Wythe Hotel opened in 2012 on the Williamsburg waterfront as the first hotel in Brooklyn to reflect and celebrate the creative spirit of our Borough. We are located in a 117 year old factory building that has been meticulously converted into a 69-room hotel – with King Kong skyline views from many rooms. The hotel’s restaurant Le Crocodile is a neighborhood brasserie serving earnest French fare in a setting inspired by our Parisian and New York favorites. Our rooftop bar – Bar Blondeau – is popular with guests and neighbors for sunset cocktails and for its picture postcard views of the New York City skyline. We are focused on culture, food, community, and warm, genuine service. We are staunchly local, and mindful of our role in Brooklyn’s proud history of welcoming people from all over the world.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Wythe Hotel for our wedding weekend. I can’t even begin to describe the excellent service we received during our stay. We were immediately met with a very welcoming staff who helped to unload all of our luggage and bring it up to our rooms (and we had lots of luggage!). We had selected a loft suite for the weekend and they so kindly upgraded us to the largest one as it was available. The loft had unbelievable Manhattan skyline views (with a large outdoor balcony!) and was the perfect setting for my bridal party to get ready. There was plenty of space and the room was beautifully furnished. We even were treated to a Wythe Hotel tote bag, bottle of champagne and message of congratulations! Every encounter with the staff was so pleasant and they really went above and beyond to help ensure we had a perfect weekend. I chatted with their team a few times by email prior to our stay and they were so prompt in their response. And everything we discussed was noted and taken care of before our arrival. Our guests could not stop commenting about the spacious, industrial chic rooms! We enjoyed drinks and a few meals at Lemon’s restaurant/bar during our stay and they were all excellent. We also used the coffee/pastries service for breakfast - the coffee, yogurt/granola and pastries were fantastic and a perfect breakfast for the bridal party. I would absolutely recommend staying here with family and friends (and strongly recommend it for a wedding weekend). Also a perfect spot for a stay-cation for those who live in New York...we can’t wait to go back!

We stayed here for 4 days -
it was an amazing experience. The staff was very kind and friendly and really went above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of an had everything that we needed.
We were in and out a lot, but it was great to come back to a clean and taken care of room every time we returned. The mini fridge was fully stocked (they have bottled Coca Cola which was amazing) so that was a nice touch. Something random that I saw, is that they do not let random people enter the building and have access to the elevators. That made us feel safe and really made us not worry about our things.
Would happily stay at the Wythe again for future trips, and I highly recommend it.
Thank You all
The only way you can get better as a business is if there is some critique, and I would say that maybe 5 seconds longer between a knock from housekeeping and the door opening and I wish there was a fleece blanket in the room to stay cozy, but honestly, its not that serious. I really had to stretch for that. The stay was pretty flawless

The hotel is in a great location to explore and enjoy Williamsburg and Greenpoint, with lots of great food nearby. Within the hotel itself is one of the best restaurants in the borough, Le Crocodile. (mushroom pate was amazing)

We stayed in the King room with a city view, and the view was definitely worth the little bit higher rate.

Unfortunately there was some noise coming from a room above, but the staff was attentive and made multiple efforts to ensure we still enjoyed our stay.

We'll definitely stop by again.

Loved our room and the fantastic view across the river of Manhattan. The staff was always attentive and friendly. The doormen/woman were so welcoming ever time you came back or left. Only downsides: our water pressure would drop to a trickle 3-4 times during a shower and the restaurant below us and rooms around were very loud at times. Also, the window shades let a sliver of light in right onto the pillows.

I usually do not write reviews, but my experience at this dump was horrible. I wish to warn others. After I checked in, I found the room to be dirty, the bathroom toilet had feces on it, there was dust and dirt on the floors and the room smelled. I requested that the room be cleaned, that happened lackluster after 3 hours and after I had left the room. The cleaning person spent more time going through my belongings rather than cleaning the room. The people at the front desk have bad attitudes, were lazy, grossly incompetent, unconcerned and nasty. There is a person who works there named Tyrone, horrible person, nasty attitude and not there to assist anyone. He was busy flirting with the so called manager rather than providing customer service. He needs to be terminated.

The restaurant attached to the hotel is Le Crocodile, do not eat there, the food is overly salted, not seasoned well, not fresh, and the wait staff will get your order mixed up. They appear to be nice but do not understand English and get upset when they mess up your order. If you pay through the hotel on your hotel bill, it will be mixed up. I ordered for room service, disasterous and Tyrone at the front desk tried to humiliate me when I requested a credit. I did not eat any of the food, not what I ordered and it looked gross. I personally returned the food. I had eaten at the restaurant the previous day with friends and everyone was dissatified with the food. I did the room service for convenience, what a mistake.

I usually stay at the Wiulliamsburgh hotel, now under renovations. I will never ever stay at the Wythe again. The hotel staff ruined my stay in Brooklyn.

Stayed for 7 nights in October and loved this hotel! Such a great vibe and good location, close walking distance to subway stops and directly opposite Brooklyn Brewery. Tons of great places to eat and drink nearby.

Rooms exceeded expectations, we had a queen room and it was way bigger than we thought, amenities in the room were excellent, mini bar selection was great and loved that every detail in the room from art work to wallpaper was created by local suppliers/artists.

Bed was comfy and plenty of storage room for cases. Only issue was the air con was quiet loud and we couldn’t quite figure this out but a quick call to the front desk and it was resolved.

We had breakfast included which was avocado on toast, croissant and 2/3 other small items, they also had a free Bellini and hors d’oeuvres between 5-6pm for hotel guests which was a nice touch.

Little noisy on a weeknight but we knew this with the area what to expect, we were on 5th floor in room 505.

Concierge on the front door were also amazing, remembered our names and really made us feel at home. I feel a little bit work could be done with some of the reception staff as they were frosty and cold at times but apart from that a great stay overall and will definitely be returning.

Bar Blondeau was amazing, views were great and the staff were so inviting here we loved it! Arrive early for a good seat, the manager in Le Crocodile was also amazing she was so friendly.

Only one major gripe was that some evenings bars were closed due to private functions but I guess this can’t be helped and plus, so much choice in the area.

we can’t wait to return in New York & will certainly return.

The room is pretty nice, if you like the concrete floor (heated), exposed bricks, high ceiling. The restaurant and front desk left a lot to be desired. Our booking included breakfast. Avocado toast was great the first day. Another day, it looked to have been squeezed from a tube of pre-made and processed green something.
When checking out, one breakfast was charged. We had to fight, waited for manager approval and then got it written off. Subsequently we got charged for it again 3 days later, separately. Had to call and for the front desk to claim that ours does not include breakfast, that she'll check with the manager. Small amount of disputed charge for a place we paid $500+ a night! Feels so cheap.

Coolest Room, Great Location
Review of Wythe Hotel

Loved this hotel! The staff was supper nice and inviting. My room was one of the coolest rooms I've ever stayed in, fun two way mirror into the shower :0 The patio was fantastic just wished it was a few degrees warmer so I could enjoy it.
The location was a great neighborhood with interesting shopping(Mothers Junk-don't insult mother!), grocery store, and a few awesome restaurant/bars to hang out in and talk with the locals. Transit was a couple blocks away, Uber easy to catch, and walking was fascinating and felt very safe.

This hotel was a perfect location for a 6 night getaway to visit our son and celebrate my wife’s birthday. Just a few blocks from the L train which takes you straight to Manhattan staying at the Wythe gives you easy access to the city and a great property and neighborhood that relax in.

Our room at the Wythe was a “Brooklyn View” and I t was warm and comfy when it was freezing outside. Well appointed and stocked the room had above average soundproofing which made it a great place for me to chill as I needed some down time to help me recover from a long illness.

Both the bar and restaurant were great and staff were excellent, always ready to make your stay memorable. It made for a fun, nice homey vibe that made for a memorable trip.

Of course it’s easy to get top marks when everything goes right, in our case there was a hiccup related to some maintenance (repair happens) and this time a where the manager Grace stepped up and stopped the work and did everything possible to make things right. After 40 years in business I can tell you it’s how organizations handle hiccups that shows true professionalism and Grace is a true Pro

The room was spotless and the bed was comfortable. Our room on the 2nd.floor had a large balcony. Like many modern hotels, there's a window between the bathroom and main room. Unlike many, it's strategically placed to give you privacy. While the room was large with very high ceiling, there was minimal storage and hanging space, making this a great place for a short stay. I didn't realize I had left an expensive piece of jewelry in the room. Luckily, the hotel contacted me and I was able to retrieve it. 5 stars for honesty! In the bathroom they had The Davines Dede Shampoo and Conditioner which is very good for color treated hair. It's very gentle. They also provided robes, but no slippers.

Street noise should not be a problem, especially on the Manhattan side. The bar is not actually on the rooftop, it's on a terrace level about half way up the building, so it's probably best to either be on the third/fourth floor or on a higher floor. I don't remember that anything is included in the price of the room.

I know that the hotel is pet friendly but I don't know if there is a fee. Most hotels don't allow you to leave your pet in the room if you are not there but you may be able to work that out with them.
