This hotel was perfect for a busy stay in NYC. Located in Greenwich village it was walking distance to everything I needed. Safe & very clean. The staff we lovely. My room was quite small but I didn't spend a lot of time in it....More
I stay at The Marlton quite regularly when in NYC. It's my go to for a number of reasons: fabulous location/neighborhood, classic old school vibe, cozy well appointed rooms (can be smallish, but that's par for the course in NY), cute continental breakfast, overall quiet...More
A friend brought me to the restaurant at this hotel to have an afternoon quick bite to eat and what a great choice. I loved the interior and the food was good. We tried the appetizer with different spreads including sweat potato and then had...More
Great small hotel with small but well appointed rooms, quiet HVAC, nice bedding, and well-finished bathrooms. But the best part of the Marlton is the lobby for hanging out by the fire with either a cocktail or coffee, the bar, or the onsite restaurant.
We weren’t guests of the hotel but a friend recommended the bar in the lobby as a good date spot. We were looking for a quiet place to enjoy a few drinks and this was the perfect place. The atmosphere was very inviting and cozy,...More
Commonly known as “the Village” to New Yorkers, it was here in Greenwich Village that both 1960’s counter culture and the LGBT movement were born. Famous for its bohemian past, head to Washington Square Park to get a feel for this diverse and energetic neighborhood. You’ll find NYU students, street performers, skateboarders, kids frolicking in the fountain, and locals relaxing and playing chess.
Stroll the streets to discover a mix of majestic town homes and hidden bars and restaurants that give this neighborhood an old-school residential feel. When the sun goes down, check out one of the famous jazz or comedy clubs that still packs them in every night.

There is a safe in the room but I don't remember if it is large enough for a laptop. I did keep an iPad in it. The front desk would probably arrange to store your items while you are out if they won't fit in the room... More

Not sure but rooms in Manhattan are all generally small.
You will curse yourself for having a car in Manhattan...! If you're renting, return it prior to check-in. If it's your own, consider a Park 'n Ride outside city.
