Amazing hotel. Exceptional staff. Nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are clean and food is excellent. Worth every penny. Close to subway and lots of attractions. Found the beds very comfortable and you need a card to access the lift so the building is very secure. Would definitely come here again.

Hotel's Favorite
I picked this hotel because it was comparatively inexpensive and its location in the heart of the Theater District. I was very impressed by how helpful the front desk was, the cleanliness of the room, the decor, and the incredible breakfast buffet. It is about 15 short blocks to Central Park for anyone looking for a pleasant run or walk. In addition, it is just a block or two from Schmackery's Cookies (yum!).

I stayed at this hotel a few days ago in august 2022. It was very clean and service was great. There are resort fees that need to be paid daily. Overall it was a good stay. The rooms are very small. But they did advertise that when I booked it. Great location in Times Square.

We stayed here for 5 nights on a family visit to NYC and found it very comfortable and convenient. The bedroom was ample with a fridge, free safe, aircon, USB charging ports etc. Bathroom was fine with a great shower. Breakfast had great variety but was busy. Go early if you can. Didn’t have any other meals there. Hotel bar was great and a good end to an evening with a Moscow Mule before bed!! Would use this hotel again and would recommend.

Very very good position, 5 mins to Times Square by walk. People at the reception and at the restaurant were very kind; they'll try to do as best as possible for any question. For example: do you need a taxy? Ask for it at the reception. Breakfast is international type with a lot of things; there are a lot of tables too and the service is very organised!

We recently spent our 4th July weekend trip in NYC. It was my wife’s third time staying here and my first.. The rooms are spotless, well maintained and bathroom clean. We were kindly upgraded to a room on the 27th floor, the views of Manhattan were great and we watched the fireworks over the Hudson from a large window in the foyer of 27th floor. As previous reviewers have stated, the breakfasts are superb, so much to choose from. The location from Times Square is excellent, you wouldn’t realise the lights and noise of TS are so close . The subway is also a short walk from the hotel.The only minor detail is the lack of tea/ coffee facilities in the room but that seem to be common in NYC hotels.

Only issue is there are 2 Riu with similar names a block apart. Be careful. Cost an extra $50 in cab ride to find the right one. Hotel is very very nice. Breakfast included was great. Room was clean. Great location.

We booked our trip through British Airways and whilst we were informed of the city tax, we were not informed of the amenities fee, which to be honest it is a lot of money for a bottle of water and wifi - when the hotel advertises free wifi on the landing page. It also gives you access to the gym, which not every single traveller wants to use on vacation so doesn’t necessarily want to pay for. I have since seen responses to reviews stating there is an amenities fee shown on the hotel website, but when booking through a travel agent it is not advertised. The rooms were clean and comfortable and had a fridge and iron. The breakfast was included in the reservation and well managed for a buffet style breakfast. We were not impressed with the service from the bar staff, we asked if we could take a glass of wine to our room and were told no, unless we bought an additional bottle of wine from the bar. Considering we had paid an amenities fee were a little shocked we couldn’t take a glass of wine to the room and the attitude put us off from returning to the bar again.…
