The check-in experience was terrific. The room was ready early with an upgrade. How could we not be on the right track. Since we were in the room, we settled and headed to the bar for an early cocktail.
For a promotional rate of only $199/night offered on TravelZoo, enjoyed a great stay at the Parker New York. Consistent with most other reviews, found this well located hotel just a block south of Central Park to be friendly, clean and well run. Our room...More

We had a great stay at the Parker Hotel in NYC. Great location (one block to Central Park, a block to 5th Avenue, and theatres and restaurants all walkable). They upgraded us to a junior suite, which was great - definitely larger room than usual...More
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.
