Detailed Reviews
I stayed at this property on my most recent trip to NYC. When I arrived I was greeted by Ulani who was very welcoming and professional. She made the check in process very quick and easy but made sure that I had everything I needed to know about the property and surrounding food options. I traveled with my wife, 2 children and our dog so we got 2 connecting rooms that were generously spacious especially for a NYC hotel. The rooms were very clean and I could tell they took care in cleaning and disinfecting the rooms so that made us feel very safe during these times. We didn’t spend much time at the hotel but whenever we exited or entered the property we were always greeted with eye contact and smiles which I believe is very important when it comes to customer service and making people feel noticed and appreciated. All in all I give this property 2 thumbs up for their service and will definitely return in the near future!

I’ve visited this location for a business trip and we were quite amazed. The staff were more than friendly, went above and beyond, and exceeded our expectations. The views, ambiance and room sizes were well worth the price. Soft bed, amazing shower and housekeeping was visible at all times.. Lysol and sanitizer was always available. Location is great.. food just steps away and we felt very safe walking the Brooklyn bridge at night.
Frank and Yolani greeted us with a genuine smile and the maintenance worker that visited our room was a huge help. I highly recommend and will be visiting this location again.

Ulani was amazing. After the long trip via transit from JFK, we were pretty wiped out and exhausted. I gave her such attitude and apologized for it in the end but she was so calm and sweet. She totally understood my frustration was not towards her but events from prior and she totally turned my whole mood around. She was patient, kind and her personality overall was super welcoming. She made our whole stay worth it. I’m not sure if she’s a manager but she definitely gave us that impression. We are Bonvoy members and she upgraded our room to the highest floor and showed us options for different views with no complaints. Overall the staff made sure whatever we needed, they were attentive. The shower was one of my favorite features of the room and at night the city view was wonderful for the price. The rooms are small and clean, not too far from the memorial and Fulton shopping on Broadway. Definitely a nice change of pace from midtown and was more quiet at night. They validate overnight parking and the property has a pool table with fun games like jenga and an outdoor patio. Super comfortable and would stay here again! Thank you Aloft staff and Ulani for making this trip great for us.

This was my very first time visiting New York City , After searching extensively I decided to book with this hotel .However the dissatisfaction with my hotel stay altered my entire trip completely . Customer service was an all time low ! My room was equivalent to the walk in freezer at the grocery store . The heater in my room was not working. I would like to think management and housekeeping would make sure those basic things were fully functional in each room . In addition to that house keeping could not be located to provide clean towels . The front desk attendants were not very welcoming nor very efficient. In hospitality the goal is to provide each guest with an amazing experience and Excellent customer service .

From the moment I checked in I remembered how much I love Aloft. The woman at the front desk was courteous and kind. She gave us two regular size bottles of water on the house in addition to the two small complimentary ones. The bed was so comfy I slept like a baby. There was one issue with the room — the outlet near the coffee maker was partially obstructed by the cabinet so I had to use the one near the sink which was less than optimal. Otherwise great stay!

This hotel has seen better days. It reminds me of a youth hostel combined with Crunch Gym. I think it’s been used one too many times as a party spot for Pace University students. Room 308 was poorly lit, smelled of stale cigarettes, had stains on the bathroom walls, mystery (vomit?) on the curtains, and just falling apart. The walls are also paper thin. Luckily, my neighbors weren’t noisy, but I could hear the constant sound of doors shutting and the cleaning staff going room to room. This place was a huge disappointment and unsanitary. Definitely do not recommend staying here. There are a ton of other hotels in the area.

This hotel has a perfect location within walking distance from the One Observatory World Trade Center, 9/11 Memorial Museum, Battery Park and a ferry going to Statue of Liberty Island.
We were staying in two queen beds room and it was surprisingly big for a hotel in Manhattan. There was a tea / coffee maker and a safety deposit box in the room.
Avery at front desk was very friendly and welcoming.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone going to Lower Manhattan.

My wife and I went for New york comedy week. Nov 7th to 14th. We stayed for a week. Check in was quick. However there was no cold tap water. Anyone who travels to NYC knows that the tap water is the best in country; but sadly we were not able to partake. There was no cold water at all. Only hot water from the Tap and Shower. When we brought this up with the front desk, they just kinda shrugged their shoulders. We also had to ask them everyday to come and make the room. we were there for 1 week and only 2x they came automatically to clean the room change the sheets. We had to speciallfy ask them to do it. Very poor customer service.
Only Positive to this place was the close location to the subway station
I would recommend to stay away from this place or just get an AirBnB.

i checked in on a humid day when it was raining in july. the hotel itself is on a small street in the financial district, which is fine. if you gotta unload a lotta stuff, it's gonna be slightly challenging, but that's a function of the location, and not the hotel itself.
the check in was super easy, especially if you are a marriott bonvoy member. the hotel is fully integrated with the app, so you can use the mobile key on the app if you forget or demagnetize the conventional room key.
the elevators are quick and prompt, even though there are only two.
my only real niggle is the AC. even set to be as cool as possible (65 degrees) it was still 80 degrees inside the room with the temperature outside at 100% humidity (raining) and in the 80s. even now at 1214 am, it is 74 degrees outside and with the AC set the same, it's still 78 degrees in the room.
the room itself is about as expected for NYC-sized places. it's a king bed in this room with a small bathroom and limited closet space and desk space, but it works. no complaints there.
would stay here again for the price.

Hello there. Parking is next door, $50 per 24-hours from the time you enter, time sensitive.
Hello and thank you for your question. There is no fee for losing your key/replacing it.

The safe is not big enough for a laptop. They will hold bags for you if you arrive too early, or want to venture out for a bit after checkout. This service is free, but it is customary to tip $1-2 per bag. My room total was $328, but they blocked off over $400 when I checked in.
