I am a very hard to please person and have recently had unpleasant experiences with customer service through a couple companies. I thought that all-star American service was only available to the elite. The CQ hotel changed that as soon as my wife and I entered the building. I was greeted with smiles, seemingly understanding of the traffic nightmare we just escaped. It was very clean, (of course, as a hotel should be) but there was something else: the small personal touches that make it feel like home. There was free courtesy coffee, and filtered water available 24 hours a day. There was filtered water stations on every floor with plastic resealable bottles for you to take. In the mornings, I wasn’t disturbed with annoying phone calls from the front desk or knocking at the door from housekeeping, But as I returned each afternoon my room was cleaned to perfection! Even coming in at night, the building is secure, in which you enter the front door using a separate door key made to get into the hotel, so you feel safe. The staff.... the staff! There are four people I will never forget to the kudos are due. Marquise, Mark, Milton (all M’s for MARVELOUS!) and our anonymous cleaning woman (who overheard I like extra sugar with my personal coffee maker and saw to it my wish was fulfilled when she prepared my room. (10th Floor😀) Finally, even on check out day, they weren’t ‘rushing us out’ or pressuring us to get another night, as a lot of hotels do. For these reasons I have chosen to make this my home away from home when In Philadelphia or surrounding areas. Don’t believe this review. Do the research and find out for yourself.

My wife and I recently stayed at The Club Quarter's on 16th & Chestnut in Philadelphia, Pa. Our check in was very simple and uneventful, we had to put $50.00 USD on hold for security or damage to the room. The Hotel has a nice Restaurant in the Lobby area, along with a Coffee Shop. The Room was very clean and Plush it was a small room, but for One night it was great. Coffee maker was in the room, and everything was Handicapped Accessible.

A TV and Radio, & Wifi are also in the Room. We Booked on Expedia 2 Month's in advance for about $140.00 USD per night. The Hotel is across the Street from Liberty Place and it's 57th floor Observation Deck of the City, $14.95 USD. The Buses do run East Bound in front of the Hotel, & go pass Independence Hall, The Liberty Bell and The Constitution Center. The Hotel is in a Great Location, in the Middle of everything !

We stayed at club quarters in Philly for our first post pandemic trip. The staff was nice, but the building and room was a bit dated. The rooms were pretty small and furniture looked old. They don't offer a breakfast, but had free filtered water stations with bottles on each floor. The best thing going for this property is that it's in the heart of center city Philadelphia, close to shopping, restaurants, entertainment, and we booked at a pretty good price for it's location. It is a decent property, and we would most likely book again

It was one of the best hotel experience in my life. I arrived in Philly around 6 am. So I asked to stay in the hotel hall for a while, just to keep warm my body. Henry, the employee has been very kind, he offered me to stay on comfortable sofas and gave the Wifi access just to keep some informations about the Philly tour. The room are very tidy and clean, everything was perfect. The price for one room is very competitive and they offer a very practice and unbelievable treatment.

Is just 5 minutes or less by walk from the city center.

I was visiting philly to see some family and wanted to stay in a hotel to keep my distance from everyone. The location was perfect and check in and out was easy and efficient. Bed was super comfy and there was hand sanitizer available at multiple locations throughout the hotel. Great value for price.

We had the largest room with a kitchenette on the 7th floor. It was very quiet. It had a very small pull out couch, that was a little wider then a twin size bed. It was ok for our family with two younger children. The lobby had snacks and drinks on the Thursday we arrived, however during the weekend they only offered coffee. I loved the complimentary refillable water bottles on our floor. That was a nice touch. We had to ask for a few extra towels and pillows on the first night because the room only had enough for two people. The heater worked great. We had a large flatscreen tv with a lot of channels and free wifi. The location was amazing with shops and restaurants all around. We walked everywhere including the liberty bell, love park, Franklin Institute, and more. Make sure to have dinner reservations in advance if you want to go to a sit down restaurant. We also found out that the US Mint isn’t opened on the weekend. If you are staying on a weekend there is a cheaper parking garage for $7 a night. We had a wonderful time.

As the title suggests, the best part about this hotel was its proximity to the downtown area and popular tourist sites. Other than that, CQ seems like the budget option for business travelers: hotel ambience was classy but the rooms had few amenities and were very small. I think if you go to normal chains like Best Western or Holiday Inn, you may have to pay more but also you’d get more for your money (larger room, better in-room amenities, free breakfast, etc).

I stayed at the CQ Hotel in Philly for two nights in December 2021. The hotel is in a fabulous location on Chestnut Street for a weekend exploring the city, with a nice lobby and comfortable rooms. However I think the price is quite high for the size of my room (a Club Room with 1 Queen Bed on 9th Floor) which was US$160 (GB£125) per night on a room only rate. The hotel offers reusable bottles and water to guests, a great eco-friendly idea. There are plenty of places to shop, eat and drink within a few steps of the hotel's door. There is also a Rite-Aid just a couple of doors down the street from the hotel which was very convenient for drinks and snacks. I left my bags at the reception on check-out while I explored the City a bit more and everything was well taken care of. I would certainly recommend this hotel to other travellers looking for a Philadelphia city break.

I am 8 months pregnant and looking for some me time so I initially booked the club room. Once checked in I noticed that particular room does not come with a tub so I requested to upgrade my room. The front desk personnel, Milton was so very kind to give me the upgrade free of charge! Thank you Milton!

The location is close to a magnificant city hall building and easy and safe walking distance to restaurants. The cheapest room was plenty big for one person and I was pleasantly surprised. Staff was friendly. I ate out, but there is a pricy restaurant inside the hotel. Roughly $20 UBER ride one way to and from the airport.
