The list of complaints is entirely too long to write out. But at the top would be the way the staff dismissive about my concerns. There are many places to stay in Philly, I would suggest picking somewhere else. The building is cool, but that is about the only good thing I can say.

My wife and I are travel agents and like to share our experiences with clients. Our advice for this hotel is to stay down the street at Best Western or Holiday Inn. First, they gave is keys that didn't work so we had to go get new keys. We get into the room and try to open the blinds, but they don't work. We broke the chain trying to get them open. Went to the bathroom. There appeared to be a poop stain on top of the seat and urine drops under the seat. After I went to the bathroom, I tried to flush the toilet. That didn't work because, after all, number 1 should clog up a toilet. We called the front desk, who was very nice. She kept this from being a 1-star. I am assuming it was security that brought up the key. As soon as he showed up we about got knocked over by the odor of marijuana. I had to drop to a one-star review after spending 65 a night for overnight parking. Someone tried to break into my truck. No one can get me answers or even follow up after I ask three valet folks who said they were talking to the supervisor and looking at the video. No update, after hotel management and valet management said they would investigate and get back to us no one has.

The hotel is dated and not very clean. There were cobwebs all over the room and also in the lobby. The linens and bedding were threadbare and ripped. Unknown stains/stickiness on the furniture and just shabby in general. I waited 10 minutes for shower to heat up, it never did so I took a cold shower. The curtains did not close all of the way. Rooms are extremely dark. Probably the worst Marriott I’ve ever stayed at. The also charged me three and an incidental hold (which would have been fine if they told me in advance). They said it could take 5 days for the charges to drop.

Went to dining room for breakfast but no cook was there. The waitress, Tania, and the Food Service Manager, Marissa, were there. Marissa went into the kitchen and made my breakfast. Tania supplied me with plenty of coffee and offered me fruit while I was waiting. These two wonderful employees turned what could have been a poor experience into a very positive one. They comped my breakfast and thanked me for my patience.

Le Méridien Philadelphia is a very nice hotel located in the heart of downtown Philadelphia, just one block from City Hall. The hotel was restored 20 years ago (circa 2003). It served for many years as a YMCA. I was greeted by the hotel staff immediately upon entering the check in area. As a Platinum Marriott Bonvoy member I was eligible for a room upgrade (when available) and was offered a premium room with a City Hall view. My room was at the end of the hall and very quiet. The large room was well appointed with modern and stylish furniture, what you would expect at Le Meridien brand. The bathroom was clean and bright and had re-fillable, large, pump toiletries - something I have come to expect from a higher end hotel brand. The shower head was fairly basic but did the job. The bed linens were excellent and a high-quality cotton that slept very comfortably. The pillows that were supplied with the room were descent. There was a mixture of foam and feather. Unfortunately, after asking 3 times to the hotel front desk for extra pillows (twice via the mobile app and one call) I never received them. The next day I finally got a reply to my second text message apologizing for not delivering the pillows. I would have rather had the pillows! Overall, I was very satisfied with this hotel and will rate is with 5-stars.

My friends and I decided to go on a little trip to Philadelphia and we were looking for hotels. We came across this hotel and one of the workers named Sovanna, she made the night the best night ever! She’s so positive, energetic, lovely, great communication, great customer service! 10/10! The rooms were nice and comfy and the view was excellent. Out of all this hotel is a 10/10, great customer service and excellent rooms. Thank you to the hotel and Sovanna for making this experience unforgettable!

My husband and I were scheduled to check in today at the Meridien but instead had a positive COVID test. Luckily, I called the front desk of the hotel and Vikki answered. She could not have been more understanding. She cancelled our reservation and waived the fee since nobody wants us in the hotel. I will absolutely stay at this hotel when I return to Philadelphia due to the kind concern shown by Vikki and her quick resolution to our problem.

We’ve stayed at Le Meridien several times for the Philadelphia Marathon. It’s been a pleasant experience, and a great location. In particular, front desk supervisor Saketa has been super responsive and helpful!
