Overall a excellent place to stay with an ideal location regarding accessibility on the mountain. Beautiful views. Manny works for Juniper and he was extremely helpful and followed up after resolving our issue. Issues are with the kitchen equipment. 9 out of 10 of the pans/pots were unusable. The ovens (I stayed in 2 rooms) smoked when you turned them on. No cleaning solution to wipe the kitchen counters, hand soap at the kitchen sink. If it was for these items I would have given 5 stars
Our stay at the hotel was very memorable with hiking, enjoying the lakes, enjoying great hospitality with the workers at the resort. Our room had a gorgeous view of the mountains and trees. But what made it so heartfelt for us is the kindness, friendly personality of Jennifer in the resort café. She made us feel at home. And for that reason, we want to come back to this beautiful resort.
Juniper Springs Resort is great place to stay in Mammoth. The proximity to the mountain is its best feature - truly ski-in/ski-out. The underground parking and ski lockers are other nice amenities. My family and I have stayed here a handful of times over the past few years. Some of the rooms are in better condition/more recently updated than others, which is to be expected when each unit is individually owned. On a previous visit we were disappointed with our room (especially at the price point), but the room we got for this visit was excellent. The service is generally very good. Definitely would return to Juniper.
Great location: Very short Walking distance to eagle express chair lift, eagle lodge and eagle rentals. Public transit stops right in front of hotel and can take you anywhere important. Hotel shuttle called MAWS can take you anywhere you ask and pick you up for free! I just tip them. room: I got the 1 bedroom with pull out sofa with full kitche and balcony. Fantastic, and relatively updated. I cooked breakfast easily for a fam of four. Hotel amenities: Heated pool and hot jacuzzi great. Storage lockers for your skis and boards secure with code and can fit about 3 boards and 3 skis in each locker , each locker specified per room . Lockers are on the first floor. Gym small but useful. Ski and board rentals are in house too but DO NOT use them. Go somewhere else please. It took one lonely employee 1 hour and 45 min to help us out with our gear reservation . Only 7 ppl were ahead of us. Parking: Lotsa parking avail. Big trucks and suvs have special oversized parking. Electric vehicle - 4 tesla destination chargers. 1 non-tesla j1772 charger. If you go here with an electric vehicle buy the Lectron tesla to j1772 adapter so that you have options when the non-tesla J1772 charger is busy with another car. Trust me - the Lectron adapter works well giving you about 35 miles per hour. Snow was good this week and the constant snow storms didn’t stop us from having fun even though they had to shut down a lotta lifts sometimes. It was expensive about $850/night. But it’s high season. And you’re paying for a nice room and a short walk to the lift. This is better than Westin Monache in my opinion. Better kitchen and closer to lift. I would stay here again, but get my rentals elsewhere.…
We stay at the Juniper Springs a lot. We love it. This review is about the wonderful housekeeping staff. Santa and Flora came to clean our room mid stay and they were so friendly and sweet and caring- kept asking if we needed anything. They refilled our soap, towels and dishwashing liquid. They cleaned the bathroom as if we were just checking in- it was spotless when they were finished with our room. They are very hard workers. I don’t feel the housekeeping staff gets enough credit sometimes. Santa and Flora were wonderful and made our stay more enjoyable
My family of 5 stayed here for 4 days during the holiday break and had a pleasant rime at the resort. Although the place was at full capacity and had lots of activities going on, in preparation for the crowds and storm, the staff were all courteous, accommodating and had a smile. Every staff we came across in the hallway, lobby, elevator and front desk greeted us and seemed appreciative of our stay as their guests. The resort was always clean, including their locker rooms, parking lots and amenities. The 2 bedroom condo we stayed in was clean, cozy, warm and updated. Sergio Moreno (the General Manager) is always on top of things and exemplifies customer service and exceptional operations and maintenance of the facility and services the resort offers. This quality is also reflected amongst his staff. We will always try to stay at this resort when we have the opportunity. …
My family of 4 has stayed at Juniper Springs Resort twice a year for the last several years. They are so helpful and knowledgable, and aim to make your stay the best it can be. They are always so responsive, in particular Nicole, who has gone above and beyond to fulfill our requests. The entire staff makes a concerted effort to make sure you have a great stay. The location of the property cannot be beat, with ski on, ski off access. We will look forward to our next visit!
We had excellent people at the front desk help us during our stay. Denzel m, khan and Cody were extremely helpful , the room is decent and has a great view. It’s ski in ski out as well and hot tubs are very nice and clean. Defiantly worth a look if you are heading to mammoth
Our best year yet at Juniper Springs Resort with great snow and Eagle Lodge open for skiing for the first time in all our years going there! We were there for the entirety of the Thanksgiving week! With Juniper, it's always a top-notch visit because it feels like you're home. The team that includes Sergio Moreno and Luis Villanueva run a tight ship. The front desk was always responsive to our needs, the unit was an awesome two bedroom, two bath with a view of the ski lift. The weather was perfect for skiing with no lines and a smooth rental service thanks to great folks like Josh and Marty over at Eagle Lodge Rentals. Eddie and his housekeeping team were also super helpful and always around at just the right time. Our family always feels at home here. We even had a situation where one of our family members got stuck on the mountain and Allister was right there with his snowmobile to help us out! We highly recommend the property for easy ski access, spacious rooms with great views, quick trips down to Old Mammoth Road and the Vons there, and lesser crowds when compared to skiing at the top of the mountain. Overall awesome experience! Thanks Juniper. We will be back soon!…
