We love this location for its convenience to everything and great price. Had issue with the air but it was resolved the next day. Staff was friendly and the hotel was very clean. Was surprised they charged $35 for an early check-in. Get there early for the continental breakfast because it is not restocked. Overall our stay was great!

Fantastic hotel, 10 min walk to just about everything! The lobby was fun. They had bakery level Continental breakfast each morning, it was delicious! Rooms are nice, bed was so comfortable! Staff were friendly and accommodating! Parking across the street.

I asked if we could check in early at 2:00. Woman at the front desk with earbuds in said we could with a $35 additional fee. Most hotels won't charge if you're a little early but I paid the fee regardless. The oddest thing happened next. I placed my credit card and drivers license on the counter in front of her like I do at every hotel I have ever stayed at. Usually the front desk agent appreciates that I am prepared. After about 30 seconds she gives me an eyeroll and sarcastically says to me "I need your license and credit card." I replied "Oh they are right there on the counter." and I pointed at them. Then she just waited and looked at me for 30 seconds. I had not idea what was happening - so awkward. Finally I say "Do you need me to hand them to you?" She rolled her eyes at me and said "Yes". It was bizarre and left me perplexed days later. In covid times I thought it would be preferrable to not hand ID's to avoid physical contact, but all she had to do was ask and I gladly would have handed them over with a smile. Other than this bizarre experience.... Room and Lobby were nice. Hallways are in need of work but no big deal. Location is a little far from the Historic District, you can walk there if you are up for a little exercise.

I booked a room for 3 with 2 queen beds for our trip to Savannah this past weekend. Travelling with my husband and 79 year old mother (with limited mobility), we arrived at 11pm to find we were given a room with 1 king and no recliner or sleeper sofa. The front desk person told us that I would have to contact Priceline to resolve this. Contacted the Priceline "24/7 help line" and was told my issue was being escalated as the reservation was for 2 queen beds on their end. The escalation agent said to call back in the morning as they couldn't reach the hotel. - My husband wound up sleeping upright in a regular chair and on the floor. - The hotel did not provide extra pillows or extra blanket even as the front desk person stated none were left by housekeeping to provide. - Due to the time of night, my mother's mobility and since Priceline provided no resolution or alternatives the night of the issue we had no choice but to stay the night - I have been calling the hotel to speak to a manager the last 2 days. Day shift says a manager will be there after 3:30 and evening shift says they will be there during the day. Given this experience, I will not book again at this hotel or use Priceline as their customer service is horrendous!

Not close to historic district. Do not recommend night time outings for single female travelers. Housekeeping staff excellent. Make sure your room is not facing Montgomery or near elevators. Loud! Cleveland, Cierra, Diana, and Edna are awesome. Close to DOT.

I've tried many times to contact the corporate office about this hotel, however, no one is responding to me. Since I have not received a response in almost 3 weeks, I will place the entire letter here. I would like to note that I have asked for a partial refund for my stay. To Whom It May Concern, I would like to make a formal complaint regarding the TRYP by Wyndham hotel, located at 320 Montgomery St, Savannah, GA 31401. I booked a reservation for the hotel for June 26, 2022 – July 1, 2022, for a work trip. I experienced an array of issues while staying on the property. First, I would like to say that the hotel employees that are currently with the hotel were extremely generous and considerate. However, I was disappointed in the lack of personnel that was available. There were several instances where the front desk personnel were not available most of the time because they were also responsible for the valet service. Also, upon reserving, I was not notified that the hotel valet would not be available after 11:00 PM. This was extremely inconvenient since I sometimes needed to utilize my vehicle after 11:00 PM and wanted to have a secure place to park my car after hours. It was also inconvenient that I had to request my car for a work-related instance, but no one was available to retrieve it due to the lack of employees available. Another concern was the sometimes lack of professionalism displayed by one of the hotel associates. I’d visited the front desk around 11:00 PM to ask a question, however, I waited for at least 30 minutes before anyone came to assist me and another guest. The phone was continuously ringing, however, there was no one available. After waiting, a front desk associate, who was dressed in a hair bonnet and pajamas, appeared and asked if I needed help. I do not feel that this was representative of a hotel host or hostess. While staying with the hotel, the guests were notified on June 27, 2022, by letter, of a planned power outage that was supposed to occur on June 29, 2022, at approximately 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM. However, on June 28, 2022, at 11:30 AM, I walked back to the hotel to a complete power outage. I’d purchased food for the mini refrigerator before the outage with the hopes that it could be eaten beforehand. I understand that typographical errors happen, however, I feel that it would have been beneficial to let guests know before arriving that the power would be out if it were a planned outage. I’d also like to note that I repeatedly had to request that my room be cleaned and for more towels. As I was staying for 5 days, I noticed that after two days, my room had not been cleaned. After bringing this concern to a front desk associate, I was notified that, due to covid, and staffing shortages, my room would not be cleaned every day. As a courtesy, before booking the reservation, I believe that it would have been more than helpful to know the hotel cleaning stipulations. Overall, I did not enjoy my stay at the TRYP by TRYP by Wyndham in Savannah, GA. I felt that the accommodations were like that of a college dormitory. I did not receive a satisfactory stay. This particular property is too lackluster to stand by the Wyndham name.
