Lovely to stay in the West Village away from the hype of New York. Great history and a lovely place to be. The hotel was okay. The rooms were small but they were still very comfortable. The toilet and shower were more than adequate. Breakfast...More
There aren’t many options in the NYU area. The Marlton is convenient and historic. Prices can vary significantly. Our room had two twin beds, two tiny nightstands, a stool, and room for nothing else! Truly the smallest room I’ve ever stayed in, at one of...More
My wife and I stayed at the Marlton Hotel for 5 nights last week and loved it. The location of the hotel is around fresh and happening restaurants, Jazz bars and shopping. Or, if you want to go further downtown or uptown, the MTA is...More
I stayed at this small hotel in a tiny twin room with my daughter, who was attending NYU's admitted student day. The room was barely big enough for two beds, and had no view at all, but this did not detract from our stay. The...More
Perfect location near Washington square park. Loved the decor of the bathroom as well as the overall vibe of the hotel. Unfortunately, we stayed in a room right off of the doorway to the stairs/elevator. Because of the thin door, we could hear very clearly...More
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to get a feel for this diverse and energetic neighborhood. You’ll find NYU students, street performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.
Stroll the streets to discover a mix of majestic town homes and hidden bars and restaurants that give this neighborhood an old-school residential feel. When the sun goes down, check out one of the famous jazz or comedy clubs that still packs them in every night.

Not sure but rooms in Manhattan are all generally small.
You will curse yourself for having a car in Manhattan...! If you're renting, return it prior to check-in. If it's your own, consider a Park 'n Ride outside city.
