This was our second time staying at the Planter's Inn. Great location, friendly staff, and clean rooms. Not too many thrills, but perfect for a short stay. Great prices too! Would definitely recommend!

Stayed at the Planters Inn for the first time. This is a delightful hotel. Historic, clean and located in the heart of the historic district. The staff was very helpful, the rooms were decorated nicely and the price was good. We will be back on our next visit.

A lovely hotel to stay in for a downtown experience. Close to everything and super helpful staff. Freshly baked cookies every evening, but no buffet breakfast as the leaflet in the room suggested! Valet parking was $25/night and very convenient, but the public car park is opposite so you might just want to do it yourself!

This hotel is in a great location. There is no breakfast provided, and cookies were only available periodically. There is no refrigerator in the room, and there are no ice machines so you have to ask for ice. The bathroom is large and nice. The bed was awful. The mattress was not firm and unsupportive. Not great if you have back problems. The staff was friendly and helpful. This could be a great hotel with a few changes.

Courteous staff, elegantly furnished, clean and comfortable hotel rooms within walking distance to major attractions in Savannah. Used TripAdvisor to reserve dinner at the Pink House restaurant and basement tavern, next door. Walked a few short blocks to Leopold’s Ice Cream, and afterwards walked to Forsyth Park and Telfair museums. Loved staying at Planters Inn and would return!!

Recently a friend and I visited Savannah, Georgia and stayed at the Planters Inn. It is just steps from the Reynolds Park on a quiet street and away from the busy commercial riverfront. We found it to be ideally located for walking throughout the historic district. The rooms and common area are clean but could use a bit of a “re-fresh/update. The staff were pleasant and a table with coffee were provided in the lobby/sitting area. The hotel does not have its own restaurant but it is only steps away from the Old Pink House Restaurant which we dined at and enjoyed very much. I would recommend the Planters Inn if you are looking for basic, no frills accommodations in a convenient location.

Convenient location in downtown close to places to eat nightlife close to River Street. Staff were mostly friendly there was one rude staff member that management took care of. Special shout out to John and Maryland for helping my friend and I who were blind and visually impaired and going above and beyond. Just to order hotel a lot of appliances are out of date if you want a cheap convenient place to stay and you're not going to spend much time in the hotel it's okay. But if you want a hotel feel and you want better up-to-date appliances I would not stay here and I would stay somewhere else. Our tub did not drink correctly for 95% of our trip and they happen to fix it the night before we were leaving. If they would have fixed our tub the first time that I reported it they probably would receive a four bubble instead of a three bubble.

Beautiful Inn. Close to everything, lots of walking without having to use a car. Clean. No refrigerator in our room so luckily we brought a cooler. No ice machine so constantly asked for ice at the front desk. Everyone was nice at the Inn. Definitely recommend!

Lovely. Old World charm but all the amenities. Professional staff. Adorable room. Great for 1-2. Not big enough for a family. Right downtown. Minutes from the river. Parking garage right next door or Valet for an extra fee. Some rooms view the park.

We chose Planters Inn as we wanted to stay in an old-style Savannah hotel rather than a modern chain. It has a great location near to both the City Market and River Street, a comfy bed and some lovely furniture in the room. The downsides were a view of a parking lot and a rather icky carpet which has seen better days. Overall it was fine, but lacked the extras needed to make the stay special. The receptionist confirmed there would be no breakfast, no wine reception (due to Covid) and no housekeeping during our 2-night stay, which left us wondering what we would get. The answer was warm cookies - very nice, but it will take more than that to tempt us back.
