So start off... This hotel is in THE center of Brooklyn, when much older people may call artisy fartisy lol. The hotel has things to offer that I did not take part in but the bar dow stairs on the lower level was popping, the seats putside waa full, i heard from another patron that the pool upstairs is warm, and the food is good. I went for BBQ brisket tacos down the street, with a bada** casamigos that made me go buy the real thing to experience it on a not bartender level with some pineapple juice. I recommend it. Not headaches or twisted stomach. Just dry mouth in the morning lol. Anywayyyyy.... When I approached the hotel with its bright lite sign, a gentle opened the door for me, whom I assume was security for the door and the hotel bar. I asked him how do I check in, he walked me to the elevator, pressed the botton for me, told me what to do. I was grateful lol because I did not see the desk when I first walkes out of the elevator. I think that should do something to make it stand out more or put a sign there lol. Anyway, the host was polite, we has already exchanged emails about parking and I had called to ask other questions before hand and she remembered me lol. So that was nice. She askes to take my temperature for obvious reasons and could I sign for contact tracing purposes, which I thought was great. Oh, and I had to sign a no smoking paper. I dont know if that was o ly for my room or the hotel room. I didnt ask. And i didnt care. Next, the hallway on my floor was long, a deep gray and long. There are little alcoves with about 2 rooms in each one, at least from what I could see, and the dorrs are damn near from celing to floor. The room numbers are both at eye level for shorter folks like me lol, and up higher light by the hallway light, ans reflects on the wall. So cool. You get a kep fab card. Open the door. And your experience begins! I paid for my room the day of. Not smart but it was on a whelm, i needed to check out of life and check into this hotel lol and chill out. I came from far away, so by the time I got to my room I waa ready to relax. The room I seen online was not the room I got. The ceilings are so high! The sliding doors are from ceiling to floor! Beautiful! I wanted a Queen with a terrace. The bed looked the same. The terrance was the same. The color of the room and bathroom was not. I put a photo of the entrance to the bathroom. But... It was all still beautiful. The bathroom was one whole open space, with a rain shower, a seat to sit down, a handle bar on the side and the other mini goodies to go with it. The only problem I had with that shower was that, there is nothing to stop the WHOLE floor from being wet after you shower except tuening on the air. Otherwise, you'll have to be cautious for a while. But it didnt pole up, and leave a puddle, and that was great. Otherwise, I thought it was dope. The bed was not a quewn lol. It was a very comfortable comfy plushy full size bed with hotel fluff on it. I didnt appreciate that but After using that rainshower, and putting on ther very thick and heavy robe, and seen that view! My goodness! I forgot about the bed! That view was everthing! Yes you could the the tops of the shorter buildings and the paths in netween that wasn't cute when you looked down. And I neleive I was on the left hand side of the builing because I could see the food trucks, the hotel down the street and so on. Anyway... The View! There is one seat on every terrace I seen facing Manhattan, Im sure. You can see all of the building, on the waterfront, with thw sun rising or setting, the breeze going through your hair and who gives a chicken scratch about anything esle. The chair has no cushion lol. Its all metal but its not so bad. When you look straight or to your right, you see the other taller hotels, and everything else. Its beautiful. Now, later on, I experience this side of the city alittle, I came on friday, and I was leaving on sunday. The room I wanted exactly is not the one choosen for me and I could have said something and seen what happened but I'd just traveled 8 hrs and change and I just wanted to lay down. Anyway, at about 3am Sunday morning, something happens, and my sister ends up saying she was coming back to my room, meanwhile, there isnt enough room on this bed for her. So I go down to the front desk, ask the gentle for a cot and he says legally they can not give me one because my room size does not permit it but wjat he can do it upgrade my room, complimentary pf course, to adjust thia new situation. And Im like, thats great thank you but Im leaving this morning, like in a few hours, and hes like, thats fine. Do you mees help moving, Im no no, Im good, thank you. You have helped alot! And he didnt. Guess what people! I got the F***ing room that I wanted, that seen online that made me choose this hotel in the first place. The bathroom with the turquoise tiles ughhh It waa everything. Smaller than the first bathroom I had nut the shower waa enclosed with an all glass door. Thw bathroom door itswlf was solid and white. So everyone doesn't have to see youe goodies lol. The shower was still a rain shower but reminds me of a sunflower, it curves and hook. In the case, I think it it had jist come straight down like thw one in the forst room, it would have been netter due to the water coming down so close to the shower door that you nasically on top it. Otherwise, it was jist and great as the other and no cautious walking in the rest of the bathroom, which waant that big anyway..but luxury over space lol. The bed this time was bigger lol... But not what thwy said it was lol. But it sid what we needed it to do and that was give us room to sleep lol. The view was the same as the first but closer and great! I'd stay here again. I would plan ahead for the cost and if you want to try anything in that building, its going to cost more lol. But if you dont want to go out, and you wanted nreakfast, lunch, dinner, a blended crowd, outdoor seating, pool and rooftop action with music and stuff at noght, and maybe even a tea party and not leave your hotel all all. Its possible. Right there. And if you want to gp to the store, for a regualr prices juive or bag of chips or food truck food... It all right across the street. Its a great location. There are restaurants every where, bars every where, food trucks and seats set up across the street... Its like its own little festival. A deli right next to it, that has just about anything you.ight need from bathroom things to muffins. There a huge park about... 3 blocks and change down and arpund a corner... The closest one anyway Beware: COVID central. Sooooo many ppl in that park. Granted there were lots of groups... But it looked like a regular day and there are bars on that side as well. Ppl were having cooks oits near the gates too lol. Anyway lol, its a very active area. Seats outside, staff at all of the restaurants had seats spaced out, maybe ropes in between or plastic between seats on the inside, though close. Theres a liquor store and a whiskey store in the vicinity. On and there is lots of free parking. The gotel has a partner ship with a parking garage about 10 mins walk away for ppl with short legs near the state part under construction right now. The discount made the price go from $23 to $18. I call that winning. Also, the card works to go up in the elevator. You can down without one. But not up, so beware lol. Its funny when it happens. I seen it happen to plenty of ppl and we all laugh cause we are not used to it. And they have good snacks and drinks in thw room, some priced well, others I could go to the store for lol. The mini fridge/jist for drinks, is at the bottom of the closet. Im sure that is a mistake they pay for in every review....except maybe in the bigger rooms I don't know. Their signature robe is folded well at the very top and there are hangers, with a sign that says laundry. And a little safe in the middle. The slim closet has a mirror on the outside. I know this was long but if you made it this far, I hope that means your booking your room.

Celebrated my daughters birthday at the Williamsburg and had a wonderful time, amazing views from our balcony, rooms were so cool and beds were super comfortable. Our stay was fabulous! No complaints at all. When I got home I realized I left my jewelry in the drawer next to the bed and thought OMG I will never see get it back. Heirloom pieces and a Rolex watch. The staff could not be nicer, they had my jewelry. This restored my faith that people are good and honest from the maids to security. A big thank you to Sarah and Kennedy!

The rooms are very cozy, but very cool. Great views, an outside balcony. Wifi was terrific. Breakfast was fabulous. Service was over the top. Juan, at the restaurant, was able to score me some decaf coffee, in spite of the fact that they were out of it. And for me, my decaf is a huge big deal. I'm told they call him "Juan-derful" and I now I know why!

Great experience except for not being able to experience the water tower (we were told it was at capacity, which was disappointing). The room was very nice and the bar was excellent. Walking distance from so many great shops and restaurants. Also PIERRE at the check in desk was very helpful and professional! He was a highlight of our stay
