Great boutique hotel in well-located area. Very friendly , helpful staff. The second floor lounge was a nice bonus. Coffee, fruit, yogurt, sodas, sweets….. all fresh and nicely presented. This was our second stay here. It won’t be our last.

Stayed here for 4 days recently based on reviews here on TripAdvisor. It did not disappoint. We had a king suite for my wife, teen daughter and myself and did not feel cramped. The 2nd floor lounge is a great feature as it is quiet, spacious and well stocked with snacks and refreshments. Hotel is close to many mid town attractions. The staff was capable and friendly. I will stay here on future trips to the city.

The staff was incredible! They reached out prior to our arrival to identify opportunities to improve our stay with help with reservations/tickets. When we had an issue with the air conditioner, they made accommodations to help resolve the issue quickly. In addition, the hospitality room was a very nice touch and much appreciated for having an opportunity for a drink/snack when necessary. Overall, we had a great stay and would highly recommend Hotel Elysee to anyone visiting New York.

European style hotel is an oasis in Midtown. Staff is exceptionally friendly and courteous. Plenty of hotels that are larger, more well known, and much more expensive nearby. My “go to” for 25 years

We found the perfect boutique hotel for mid-town. It was a wonderful (actually oversized) room and value. The lounge was a perfect respite providing refreshment and an ideal light breakfast. Would definitely stay again.

We had a couple of issues with AC and no working mini fridge but they fixed the AC and provided us with another fridge. It’s a charming old world hotel with very friendly staff and an awesome library/breakfast/snack room on 2nd floor. It’s really central to many places and the room was quiet.

It’s difficult in NY to find a perfect location, one that’s safe with lovely rooms that won’t break the bank. Did I mention that for a nominal price you get a great continental breakfast, unlimited water, snacks and cappuccinos? I’ve stayed here many times. Part of the Library Collection where the other 3 hotels are in different parts of the city. I do not work for the hotel. I just love the fact that I’m made to feel like family whenever I come to NY.

My husband and I stayed for two nights while celebrating our Anniversary and we had a great experience from check it to check out. When we arrived around 11:30am, we were unexpectedly pleased to find that our room was already available for check in. The room was spacious with two big windows that let in a ton of light. The bed was comfortable although the pillows were WAY too soft for my liking. The hotel is on a quiet street so we didn't hear the typical NYC noise all night which we appreciated. The club room on the second floor was a nice perk...there are snacks, coffee, soda and water available all day. The only thing missing was a carafe of hot water to make tea. There were plenty of assorted tea bags available but no hot water. The doormen were all super nice and helpful...one recommended the Greek restaurant across the street so we had dinner there one night and it was excellent. We typically stay closer to Times Square and this hotel is a bit of a walk (about 20-25 minutes) from the heart of Broadway/Times Square. But it is closer to Central Park and the streets are less crowded and quieter so it was a good trade off. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and would definitely stay here again next time we are in the city!
