I’ve stayed at this hotel a number of times when traveling for medical appointments. As A disabled person, I greatly appreciate hotels that provide accessible accommodation, and this hotel provides not only larger rooms to accommodate wheelchairs, and grab bars but also a choice of roll in shower or tub to transfer to with Seat. There is always someone to help with your bags, refrigerators in the room for Medical needs, and a comfy bed. You can’t beat the location, there is a pub attached to the hotel, as well as a café in the lobby for breakfast and lunch With ample seating. Front desk very attentive to your needs.

I loved staying here for many reasons. The spaciousness of the rooms is a real treat after staying in so many cramped New York City hotel rooms over the years.

But I took the time to write a review specifically to praise the Cafe staff. We were here on Christmas Day and they were nothing but smiles and cheerful. Exceptionally kind and helpful people. Carlos, Larry, Terry, Ten and Tenzin are real treasures! I hope they are valued as such by their supervisor and the company!

The two housekeepers were also incredibly nice to us. We came back from Egypt with the flu and they were concerned and helpful with changing towels and making sure we had what we needed in our room and though we declined full-service because we were feeling so poorly.

I would definitely consider coming back here. It’s not my favorite New York neighborhood. it lacks the old world charm of places like East Village. But it is extremely convenient to going both uptown and downtown.
Do you like hustle bustle in big chain stores then you will probably enjoy this area.

The name says Chelsea but it is really more Midtown.

I truly enjoyed the night I spent here. The staff were all friendly and helpful. I checked in with a cousin and the front desk person was able to put us in rooms that were next to each other. The room itself was clean and quiet. You'd never believe you're in the middle of Manhattan. The bed was large and so comfortable and the bathroom had a nice sized walk-in shower. The breakfast room serves Starbucks coffee and food which they will bring to your table. If you're in the mood for something more robust, you've got NYC outside the door. Go enjoy!

This hotel is very well priced for the area it is in. While the room we had was small (essentially a bed and bathroom without much additional space), it perfectly served our needs as we were out most of the time. Check-in was extremely easy, as they have the app check-in so the key cards were waiting for us upon arrival.

We were on the eighth floor facing the street. We were certainly expecting there to be noise from the street, but what actually bothered us the most was the noise that traveled inside the hotel. Doors opening and closing echoed through the halls, voices could be heard through the walls. It was a pretty bad night sleep, and I would say one of the worst I have experienced in a hotel.

This hotel feels fairly new with a basic modern and contemporary decor. The gentleman at check-in was welcoming as well as other front desk staff any time we returned to the property. We saw the same housekeeper each day and she was friendly as well.

Our room was on the 19th floor. Nice city view. The room size was slightly smaller than the average room, but this is the case with most NYC budget brands. Our bathroom was a comfortable size with a shower that included plenty of shelf space. The decor was soothing with two light options. The room had an adequate amount of storage, modern TV, refrigerator, and safe. The windows were floor to ceiling, which allowed a lot of light.

At the time of this writing, the cafe was closed, however, guests were allowed to use the seating area which included counter space, tables, and booths. If you’re looking to exercise like me, the fitness center is small and located in the basement. They have mirrors throughout to make the room appear larger. There’s a mix of treadmills, elliptical, and one bike. You’ll also find two mats, a roller (needs to be replaced), and free weights. They have towels and water available.

I have to say the WiFi was great throughout, even in the fitness center. When I return to NYC at some point, I’ll definitely stay here again.

We chose this Courtyard Marriott in Chelsea for location. A little surprised how small the lobby was as well as the rooms. The room was clean. The shower was great, but one tiny sink with a horrible facuet that was way too short to wash your hands. The best part of the hotel was coffee in the morning downstairs with Larry, Terry, Carlos and Terzin. They had our coffee ready with a smile! I will say that even though I think this location needs updates, the staff was good at providing extra towels and anything else that we needed. The little bar/grill next door was convenient as this location does not have a restaurant. The front outdoor seating was good but for the money, I would definitely stay someplace else next time.

I stayed here for two nights in a room with two double beds on the 19th floor. With many hotels in Midtown Manhattan to choose from, I was influenced by the excellent reviews, but my experience was just OK.
Pros: The hotel is in a convenient, central location. The staff was pleasant. There was minimal street noise and our section of the hallway was very quiet. Cons: Our bathroom was very disappointing, with no counter space, terrible lighting, and no fan. One of my pillows had hard lumps in the middle. The trash situation is strange, with the receptacle in the bathroom labeled for recyclables only, and a container for trash in the room under the desk - this might be an effort by Marriott to encourage recycling, but it seems foolish not to have a place in the bathroom to throw away trash. The only ice machine available for guests is in the basement. There is no lobby, though there is assorted seating available in the "cafe" area, which only sells food at breakfast.
Overall, this is a no-frills hotel with a slightly dated feel. While the room was clean, there was little about it or the hotel that was inviting or made me want to spend any time there.

We stayed 4 nights with 2 young children and enjoyed our time here. We had the Family Suite, and like someone mentioned before, it did wrap behind the elevators. But honestly, it didn't hear any elevator noise, although I do admit that we use a white noise machine for the children. We were also up on the 18th floor. I felt that the rooms don't get a ton of natural light and could use some updating, but I thought this was a great deal for what we paid. We liked having a living room to rest after putting the kids to bed earlier. The bathroom layout is a little strange with the second since being barely accessible because of the narrow space. But otherwise, this was a great place to sleep and rest. The location is also very convenient. We took the train in from Philadelphia and then took the LIRR to the airport when leaving, so this was easily walkable with luggage to Penn Station. And then there are tons of food options and grocery stores within a few blocks. I also utilized the laundry room in the basement. The front desk is able to make change for the machines.

We used to try different superchain hotels. First time we will stay in the same hotel given all the cheaper, newer hotels. We love the location because it is less than a mile to Hudson Yards where my husband’s office is located. Hudson Yards is where you begin walking the High Line going to Chelsea Market. Penn station and MSG are walkable. It is in front of NYPD so it is very safe. NYPD cars are parked almost the whole block so you don’t encounter people that will make you uneasy walking to the subway unlike hotels near the Time Square and Port Authority terminal. You don’t see a lot of people in the lobby because you can only enter the building with your keycard. The turnstile in the morning is in front of the receptionist and there is a valet to stop any uninvited visitor before reaching the elevator. Piggyback is across, Nordstrom Rack is in the corner as well as Paris Baguette. Walkable to Zara, other shopping options. Best of all, our room was cleaned everyday very thoroughly. We asked for room facing the back so it was quiet.

We are a family of four and stayed in the family suite with two double beds on the top floor. The hotel is super close to Penn Station and since we arrived into and departed by train at Penn Station it just made the walk to and from the hotel with our bags very convenient. The room was perfect for our family with the sitting area with sink, fridge and microwave. The staff was friendly and helpful, and even the cleaning staff was so so nice. The hotel has a nice big sitting area on the ground floor where you can sit and eat take out food or just gather with family and friends to lounge and talk. Then in the basement there is a gym and laundry room. Subways uptown and downtown were nearby as well so getting around the city was pretty easy. Overall a nice stay in a very centrally located location to see the city.
