Booked Penn’s View from a friend’s referral. 2 rooms. Very good price for MDW. In town for NCAA Men’s Lacrosse championships. Wanted Old City location. Pros: National Historic Register. Friendly welcome from front desk. Restaurant attached. Coffee and muffins in the lobby in the morning. Good size rooms. Good A/C. Main entrance locks at 12AM. Key will not get you in - ring bell and show key to be let in. Premier Queen has French doors to terrace (no view), wing back guest chair, gas fireplace, big bathroom with soaking tub. Comfortable bed. Good number of outlets including a USB port in a lamp on the desk. Standard queen was good sized, smaller bathroom with shower stall, terrace (can’t stand on it). Not much Hallway noise. Easy on and off 95. Cons: parking. Lot next door is not affiliated with the hotel but is right next door. 2 times I had to back out of the entrance because the ticket didn’t dispense or the lot was “full” (it wasn’t) and staff had gone home. Found another outdoor lot down Front St. Smell of weed in the hallways. Room has actual keys which have to be used to lock the room every time you leave. Blinds on the terrace doors block little light. Highway noise is pretty loud…all night - bring ear plugs. TV is small flat screen. No coffee maker, no fridge. 1 night stand only. Panorama Wine Bar is connected to hotel and was delicious.

We stayed here for graduation festivities. The room and bathroom was large and clean and comfortable. The front desk clerk was very helpful and friendly. Pros and cons to the location -- away from downtown, so it's a 33+ block walk to Penn . But that also means it's a cleaner area of the city and still near wonderful restaurants. Near a major thoroughfare so it can be noisy during traffic hours. I would stay here again vs a downtown or midtown hotel. I found a nearby covered, safe, self-park garage for about $26 per day.

Location is perfect, right near Penns Landing- lots of restaurant choices (visit Shane for some chocolates!), close to all major sites. Easy to get an Uber if you want to visit Magic Garden (must see). There is some noise from the highway but it’s not terrible- you are in a big city so expect traffic noise. Great view of the Ben Franklin Bridge. The decor is reminiscent of colonial era, beds are so comfortable, great shower pressure. Breakfast is minimal- coffee and muffins. Parking at the adjacent lot is $30 for overnights stay. Highly recommend.

Loved this hotel! Neat, clean, beautiful bathroom, wonderful bed and so close to all the sights. The staff were so helpful and explained the town to us (as guests from overseas we didn't know the significance of Philadelphia in US history). The fresh coffee and muffins in the mornings were also a big plus.

Great location and great staff. Antonio couldn’t be more attentive to guests needs. Housekeeping was spot on. The building and rooms are older but in great shape and furnished beautifully with modern conveniences while keeping the flavor of the historic building. The wine bar on premises is spectacular We will definitely be back. Thank you Antonio you made our trip.

We love this hotel! The staff is exceptionally kind and accommodating. The rooms are beautiful, the food is amazing (some of the best Italian food we've had was in the hotel's restaurant), and it's located in one of the best parts of Old Philly. The only reasons why I didn't give it five stars were that the furniture, especially our mattress, is quite old and the parking was a little tough to maneuver (the parking lot next to the hotel is independent and doesn't offer 24-hour deals or discounts for hotel guests). We certainly look forward to coming back over the summer!

This hotel was conveniently located within walking distance to many historic sites. It was clean and quiet with a quaint, historic charm. Shower pressure was adequate and the bed was comfortable. We didn't have occasion to eat at the hotel restaurant, but there were many dining options close by, including the ice cream shop across the street. Staff was efficient and friendly. While the website says there is a fitness facility, it was quite dated and had no treadmill. Also be aware there appeared to be no vending machine on the premises for late night colas or snacks, so bring your own.

The Hotel was well above everything we expected. We were able to check in early and was quick and easy. Room was very nice and roomy with nice sized bathroom and fireplace. Location close to Penn's landing and Market St. On site restaurant food and wine were excellent.

On arrival was very concerned that a main road just outside the hotel but to be honest didn’t notice traffic noise as it turned out to be a turning area for buses. The building is part of historical Philadelphia and very quirky. If you into architecture and history you will appreciate this building. No breakfast facilities but from 6am coffee and muffins available at reception. There is an Italian restaurant and bar within restaurant which was busy every night though we didn’t eat in it. The hotel is ideally situated to visit tourist areas of Philadelphia and can easily walk to many bars and restaurants. Staff are very helpful recommending places to eat. Free luggage storage
