk that i wanted my SUITE cleaned and the reply i got was "its too late but we can give you towels and replace your trash cans." 5 STAR really? 9- Elevators need to be repaired I guess especially the card reader, it's usually a mission to get to your floor. 10- Views are incredible :) this hotel doesn't deserve to be marketed as a 5 star hotel whatsoever. with the services they (CLAIM TO PROVIDE) this hotel is nothing more than a 4 star hotel. Thank You

My stay was exceptional! The customer service is unparalleled and the Manager, Darren was so patient, accommodating, understanding and kind. Plus he granted me the best possible upgrade, which allowed me to enjoy views of Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queen. It was an AMAZING experience! The robe, slippers and contactless delivery were the icing on the cake. I’ll return as many times as I can! It’s now my new favorite home away from home ❤️
