This is a budget hotel I stayed at while on my drive home. The staff at check in was good as he asked several questions regarding my type of room, even though I had reserved on line. Although the room was dated, it was clean. The check in and check out was easy. The free breakfast is definitely worth it!
Affordable with friendly Rhonda at front desk. She's overworked but still is professional in every way. Can you please give her a raise to compensate for her extra work and what she brings every day? Great pool area. Very relaxing.
Hotel is decent. Good hearty breakfast. Cleanliness could be better but partly due to some of the clientele who were discarding take out food in parking lot. Older furniture was about to replaced by newer stuff as I was leaving. Not bad for price. 10 min drive to downtown.
This was a great place to stay rooms were very clean … close to everything we planned to do . Pool was very nice . Everyone went out of their way to ensure we had a nice visit to Savannah we went on a last minute excuryand we’re allowed to book when we arrived which made this portion of our trip great
Me and my boyfriend need a place to sleep in our trío to Atlanta and this was a amazing decision, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom clean and the room was big, we really like it. They have a cool pool to.
I have stayed at this hotel for 8 years, up to 40 days per year and reserves with credit card. I called and confirmed at 9 am Saturday, day of reservation and all was good. I am enroute about an hour away when I stop for gas and check messages. The owner, Hershell Patell, sent an email at 4:11:saying sorry you aren't staying with us. What? I call hotel at 10 pm at night when almost there and ask what the problem is? I'm told credit card was declined. I had fraudulent activity on that card earlier in the month. My reservation went through fine so I didn't know there was a problem. All Mr. Patell had to do was call and get the replacement card number, NOT cancel a reservation for someone he's run a credit card through for 8 years, multiple times per year. I am recovering from three surgeries from breast cancer and looking forward to a relaxing trip. Instead I'm stressed out trying to find a hotel at 11 pm on a Saturday night. No way to treat a long time frequent patron.…
Didn't like my Credit Card being used after I told reservations and the hotel Front Desk not to charge my card and I would pay cash once I got there and you all charged my card anyway before I arrived for that I WILL NOT BE STAYING WITH YOU ALL AGAIN other than that I was pleased with the stay
I was a little hesitant booking with some of the past reviews, but found this hotel clean and comfortable. The way the hotel faces our room was a little dark but we were just there one night. The pool and inside court yard grounds were very well kept and my only complaint was if the pool opens at 9a? Then open the pool, don't start cleaning at 9 with little locks on the gate stopping entry. Again we found our room to be clean, comfortable and newer. The only strange thing is the location right under the Army base air field. Now I don't no if planes come back daily or this was just a special occasion but being large propeller planes, the noise shook the room coming in over head only a few feet off the ground. This did not affect the sleep or evening but it was scary the first time and went on for an hour or 2. Hotel is next to an American diner, Indian restaurant and gas station. Just across the road are a few stores including TJ Maxx and 5below. Other shopping is close by and dowtown is 10 minutes drive. A solid 4 out of 5 …
This motel is DIRTY. And it is not just because it is run-down. Yes, we can understand the rusty fixtures, paint peeling, and scratches on the furniture, because it is an older motel. But the bottom line is that there is little to no housekeeping service in this motel. It seems to be run by a family who is just in over their heads. I stayed with a large group. All the rooms were filthy. Complaints were: blood and fecal stains on comforters, all kinds of random stray hairs in the bathroom, blood stains on walls and furniture, smell of urine and feces stains in the toilet, sketchy people hanging out all around the place during late hours, and a musty mold smell. The only saving grace is that my room was so bad, I asked for a different one and they gave us one. The first room had no hair dryer and no iron, both had been ripped from the wall. And a hole in the bathroom door to accommodate the toilet which was too large for the door to close. I do not believe the blankets are changed between guests, only the sheets. No one in our group had a comfortable stay. Overall, a mess. The only positive was the pool which was actually nice looking--chairs and surroundings not so much. And breakfast which was decent but not great. Stayed 4 nights and got bacon and bland eggs as the hot part every.single.day. And no salt for the eggs (PLEASE!!! Get some salt packets for your guests). And no extra blankets. I am sure the family who runs this place is trying their best, but they really need to hire outside housekeepers because THE ROOMS ARE NOT CLEAN! Best advice to families...avoid!…
