This place is awesome. It is right in the middle of the Historic District. You aren't more than a 15 minute walk from Forsyth Park, Bonaventure Cemetery, the Riverfront, or the East/West ends of town. Only 30-45 minutes from the airport and Tybee Island. The home is beautiful. Owners and staff have done a nice job of keeping the historical charm in tact while providing modern day accommodations. The breakfast, dessert, hors dourves, happy hour, and cookies were delicious. They provide so much food for breakfast. It was incredible. Staff was friendly and helpful. Everything was clean and the service was prompt. We stayed during the week so the rate was more affordable. Even on the weekend, the price is worth it if you take advantage of all of the amenities.
From the moment we arrived, Jordie made us feel at home! First, let me say we stayed a month prior to this at the Gastonian (which is the sister property and also, excellent). I love this location, it is even closer to the historical area and even easier to walk to the river front, eateries and Leopold ice cream. We felt very comfortable even during this time of Covid-19; they took every step to protect theirselves and their guests without it feeling weird. We met 4 other couples, two celebrating their 25th anniversary and one their 50th. Jordie and Jennifer took time to be interested and engaging with their guests, like family and Samantha never let us go with the amenities ... our wine and snacks before dinner and then our dessert and beverage before bed. The cookie on the pillow at turndown, wow ... loved it. Rita, checked in on us and was such a pleasure to get to know. Kiki, breakfast "queen" and Chef C arrived in the mornings to deliver our breakfast on the upper veranda, with that smiling face and bubbling cheer. The ladies who, I am sorry I didn't get their names but they hustled behind the scenes to keep everything clean ... we felt so spoiled to the point that when we left, it was like leaving family after a wonderful visit. We have been telling everyone we know here in Virginia and others, its a must to first go stay at the Kehoe House and second, tour Savannah as a plus. Cannot wait to return …
Fantastic location but more than that was the staff. They were amazing at making us feel like we were home. The check in and check out was smooth and the food & happy hour was Great…Didn’t want to leave.
Don't look any further, beautiful rooms, great chef, evening happy hour, nighttime desserts and cordials, bedtime cookies. You'll be pampered and still the staff will ask what else they can do for you.
Historic home converted into a hotel/bed and breakfast. We stayed in the Oglethorpe room. It was well appointed with a very comfortable bed and great air conditioning. Loved the included breakfast. The chef is fantastic and also prepares light snacks at 5 PM and dessert at 8 PM. Champagne/wine is included at these times as well as Port after 8 PM until 10 PM. The staff are very accommodating and friendly. Included parking is at a private lot 1 1/2 blocks away Met lots of fellow guests. Short walk to anywhere in the historic/downtown district.
Don the night attendant really made our stay wonderful. He was extremely attentive to our needs. He definitely went the extra mile with exquisite customer service. He made us feel at home. I will ONLY stay at the Kehoe because of his excellent service. I felt at home here and will definitely be back.
Everyone that worked there went above and beyond to help make our visit the best it could be! The only complaint I would have would be to tell the ghosts to leave me alone so I could sleep better, but they couldn't help me with that! lol!
Everything exceeded expectations: the staff, afternoon hors d'oeuvres, evening wine, the comfort and beauty of the room, morning breakfast, overall assistance during the stay. Kehoe House made our anniversary a memorable one.
We had a wonderful time. The hotel was romantic... the staff was friendly... the food was excellent. We had a very romantic 25th wedding anniversary vacation.... we will definitely be back. The cookies and treats every night were especially wonderful....
We visited Savannah for the first time. What an amazing city. We also loved how close Tybee Island was to downtown. Kehoe House was the perfect location to stay. Everyone was wonderful. The home was emaculate and food was delicious. Happy hour and evening dessert were a fun treat to look forward to each evening as well. We would love to visit again soon.
