We are Diamond HH members. There were no parking spaces for Diamond members. We were not greeted by name or acknowledged as HH members. The only thing the check in clerk said was parking is $10 & if we needed to use the shuttle to call Terry Love. We inquired about the messages we’ve been receiving for a week about $15 each resort credit. We were told we could use it the day of check in only at the bar. We only stayed 1 night (thank goodness). After going out for dinner we stopped by the bar to buy a bottle of wine with our resort credit. We checked out via the HH app like we always do at 9:30am. We stopped by the front desk to drop off our keys. The clerk said “oh you checked out too early, your credit has not been adjusted off yet.” She then stated when her manager finished what she was doing she would have her make the adjustment. 30 hours later we still have not received the credit. I don’t believe we will. I hope the Hilton Corp. are aware of this kind of treatment to their loyal customers. The only kind & helpful people at this place was Terry Love, shuttle driver, and the girl at the bar. With all of the other Hilton family hotels in the historic area we will NEVER stay here again. Do not recommend. Choose another location for kind treatment and closer to restaurants and the historic area…
We had an amazing experience at the Bluff: --Friendly and welcoming staff, ( shout out to Candi at Front Desk ) always willing to advise on local dining, attractions, etc. --Free daily breakfast--key! And staff was friendly and accommodating --Free shuttle 5pm--10pm, for drop off and pick up anywhere in Historic District . Seriously, I've never seen this option offered. HUGE shoutout to Laquisha, who was so helpful, pleasant, and always arrived so quickly. So beyond our expectations ! --Onsite bar with great bartender. I forget his name, but he was outstanding and had great recommendations of places to see. It was really nice to have the onsite bar, to relax with a drink after a busy day. We met several nice fellow travelers. The Bluff's amenities put it far above the competition.…
We spent 3 nights at the Bluff Hilton Savannah. Gorgeous hotel; nice tall ceilings. Had a wonderful nightcap two of our nights with the lovely Valeriaa bartender. She takes such care in crafting you a drink and is a pleasure to talk to .
We were extremely happy with our stay at The Bluff as the service was excellent. It been such a long time since we've been greeted by a genuinely happy person at the front desk. Yale was so pleasant to talk to. We had drinks at the bar and couldn't have been happier with the service. We would happily go back.
The Bluff is a nice hotel for a few days stay. It’s a little further from the river shopping and restaurant area, but an easy walk. The front desk staff during the day was great and always helpful. We didn’t have housekeeping, which was fine, but the coffee pods were only provided a few at a time which meant we had to ask for them daily. The hot breakfast was average, but plentiful and also offered fruit and yogurt. The highlight of the hotel is TerriLove who drives the shuttle van, we rode with her numerous times and she was always accessible, pleasant and provided information about the area. She is awesome and we looked forward to seeing her on our rides to restaurants and back.
This was our first trip to Savannah, and since we're Hilton Honors Members we booked The Bluffs. Could it have been closer to the Historic District yes, but it was walkable to wherever you wanted to go. They also offered a free shuttle that would drop you off and pick you up if you didn't want to walk. Terry Love was the shuttle driver, and she was awesome. Very personable, gave recommendations where to go and what to see. Our only complaint was breakfast. Limited healthy options to choose from.
Great hotel, room was clean and very comfortable. The location was perfect and i loved the bikes you can ride around town. The bar had a great atmosphere and was inviting and the cocktails hit the spot. Parking is always a challenge in Savannah but they had plenty of room and it's cheap.
The hotel was very clean. The size of the rooms is very nice and comfortable. In a convenient location if you enjoy walking! Just a few minutes' walk from River Street and the Trolly. I would stay there again!!
Beautiful hotel on the inside. Rooms are clean and smell very fresh. Continental breakfast was very good. The outside of the hotel looks older but it was a great stay in very close to the Riverwalk. Nice
Firstly, I would like to say that the actual hotel is really nice. We were caught by surprise when entering our hotel room, as before arriving there I had told my wife that we should lower our expectations when visiting this hotel as it's not a luxury hotel that we are used to. That being said, the interior design was much better than we had anticipated. When entering the hotel, we weren't greeted by anyone, wasn't really a big deal. They did give us a bag full of water and snacks for being a diamond member. Normally though, we would be given a list of benefits available to us at the hotel such as food and beverage credits, or late check out. We were not given anything. So we weren't exactly sure what benefits we could use at the hotel. Later that night, I went to the hotel lobby to ask if the hotel honored the food and beverage credits, he says that there would be a note in the system if we had the credits. He looked up our hotel room and no note was taken, but he did see our status and decided to give us $15 in food and beverage credits. Normally we were given credits per person, but I let it slide as the only place we could use the credit in the hotel was drinking at the bar. Neither of us drink, but decided to use the credit anyway for 2 beers and a nice chat with the people at the bar. The next morning I went down to get the complimentary breakfast for me and my wife and I will say, this was probably the worst breakfast we've ever had. And not really many options available either. Waffles, Eggs, Bacon and some pastries. Honestly, I would have ranked the breakfast higher than a 2 out of 5 stars had the waffles saved the day. Unfortunately, the waffles were soggy and not really enjoyable. The drink options were Apple Juice, Orange Juice and Milk, we went with the apple juice. After our breakfast, we were preparing to head out to Tybee Island for the beach, and then return by 2pm. We had hoped of getting approved for late checkout. Unfortunately, before heading out, I asked whether or not we could get a 2pm late checkout and was denied due to him wanting to have guest out by 11am. This was the only reason given, and was actually the first time we were ever denied late checkout. Now, I understand that we are not obligated to late checkout, it was just very unfortunate as we planned on visiting the beach and coming back for a shower before heading back home. Overall, I would give customer service a 3 out of 5, Breakfast a 2 out of 5, Cleanliness, Comfort and Design a 4 out of 5. If we ever find ourselves back in Savannah, GA. We most likely will not staying at this hotel.…
