So after driving 10+ hours from New Jersey as a stop gap to Orlando I booked 2 rooms one for me and my wife and one for my daughter...as it was $20+ bucks cheaper than the other hotels...I figured how bad could it be....Check in was very confusing...a customer who already checked in complained they could not shut off AC and it was freezing in room....they I believe were trying to shut off old unit instead of thermostat on wall...This threw the two check in workers into a tizzy and all check ins stopped and it took 2 of them to move people to a new room instead of asking did they use the thermostat to shut off....Rooms do have a smell....Towels are very small...Im 5'10 -210 pounds and it barely got around me...my wife and daughter said same thing...showers seemed old and not very clean.....Breakfeast was cereal, microwavable Sausage Egg Cheese crossaintss....they did have a pancake maker 2 at a time but very small...did have bread...and very small coffee cakes in a wrapper...and hard boiled egg that my wife after cutting into did not eat.....I found the managers to be very loud in the morning and hawking in the hall waiting to clean the rooms.....maybe compared to the hotel 8 behind it and the other cheap hotel in the front of it...it maybe the best of the 3 but I would not recommend this hotel....sorry now I did not spend the extra 20....the room was not bad decent bed, floor, spacious...but it was just very funky and sorry I had to grade it this way. Pool was very small....I used the gym...bike seemed a tad unstable....no towels in gym...old dumbbells....I was the first one in the lobby for breakfast and they had Fox News on (it is the south so I understand) I asked for remote and was told I could change channel but was asked kindly to put Ch 24 as Fox should be on....Im shocked as the manager are of Indian decent but I guess knowing where they reside they must have it on.…
Lobby had a weird smell. The breakfast was not what was advertised. When we got to the room I always look around and first thing I saw was a dead bug. Bedding was not clean it felt like the reused the sheets. That night before bed we found a few live bugs and there was water bugs in the shower. I felt dirtier after the shower. I would not recommend this place.
There were bugs in the room. A bug that looked like a cockroach crawled behind the lamp and there were smalls bug that looked like they could be bed bugs crawling all over the bathroom floor. When we told the front desk there were bugs he was not shocked and did not at all looked surprised and instead said they had just sprayed and what did we expect as it is the south.
Facility was dirty, not well kept, missig upgrades. Carpet in enterance was a trip and fall ready to happen. Worst of all I was given the key to an occupied suite with couple in the room. Fornunately, they were just sitting and talking. They became irate with management. i then asked to cancel and was refuse even when it was withing the window of cancelation per policy. I arrived before check in which was 3PM. Policy gives until 4PM to cancel with pentaly. The manager gave me some nonsense that she would not be abe to remove the charge from my credit card. Never stay here.
I do not understand why I was charged $70 for an internet booking Seems like being a rewards member did not pay off when I booked the room. Seems like excessive fees were charged to my credit card when I was a Wyndham rewards customer
Very impersonal staff. Not as clean as it should be by any standard of rooms especially with this name attached "Wyndham". Do not be deceived by the name and outward appearance of the place. We had half used lotions cleaned our on bathroom before use and asked for a clean pillow case to only get a black smudged one back. It was apparent the young lady at the desk was inconvenced and I would leave a name but never got one and no name tags throughout the staff.
Excellent accommodations at a reasonable price. The front staff was friendly and efficient. My room was clean and fresh w/ very comfortable beds. Good breakfast. Be sure to try out their pancake machine. Highly recommend!!
We are Wyndham members so try to stop when we can visiting family in FL. We've stayed here before last year, then again on way up and back in June visiting family. It's a nice place to stay, with breakfast area in morning, pancakes were good. King room on 3rd floor nice, 2nd floor on way up was smaller but nice too. Tubs just need re-caulking or whatever - older but nice for 1 night and we felt like a safe place to stay. A few food places near by to eat if hungry. Front desk was quick and helpful. couple of very pleasant ladies was helping with pancake machine and guidance (think worked there) would stay here again. If you are a light sleeper though, you can hear some noise from room above (mainly a kid running) no biggie at all. nice place
Book with AAA it's less expensive! Exorbitant fees otherwise. This place is right next to the highway(95N) Exit 95. Three floors, over 100 rooms. seemed to be owned by Indian Fa. (friendly) As most of their employees are.
Got tired on the road and needed a place to rest. I found it here. Got what I needed. Wasn’t looking for fancy or high tech. Just a clean room and a comfortable bed. I got it, and for a good price.Next time I’m in this area, I know we will have a place to stay.
