My friend and I stayed here for a week in a twin room with 2 double beds. The hotel was in a great location, our nearest subway stop, Rector Street, was just outside the hotel. Other subway stops were in walking distance at Wall and Fulton street. We have stayed in this area many times so knew our way around. Our room was spacious with a nice sized bathroom and plenty of towels to share. It had a tv with plenty of channels, tea/coffee making facilities, a safe and fridge. The air conditioning was amazing and often blew too cold so we had to turn it off. We didn't have it on at night as the units can be noisy but it wasn't too hot and we turned it on first thing in the morning. The cons of the room were the SERIOUS lack of storage. There was one draw to share in the bedside cabinet and whilst there was a wardrobe, there was only 5 hangers to share. The shower could have been a bit more powerful. Lighting is NEVER good in New York hotel rooms. This one really could have done with a ceiling light. The room was cleaned every few days to a high standard. However, I had two large bites, one on my arm and one on my leg, I am convinced these were from the bed even though it appeared clean. I never found the front desk staff overly friendly and on our first morning we had woken up early due to jetlag. I called the front desk to request some cups for hot drinks as we only had cold water cups, the cups were never delivered! Our room included a continental breakfast which was served in the 'restaurant' downstairs. There were only a few cereals to choose from but an assortment of bagels with cream cheese. Some pre-packed pastries and cereal bars, yoghurts and juice but they weren't in proper drinking cartons. It was pretty basic but ok for our first morning. Over the weekend, workmen appeared and were obviously re-decorating the 'restaurant' so breakfast was moved to the lounge at the front of the hotel. There were more pre-packed cereal options available but far less hot food options available. I am unsure whether we were warned about the works prior to booking but it was quite disruptive coming in and out of the hotel lobby.

Great location, in walking distance to 9/11, Brooklyn Bridge. Subway on the street however the station closest to the hotel does not run overnight so beware if you have a late flight. Room was small, but that's to be expected in NYC. Room wasn't serviced until after 4pm which was poor. Dirty towels weren't replaced. Tea and coffee weren't replaced (only decaff in room and only 1 cup!). Breakfast was poor; frozen bagels to toast, cereal from a dispenser, some microwaveable breakfast sandwich, apples and oranges. Didn't bother with it for 2 of the 4 mornings. Wi-fi was very good and you could use the computers and printers in the reception area. Bed was huge and the room was quiet.

We had a great experience here. Enjoyed the pull out couch. I was very impressed by the hotel’s customer service. Our AC was out the first night/ day. Tiffany at the front desk went above and beyond to take care of our family. I was very impressed. Breakfast is small but adequate. The location was ideal. I felt safe walking at night around the hotel. Easy access to subways. Would definitely stay here with my family again.

Clean smart up to date rooms. Perfect location for World Trade Centre and 9/11 memorial. Staff were friendly, helpful and couldn't do enough. Breakfast was buffet and had loads of variety. Request high up room as they are so lovely and quiet.

The hotel was small in size as described in Priceline, the location was right in the middle of the city. It was a ok place to stay, the hotel was clean. Nota friendly staff typical NYC behavior. I will not recommend this place to stay again.

We enjoyed our stay overall - the room was spacious, clean, comfy bed, good pillows, mini fridge. Would have appreciated some more closet space and hangers though. The bathroom was also clean and more spacious than anticipated. Good location with good subway connections anywhere around the city and also to JFK airport. Breakfast needs an upgrade - those frozen sandwiches were the worst. Replacing them with some sliced ham and cheese would do wonders. I saw a lot of people trying them, but no one finished those things in the end, leaving them on the plate. Other than these, you could get bagels and bread, cream cheese, jelly or jam, cereal and milk, fruit yogurt (some plain yogurt would have been nice, also), juices. Coffee was fine.

This was a great place to stay when visiting New York. The subway stops are right outside the hotel, there are restaurants close by within walking distance, and a few convenience stores as well. The beds are super comfortable and our room was very clean. Having breakfast service included with our stay was handy, and we were treated to a few hot items such as quiches and scones. Our room had the standard amenities: coffee maker, a safe, hair dryer, etc. It was nicely appointed. Our front desk person, Crisledy, was a treasure. So helpful with maps and directions. The only real negative was the elevators were terribly slow and there was no dresser in the room to put any clothes away - and we were only able to get one suitcase stand. Overall it was a really good hotel and of course close to the WTC and the Staten Island ferry.

This location is walking distance, literally 2 blocks from several landmarks that tourists want to visit, i.e. Battery Park (for ferry to Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island), World Trade Center, and Wall Street. Also, 2 subway stations very near. Staff extremely helpful. Rooms small due to high-rise building, but so clean and neat with al amenities needed. Will recommend and definitely stay again.

COVID is a good excuse to avoid to pay a daily housekeeper! If you want to have your room cleaned up, you must wait the third day of your stay. That’s incredibly unfair and unprofessional, but what one can do in a country where there is no control on the quality of what the hotels offer ? In NY there is always a huge amount of tourists and people who travels for business like me, so hotels will always find customers, no matter how bad they are. Breakfast: terrible! Only American coffee, no croissants, no artisan bread. Rooms are dirties and cold. Heating is old and noisy but if you don’t want to catch a cold or get sick, you must sleep - or try to sleep - with a noisy heating turned on. A lot of people take the lifts without wearing any mask. Even if it’s no longer compulsory, it should be the logic and the sense of responsibility to impose people to wear a mask when they take the lifts at least. The Hotel staff doesn’t say anything.
