This hotel is very overpriced for what you get. The restaurants are the main focus and the hotel services and facilities are subpar. There is no lobby or concierge/reception when you walk in—instead it’s one of the restaurant hostess desks. Of course we didn’t know the difference and asked for help with bags and valet (there wasn’t one…) only to rudely told by the hostess that she wouldn’t have any idea bc she doesn’t work in the hotel…The actual hotel reception desk is tucked in the corner, poorly lit and crowded. The rooms are tiny. Ok, it’s New York. The entire back of the hotel faces the mechanics of the building, so opening the windows wasn’t possible. Too bad the AC also wasn’t working well. So a tiny stuffy room. Soft pillows and no extras for options or blankets. One mid sized towel per guest. No amenities in the bathroom not even a Q tip! Tv only has live TV—no ability to chrome cast or stream or rent a movie. Not great for a pouring rain day. Ok so we venture down to the lobby-which is nonexistent. The entire space is cafe or restaurant or bar. Good service and good food—but no space set aside in the restaurants for hotel guests (as any nice hotel should do) so we couldn’t eat anywhere. Another rude hostess looked aghast when we said we were walkins from the hotel. No general lounge and space area to chill/read/meet people. Had to wait for table in cafe, and felt rushed as they were trying to turn it over. Overall, maybe the restaurants are great—wouldn’t know. The hotel is not and is NOT worth the money. Plenty of other cheaper options or same priced options with much better amenities and service.

We had a team week event in their meeting space and were just so impressed. Eric and Ramzi were so patient, quick to respond, available and on-call to help and just overall a pleasure to work with. Thank you for providing top-notch service and making our team feel at home. Beautiful rooms that were a joy to come back to after a long day of meetings and a great staff as well. We will for sure be back! Thank you Eric and Ramzi!!

A pretty hotel in a nice area but not very easy to get services once inside (it feels like being in a busy airport). Room was very small but quiet and clean. I didn’t think it was a good value for the price unfortunately. You have to be pretty assertive to even get your order taken.

Entrance is bizarre. Steep staircase down into a restaurant. Hostess said the hotel was off to the left. There is an elevator if you don't want to carry your luggage, but it isn't obvious and comes out by the bar. Tiny lobby. Room wasn't ready. Tiny!!! The hallway was so narrow that I cold stand with my shoulder against one wall and touch the opposite one. Code? Room fit the bed and not much more. Basically a crash pad. Handle in the shower was loose - set screw was gone. Hot water pulsed - you set the temp and it would pulse hotter, change the setting, it would pulse again, and again, and again. On a positive note - the bed was comfortable and the lighting was very good.

This was by far the best New York Hotel experience I’ve ever had! Nick the GM, is very responsive, accommodating, and helped make our kids Spring break trip go, one of their most memorable! The reception staff was exceptional, their rooftop bar Laser Wolf, was to die for. Overall, I loved this hotel, and will be back. Thank you so much Hoxton team, for making this memorable for me and my family.

Absolutely horrible experience. I would never stay here again. The price point for what you get is ridiculously high. Tiny room, bathroom flooded, my sheets were dirty & had BLOOD on them. I’m pretty sure I got ringworm from the dirty bathroom. I complained about my sheets being covered with blood & they gave me $100 off a two night stay that was well over $1000. DO NOT STAY HERE!

The location is great. The rooms were nice -- no complaints. The staff was our only complaint -- they very much exuded this "too good to be here" vibe. Waited for my room until 5pm with no apologies - just kept asking me to check back in "soon". It became one of those experiences that was so bad it ended up making us laugh so not all bad. Again though, it looks the part.

We tried to come here for a drink as a family with a baby and was treated very rudely by the bald man at the check-in desk. He said he couldn’t seat us even though there were plenty of tables free, and basically told us to go away because we had a baby with us. There was no need to be that rude.

Perfect stay in a beautiful part of Brooklyn. Staff friendly, room very clean, bed super comfy, bedding soft and welcoming. We had a quick 2 night stay and was pleasantly surprised that the room, small in sq ft, felt airy & inviting. Not claustrophobic like we had envisioned. Only drawback was a sub par dinner at Laser Wolf but that is for a different review. Great location in Williamsburg.

The location is perfect for both a community feel and access to Manhattan, restaurants around Williamsburg are incredible so don't just focus on heading into the City. The staff are what make the Hoxton in every City, always helpful, friendly and go out of their way to ensure your trip is FAB. I would highly recommend the Hoxton Williamsburg
