Location, location, location. This Courtyard is a nice hotel - quite a bit more so than some other Courtyards I've stayed at - but nothing really to right home about. What sets it a part is its stellar location. You are short walk from all of Philly's sport venues. I was in town for the 76ers/Warriors game, and it was a nice stroll on a cold evening to the entry and back. It's not that the property is bad or that service is sub-par, because neither is the case. It's just that location above all else is the selling factor here. If you can get a night at a decent price when attending event in the area, don't think twice about booking. DO IT.
I was surprised at how nice this hotel was. The moment you walk in you are greeted with a fresh and clean smell (like that Moist Towelette smell, which I happen to enjoy) and a friendly greeting from the front desk staff. We stayed in a king room which was clean and spacious. It is a very convenient location if you plan to catch a game or concert at the stadium. The hotel had snacks and beverages for sale and Bistro if you want something more than chips. The Bistro was a neat hang out spot. If I end up staying in Philadelphia again, this will be my hotel of choice.
We drove from Connecticut for the John Mayer concert at the Wells Fargo Center. This hotel is perfectly fine, and a short walk -- even on a very chilly night -- to the sports complex. And it's right off the highway, I-95, and the nearby Gatehouse restaurant is wonderful. Just perfect for any of the three stadiums.
We stayed here after a Wings game and would stay here again. Bed is very comfortable, friendly front desk, great food from the bistro. Conveniently located near the Wells Fargo center, Lincoln Financial field and the Navy yard.
This looks like a nice place to stay but they need a little help in the $$ part. First they charge a credit card fee ( who pays cash). I expect to pay a little more for a soda but $3.50, candy bar $3.50, parking $20.00 a day and breakfast $17.00 and doesn't start until 6:30 and no microwave in the room, a cup of coffe on the way out the door was $2.30. I know COVID has made thing more expensive but lets get real.On the up side the room was nice and the Staff was very pleasant.
