Room looked nice, clean, pretty comfortable. The hotel had a kinda funky smell though. The room doors close VERY loudly, during the night you can hear every time someone comes in and out of their rooms. They do accept pets with a deposit AND a nightly fee. The front desk lady had a bit of an unnecessary attitude. Overall, I was decently impressed with this Super 8 compared to the several others I’ve been to.
If you're looking for a decent stay, this is the place. It could use a few touch ups, but it was still decent. I don't know about the breakfast, but we did wake up late. The lobby isn't exactly as b pictured, but the staff were friendly.
A 2-1/2 star hotel priced like a 4-star one. Property is conveniently located nearby I-95 and has ample parking available (even late at night). Well lit and feel secure. This building was remodeled about 4 years ago so it doesn't look too dated, however is already starting to show some wear. Rooms are large and comfortable. The amenities are near to zero and breakfast is very limited and of poor quality (although keeping in mind this is a Super 8 property so don't expect a full course breakfast buffet), so we always go to Cracker Barrel when checking out for that. My only complaint is that this isn't a property that deserves that nightly price. Unfortunately after Covid seems like every property owner is taking advantage of a price surge and this one is not exception. There used to be a heft $80/night price difference between this property and much better hotels which now is less than $25/night. This is a place to just arrive late a night, sleep and go in the morning. So it feels a waste of money to me. I've been staying at this particular one for no less than 5 years in a row and with an average of 4-6 stays per year so I can see and feel the difference.…
I think this place was recently renovated. Everything is clean and bright. The bed is comfortable and the rooms are spacious. We always get a king room with a couch. It’s dog friendly too. It’s just off i95 Savannah GA. We travel twice a year from Fla to N GA. This is our new stop over.
Nice stay at Savannah. Good value at current prices. Clean and comfortable. Continental breakfast is just OK. Staff was nice and the property is well maintained. I would stay there again and recommend this place to others.
Unfortunately, the walls are paper thin. Pets are allowed, and one dog barked many hours into the night. On top of that, though my own room's air conditioner was off, the air conditioner thrum throughout the facility was so loud and obtrusive, it woke me up a couple of times. Thankfully, I realized I had earplugs in my bag. The most unpleasant thing, however, was the rudeness and negativity of the unhappy men who seemed to be the managers or owners. It's possible it's a cultural problem against small women of color like me. I won't be returning.
Rooms were clean, quiet. No complaints here. Staff was cordial and helpful. Hard to find a parking space but they were booked, they had carts for luggage though. Didn't eat breakfast so cant speak to that but would stay there again.
Hotel needs upgrading. Thicker blankets for the bed. Rooms are cold whenever air is on blows directly on bed. But offer decent cheap hotel for the area and safe. Looks like it is a family owned business.
Owner was very helpful when I called the day before. We had 4 rooms since our Air BnB was cancelled. We were greeted upon arrival. Hotel has been remodeled some and a new couch was placed in our room upon arrival. Everyone was very friendly. Bed comfortable and room spacious.
The beds were comfortable and the rooms very spacious. Everything was very nice. A very basic breakfast in the morning. The area was full of dining choices and not far from Savannah. I great place to spend a day or two....
