I didnt like this hotel. The place was smokey and loud and parking wasnt what I thought it would be. I would have been more comfortable elsewhere. Its not the place for a comfortable stay for us. There was a smokey smell in the place.
Tiny room, I had to koce the bed just to get into the bathroom. The ad says you can bring your cat or dog but when I arrived they said service animals only. The "closet" is a free standing cabinet behind the door so you can't open it all of the way. There is no space around the beds to move around the beds and parking is $30 not the $25 they said it would be plus an undisclosed fee for the pet they said was welcome but isn't
This hotel was horrible!! I have stayed in “roach” motels much better than here. The entire hotel smelled like marijuana. I spoke to another guest and they said the same thing. When I said our room was in the basement, she said we were lucky we missed the fights on the upper floors. The first night we had to listen to a yapping dog till 1130 pm. I guess the dog was too dehydrated to tap anymore. Our room was in the basement. So we heard all the vehicles and people on the streets. Since our only window was at street level. The room was soo small that there was barely any room for a night stand between the beds. Then left less than a foot between the beds and the walls. The door to the bathroom was less than a foot from the bed. Making it hard to get into the door way. Then there was no vent fan in the bathroom. It was so small that the toilet paper holder was partially in the shower. Which made it soo much fun trying to use wet toilet paper. The TV barely worked, the remote didn’t. The breakfast advertised did not happen. You got a bag with a mini bottle of water, mini muffin or a nutri grain bar and a piece of fruit. Which in two of the bags we had rotten apples. Took them to the front desk and he said yea they know they have been having rotten apples. Knowing that they did nothing to change it. I was told there would be at least OJ nope wrong again. The only couple spaces to park on the property was $25 a night. And you had to pay each night separately. But there was a tractor trailer tractor parked in the property the entire time with a multi day pass. I will say the employees were great to deal with. And they tried to keep some order or at least to make people wear masks. The cleaning staff were nice enough to let us in our room when our door key cards wouldn’t work. Which quit working after our first night. On the way home we stopped for some food and we were near a La Quinta and my wife looked at me and said we should go see it smelled like a marijuana grow also. For La Quinta to be part of the Wyndham family of hotels is sad. I’ve stayed in other Wyndham hotels and they were great. I will not stay in another La Quinta hotel if I have any choice in it. Even if paid to stay there I would still hold out.…
My friends and I stayed here and really enjoyed the hotel. Our room attendant Christina was amazing! Very good at her job! As a former Housekeeping Manager I could tell she took her time in the rooms and takes pride in her work. Please commend her on a job well done. We plan to come back and would stay here again in a room that Christina has cleaned. Overall, a positive experience!
