I simply loved my stay A & Faye B&B. We were a group of a couple + two elderly ladies.
Rooms are exactly immaculate as described, absolutely spotless, and beautifully decorated, basic in a Victorian style but with the personal touch of the owners.
Beds are extremely comfortable. Quite quiet neighborhood.
Phil is a gentleman, amazing host, it seems he works hard to maintain all that quality of service. The breakfast is the paramount, make us feel pampered with so many fresh options of excellent quality!
I would not only recommend A & Faye B&B, but will also return in another opportunity.

I am so thankful that I stumbled upon this gem when searching places to stay near Prospect Park in Brooklyn. We spent the first four nights of January 2018 at A & Faye B & B. After a LONG drive from Tennessee pulling a trailer with our daughter's belongings, it was such a treat to be warmly welcomed by Phil into their lovely home. Four of us stayed up on the top floor in the Orchid & Chaconia rooms where we had comfortable linens, access to a small fridge & microwave, & a large, well-equipped bathroom. We got caught there during the "bomb cyclone" which was a bit of a shock to us Southerners but coming back to the Archer's warm & cozy home each day was very welcome. And it was also a bonus to be provided such a yummy breakfast each morning that included warm & cold choices along with fruit & drinks. As mentioned in a previous review, if you're really lucky, Phil will treat you to a song on the steel drum. We look forward to visiting our daughter, whose apartment is nearby, when there is not so much snow on the ground & we can explore the park area more. Oh, and the subway is just a short stroll away. Thanks again Phil & Faye & we look forward to coming back again in the future. :-)

We had a lovely six night stay with Phil and Faye in December. It was very cold in New York during our stay and it was great to come back to a warm and cozy room every night after being out all day. The location is great the subway is a five minute walk and you are in the city in 30 minutes. Prospect park is also very close and is nice to walk through. I was so happy we decided to stay in Brooklyn as it gave us a chance to get away from the touristy feel and have a more authentic stay. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful and it was nice to meet the other guests. Phil was very friendly and accommodating with us. The bed and Breakfast was very good value for money as the rooms are large, with big beds and a tv with many channels. I was very happy in our decision to stay in Brooklyn.

My husband and I recently stayed at this very clean and cozy bed and breakfast. From the outside you may not expect just how nice this converted house is! It's near Prospect Park and near the train. The owner is friendly and attentive and a great cook!!! We loved our stay and will definitely return!

Very clean and comfy room in a large converted house, with air conditioning and tv, there was a shared bathroom but it was not a problem! A great host provides breakfast and friendly conversation. We found it to be A convenient location, and a great value. He even has robes in the closet for guests.
At $99 a night, you can't beat it with a stick.

Hi Laurie R, Thank you for your review. We are happy that you had a good experience and is sharing it on Trip Advisor. This will get the word out to more potential guest . The price you paid at the time was during our promotional campaign it’s not constant and like we stated on our website it can change without notice. However if someone book during the campaign period and the price had change by the time they are ready to stay. What they will pay is the price that was quoted at booking. Phil and Faye

Stayed here for 4 days while visiting our son (who has a studio apt. about 1 mile away) and to get some writing underway and finished. The Hibiscus Room was immaculate, spacious and very serene. It's a bit over a mile stroll through the Park to Prospect, with all the restaurants - a very nice walk through the park - but for anyone not inclined to walk, a $6 uber. Neighborhood is lively and - for people who still don't know NY - very safe. It was fun to walk past the Parade Grounds and see all the kids in summer sports camps having so much fun. In the evenings families are out with their kids socializing.
I would definitely stay here again! Lucky find. The location: easy ride into Manhattan on the F train (station is just a few blocks away). The B&B: extremely well maintained home with terrific hosts!

During May 2017 we stayed in the Wild Flower room on the middle floor, using a bathroom shared with another room on that floor. The room was large and very clean, the bed comfy, with fantastic Wi-Fi as well as TV entertainment. The bathroom was extremely clean and large and sharing was not a problem.
The B&B is in a great location, opposite athletic fields and close to Prospect Park, which is worth a visit. Church Ave. Subway (Metro) is about 5 minutes walk, giving you easy access into Manhattan.
Plenty restaurants within walfing distance in the neighborhood which has character and is friendly.
What makes the B&B is Phil and Faye. Phil is an excellent host and makes his home your home during your stay. The breakfasts (full english as we know it) are a treat with various cereal options and yoghurt, then eggs, sausage or bacon, tomato, toast, cheese and jams as well as fresh fruit, too much to mention.
Phil is nearly finished a new room with private bathroom on the same floor which will be a great asset to the B&B.
Overall a fantastic stay, with a brilliant host. Thanks Phil. When visiting New York again, our accommodation is sorted as we will definitely be going back to A and Faye B&B.
Thanks for everything, Tony & Heidi
