We stayed at the start of July in the Archer Hotel New York as part of a bigger US holiday package, and as our first stop of the holiday, we could not have been happier with the service, the location, and the room. We chose to upgrade before arriving, to stay in one of their Empire view rooms. This placed us on the 19th floor of the hotel with a magnificent view of the Empire State Building in all its glory. Definitely worth the upgrade for that view. The room we stayed in was compact, but had everything we needed, and was beautifully decorated throughout. As a city hotel, we kind of expected there wouldn't be a lot of room, so be aware of this when booking! The front desk staff, and manager, were always on hand, and always very helpful. The manager on the day we arrived even took us up to the rooftop bar before it opened for a private viewing of the amazing view of the Empire State Building and to take photos. We were here celebrating our anniversary, and son's birthday, which the hotel made sure was even more special with gifts of sparkling wine, sweets, and even an Archer cap for our boy! Unexpected, and really appreciated. The only downside we felt was that we had been told they had a complimentary continental breakfast available each morning, and were disappointed to find that it was only coffee, tea, and iced water, after being told there would be pastries available alongside these drinks. Thankfully, this didn't take the shine off an otherwise excellent stay, and we would have no problem returning when we're next in NYC

I was extremely satisfied with our room. It was clean, spacious for New York, and had the best view of the Empire State Building. The staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to welcome me and my son. They came up to our room and gave my son some yummy treats to welcome him on his first trip to NYC. It was a wonderful gesture. I also appreciate the wonderful maid service. The room looked great every afternoon when we arrived after a long day. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

My boyfriend and I came here to spend his birthday. He and myself have stayed at plenty of hotels and this one by far had some of the most amazing and attentive customer service I’ve ever experienced. So nice and sweet and willing to help. The rooftop service was amazing as well. This is the place to come!! Seriously, you will be taken care of!!

The Archer is fantastic! Well situated in Midtown. Their attention to detail from check-in to check out was on point. We came to NYC for our anniversary and were so happy. From the caramels and local chocolates in the room to the quick check out and booking of our cab this hotel does customer service well. We will definitely recommend to friends visiting NYC. The rooftop bar, the Spyglass provides a great view.

Stayed her for 3 nights for a work trip in July. Rooms are small but very nice! Very comfortable bed. Nice, big bathroom / shower. Restaurant in lobby was great for breakfast. The rooftop bar is amazing and must be seen, especially at night. Would definitely stay here again on my next trip to NYC. Would not recommend for a family stay but definitely recommend for a business or couples trip.

The location is very comvenient. The rooms on the smallish side. The beds comfortable. As Europeans, we are accustomed to breakfast included. Even at expensive hotels. One negative was the staff, especially during the night shift. They seemed not to be able to handle the simplest request.

We loved the Archer Hotel! The Archer staff was always so friendly. Whether we were leaving early in the morning or coming in late at night, we were always greeted in such a kind manner. Our room was very clean and maintained perfectly each day. Every detail in this hotel is perfection! We appreciate all of the staff’s hard work in making sure our stay was incredible, and it did not go unnoticed. We will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting to NYC!

Outstanding service and a great location. Far enough from Times Square to avoid the crowds yet close enough to walk. They provided some cute little cake bites as a welcome gift for my daughter's 18th birthday. This is my second stay here and I will come back again soon.
