The Conrad brand is one of my favorites in the Hilton Family. This hotel does not disappoint with its spacious standard rooms. Finding a decent size room under $1,000 a night is very hard in Manhattan. I was on the 49th floor and had views of the Manhattan skyline. Next time I would love to do the Central Park View. The room was updated and clean with an amazing bathroom. The street the hotel is located on is a little dingy but once you walk a block in any direction you're in the center of everything. My only complaint would be the room service menu was pretty limited and not 24 hours.
Spent 3 nights in a city-view king suite and can't say enough GREAT things about this hotel. I was treated with impeccable service and felt secure as a solo visitor to the area. Evening turn down service was an elegant touch with chocolates and bottles of water provided bedside. The suites were spacious, clean and roomy. Onsite restaurant, Dabble provided a delicious breakfast buffet on the weekends with spot on service from the wait staff. It's definitely a 5-star property and will not hesitate to return next time I visit NYC.
This was great for what it is. The rooms were clean and modern and we felt very safe here. Centrally located to broadway, the park, and the subway. The service was excellent, but the views were nothing to get excited about. Very convenient and would stay again for the right price.
Refurbished to a high standard, the hotel has a high end, modern feel, from the quirky but classy lobby, to the large, well appointed rooms. I stayed for a couple of nights in a one bedroom king suite and I was pretty impressed. The room was large, modern, well appointed and stylishly decorated. Although bigger suites are available, the separate sitting area and bedroom were more than big enough for my needs. I only sampled the food at breakfast, but as expected, there was a large choice and all fresh, tasty and high quality. The staff were all super courteous, helpful and friendly. The property is well located for reaching Central Park, Times Square and Broadway, so is a great choice if you want to visit these areas. Highly recommended, no complaints and I will definitely be back! A good breakfast in …
Probably the nicest hotel I’ve stayed at in Midtown. So much room! Being able to have a separate living area was such a huge bonus. The suite was fantastic for two—nicely decorated, too. Service was great. We liked the bar, too, although the prices are steep. Will definitely return.
We have stayed here before, and knew that we would have to return. Its in one of the best locations and the suites are really, really nice. Customer service is really important to us, and the Conrad excels at this. We are planning our next trip!
The Conrad is in a great location just south of Central Park and at the edge of the theater district. Subways a block away! Rooms are nice, but they can use a little TLC. Keep locks on when in room as housekeeping opened 3x without knocking! Hotel has restaurant, but No bar onsite. Valet and front desk very helpful.
We had a wonderful stay at the Conrad for my birthday! We had an issue with our room at check-in, but the staff worked diligently to resolve it and we were moved to a wonderful suite. Thank you Alicia! The entire hotel staff were incredible. The housekeeping was stellar. Every time we left our suite we came back to fresh water and towels. On our first night we arrived to our room and they had a lovely birthday surprise with balloons, dessert and a card signed by the entire staff! I've never experienced such personal warmth and hospitality like that. The hotel deserves their 5 star rating. Not to mention the location- ideal for seeing sites. Thank you for making our trip memorable!
My wife and I stayed at this hotel last year and we really would have expected more from a Conrad. The room itself was obviously gorgeous, as was the bathroom. We had a Park View which is not worth the upgrade, since you mostly see building, with a park behind it. When we stayed the restaurant was still closed due to COVID, but they offered room service and waived the fee. I believe this has been reversed now though. My biggest issue was this room clearly was not well cleaned between guests. There was food crumbs all over the floor by the couch. There also were screws on the floor. We didnt use the living room until the second night, and they offered to send someone to clean the room, but we didn't want to have someone else in the room during the peek of COVID. They offered to switch our room but the only options offered were downgrades. I asked to speak to the GM and was given his voicemail. I called several times over the next several days and always got voicemail. Sometimes they also tried the assistant GM but also got voicemail. 7 calls, no return calls. I eventually called Hilton and filed a complaint. Hilton opened a case and said the hotel has 48 hours to respond. Shockingly they didn't, so Hilton gave me the points back for my stay. Ridiculous customer service! Staying there again this year since the hotel is on the Thanksgiving Parade route, so its a great choice for us and the kids. Really hoping for a better experience!…
Stayed at the Conrad Midtown for a mother daughter getaway and it didn’t disappoint! We were upgraded to a well appointed one bedroom suite which was quite large by any standards!Comfortable bed, very clean, with a lovely marble bathroom and great amenities (Aromatherapy Associates). Had both turn down service and regular daily housekeeping. Convenient location- a short walk to Rockerfeller or Central Park. The service was also great throughout the stay with bottles of water readily available. Overall an amazing experience and I will definitely look to stay again for future visits.
