Do not ever believe the good reviews here. Not so polite staff, the old smelly room that we got cause some pipes in the hotel was broken so they downgraded us into a twin double bedroom. Thanks for the free breakfast btw. At midnight while we are asleep someone is banging our

If you're expecting accommodations matching those of rooms costing 4 and 5 times more you will be disappointed but if it's basic sleeping quarters you need this will fit the bill. My room was very clean, the halls a little less so but no where near as bad as some of the reviews

Booked for a three night stay. Upon arrival at 19h00, we were given a room with a king size bed but immediately returned to the front desk upon realizing it was adjacent to the elevator which was EXTREMELY noisy. Not noisy due to the people traffic but noisy due to the

We were there end of January this year, Yes, they do have air conditioning, either the heater but we didn't use it, in fact we opened our window even though it was freezing outside.

We were there for five nights and paid about £137 dollars in total. We did get the New York bus pass which was really good. Be aware that if like us you buy a two day pass the bus is only included for one day and you have to pay extra for the second day. If visiting the Statue of Liberty make it the first visit of the day because the last ferry over is 15.15 and it’s a few hours trip. Hope that’s helpful.

It’s not necessary to use such language. We loved this hotel and found every staff member very accommodating. Go and pay 2-5x more somewhere else. For the price point we thought it was better than we expected! Maybe you came across as what you described. Travel much?
