MADE is exceptional on all fronts. The rooms are comfortable and very stylish, the lobby is always buzzing and fueled by the excellent coffee shop it features (including one complimentary coffee per day when you stay there), and the staff is absolutely top notch.

I was traveling for business and decided to extend my stay by one night. Because I used my company card for the business days and a personal card for the extra night, the billing situation had potential to become a bit convoluted. But Lucas and his staff couldn't have made it any easier. They are professional, friendly, and efficient on all levels.

Also MADE's location is superb—close to Flatiron and NoMad and also a very short walk to the NQRW, 1 and 2, F and M, 4 and 6, and PATH train lines. It's also a 10-minute walk to Moynihan if you're taking Amtrak.

Can't say enough positives about this place. I know there are a lot of options, but MADE is 100% my place to stay in the City moving forward.

Great location and very friendly staff. The rooms are perfectly fine by New York standards and despite the central location it is relatively quiet. The only downside is that the rooftop bar has no charm whatsoever and the cocktails are really abysmally bad.

We stayed at Made hotel for my 40th Birthday Celebrations. We chose Made hotel as its on the Mr & Mrs Smith website and had good reviews. Also because it was close to most of the attractions, without feeling like you were in the thick of it. We booked direct with the hotel.

The hotel was lovely, we stayed in a deluxe room for 5 nights. The room was clean and tidy and the bathroom was nice. We knew it wasn't going to be the biggest room. Due to the lack of storage we lived out of our suitcases for the week, which we expected. In this room type, that was ok. anything smaller, we'd have struggled. Lighting is an issue, especially for my wife who struggled to do hair and makeup.

The staff were friendly and were on hand to give any advice and recommendations. We didn't use the bar or restaurant but they did seem busy. The Paper coffee shop is located in the hotel on the ground floor. The daily "complimentary" filter coffee and hot chocolate was nice. We asked the hotel staff to make us hot drinks out of hours and it was never to much trouble. A curation fee of $30 a day for things like the coffee, wifi, local access to a gym, and happy wine hour at the bar is built in to the price of the room.

I will say I was disappointed the hotel chose not to do anything for my birthday. It was noted by my wife when booking that we were celebrating a milestone birthday. I know its not a given that hotels do this, but a hotel of this standard and cost, its unusual.

Location wise, There's so many restaurants and bars close by, access to the metro is within minutes and most attractions are walking distance.

Overall, I recommend this hotel.

Despite the room being quite small, it was so attractively appointed and well-organized that it perfectly suited our needs without feeling cramped. The pre-arrival check-in process was new to me; however, the clear directions made it easy. My son and I arrived at different times. When I arrived, Lucas warmly welcomed me, providing helpful information that made me feel at home. My son arrived later that afternoon and had a similar experience of warm hospitality.

Throughout our stay, other staff members were consistently friendly and helpful. One evening, we visited the Good Behavior Rooftop Bar and had a lively conversation with the bartender (Miles, I believe). On Thursday evening, while debating how to get to a restaurant, the man serving at the front bar (whose name I didn’t catch) suggested we take the subway, which was much more affordable. He gave detailed directions, including the station, train, and safety tips, which were greatly appreciated.

I rarely sleep well away from home, but the bed in room 1502 was so comfortable I slept as if I were in my own bed. The entire facility was impeccably clean, and the linens were fresh, crisp, and luxurious. The wood and stone décor added to the feeling of staying in a luxury hotel. On Friday morning, we enjoyed the complimentary coffee, and the cappuccino and croissants were excellent. The lobby’s vibe was warm and inviting, filled with people enjoying themselves without the distraction of loud, frenetic music, which I appreciated.

I will recommend the MADE Hotel to family, friends, and colleagues. Thank you to your whole team for making our brief NYC visit so enjoyable. I’ll definitely be back! Feel free to contact me with any questions about this review or my stay.

This hotel, right in NoMad, is a clear 10.
Modern interior design,
rooms are comfortable with a walk in shower- we had a deluxe room and woke up every morning with a beautiful view from floor 13.
The coffee / breakfast area/ lounge is great - breakfast and coffee were exceptionally yummi- one of the best cappuccinos we had in NY.
The Spanish Tapas bar downstairs offers authentic Spanish food in a relaxed athmosphere.

BUT:Above all the entire service team of the hotel was on 5 star level. We were keen to use the complimentsry bicycles but as it was almost November and supposed to be rainy and colder- which it wasn‘t actually- there were 2 bikes left only- and we were 3- just a short mail to the team asking for an additional 3rd bike and the team arranged for that third bike to be available - how great that was- actually we used them every day - thanks to the Made guys at reception for that. I should mention the bicycles were in great condition and easy to ride.

Final words to the housekeeping: our rooms were serviced every morning and clean and ready by 11am- something we found awesome too.
All in All- a place we will return to.

Before I even got into the hotel, looking at the photos online enticed me to want to stay here. Everything looked so cozy and modern.

Our check-in was at 3 PM on a Saturday and as soon as I walked up to the hotel, the outside was beautiful it looked so modernized and clean landscaping was up to par aesthetically.

When we walked in the building, it was just so inviting & check-in was so easy. Everybody was so friendly and super helpful. It took us less than five minutes to check into the room and get the Wi-Fi password right there before we even got upstairs. They also let us know they have an all you can drink wine happy hour from 5-6 (are you kidding ? What a deal!!)

. We finally got to our room, open the door and was amazed with what we saw. It is the most cozy vibe that you will ever have at a hotel. There was a view of the city right outside of our window. The room looked like something that you would just see on Pinterest, that you wish you could make a room of your Home into.
This was the most comfortable hotel bed that I’ve ever stayed in the sheets were soft. The pillows were fluffy. It was just so perfectly set up. The bathroom had a rainfall shower head, and I looked at it and immediately said I need to take a shower as soon as I get back from my event. When we got back I laid down and didn’t want to leave. I wanted to stay there forever that’s how much comfort that this hotel provides you with.

The day of checkout was super easy. Just give the key to the front desk as normal. They have the coffee bar with all different kinds of drinks and breakfast pastries. There is seating areas where you can work if you work remotely and there are outlets conveniently placed for all of your charging needs. there’s also a bar where you can get breakfast drinks, wine, anything you want!

Overall 10 out of 10 one of the best hotels that I’ve ever stayed in and would 150% go back it’s perfect for people that are traveling to the city and it isn’t affordable as well

My wife and I and our 13 year old son stayed at Made for 7 nights and it was perfect. The staff was friendly and accommodating, the free coffee and hot chocolate in the coffee shop was a nice touch...really liked the modern feel and the efficient use of space in the room...we knew it'd be tight quarters but no complaints. The location is great for exploring Manhattan...we were able to walk nearly everywhere we wanted to go and grabbed the subway for a couple farther out spots, like Yankee Stadium. I read a ton of reviews before we booked and we didn't encounter anything negative. We requested a mini fridge prior to arrival and it was provided...instead of an iron, we were given a clothes steamer and that worked out perfectly. We're planning to return there in a few months when we're back in NYC again. Highly recommended.

Room comfort lacking. The first night my water glass shattered on the floor because the nightstand was a round, wood drum and not a table. Try fitting the hotel phone with your phone charger, two phones, a pair of glasses, and a glass of water and something is going to fall.

We had a room with 2 double beds. No drawers or shelves so socks, underwear, computer and makeup sat in my suitcase. No luggage jack so the suitcase stayed on the floor. No mini fridge so the iced tea and cheese I bought also sat in a bag on the floor. Yes, there is a wooden desk that flips up and down but it’s not a permanent horizontal surface since we have to keep luggage accessible on the floor to reach for makeup, underwear, socks, etc.

No storage in the bathroom. The towels took up all the space on the shelf under the sink. The shower glass is too narrow so while washing your hair, the water will drip down your elbows and out of the shower onto the floor. Expect to use extra towels to wipe up the water which will splash across all of the bathroom floor.

And what really made me crazy was how dark the room is on the 3rd floor. I had a standard room and the view from the room was another building. My floor to ceiling windows looked into someone else’s living space. So, I kept the privacy curtain drawn. The lights in the room were spot lights and were not great for atmospheric brightness at night. Lighting in the bathroom was horrible. Try doing your makeup with one LED stripe of light shining on just the right side of your face.

No workout room on premises. They have a partnership with Blink fitness and will reimburse you the $15 for a day pass if you go the 8 minute walk to the gym to use it. Not convenient and Blink is not the kind of gym you get excited about on a vacation. It looks like a 24 Hour Fitness that you’d pay $25/month when you grudgingly go to the gym back at home.

Yes, you get “free” coffee, tea and hot chocolate. But really you’re paying for this in your $25/day charge. And expect the small sized cup. They’re not supposed to give you the bigger cup even if they are giving you a nice loose leaf tea bag that could benefit from 2 oz more hot water.

If the bed frame was taller I could have slid my suitcase under it and had more floor space to move about the room. If I had more shelves or a couple drawers, I could have unpacked and stowed my luggage out of the way.

Great location but I’d recommend staying at a different hotel for this price in the neighborhood.

I stayed at the Made Hotel for four nights and have never felt so at home in a hotel. The staff is friendly and warm, honored my request for a quiet room, the food is delicious and fairly priced as well so at the hotel multiple times. The location is in walking distance to a lot of top activities or a train ride away (two subway stops are nearby) from everything a tourist needs and the beds are comfy. The shower…amazing too. My room was very clean as well.

This was my first solo trip, so I was nervous. However, as I looked around, there were other solo travelers in the hotel and I understand why. The hotel is big enough to provide privacy and small enough for each visitor be known by the staff. This provided a feeling of safety that I wanted for my solo NYC adventure.

When I return to the city—solo or with a travel companion—this is the only hotel I plan to stay in. I’d researched several before selecting Made and was extremely pleased with this decision after seeing other hotels while out exploring because Made has a neighborhood feel although in the heart of everything.

I’ve traveled the world and can say with confidence that this was an exceptional experience! To the staff, thank you for an awesome experience!

My daughter and I stayed at Made Hotel for her first trip to New York City. We could not have chosen a better place to stay. The hotel is a beautiful balance of luxury and comfort, like casual elegance or the perfect fit between form and function. It is modern and clean with unique and artistic details. Every inch from lobby to cafe to lounge is inviting and makes one want to settle in and stay awhile. Our room was spotless and spacious with a grounded feel to it from the tile work, wood floors, and textiles. We appreciated the in room cozy sitting space with view, desk to keep up on work back home, and large bathroom with walk-in shower. We are both still talking about the lovely scented soaps and lotions. In the evenings we took advantage of the roof top lounge with city views and in the mornings we enjoyed coffee and pastries in the lobby cafe. The hotel is also centrally located for everything we wanted to see and do which was everything one could think of on a first trip to New York (Empire State Building, Central Park, museums, Top of the Rock, Times Square, SoHo, Little Italy, Broadway, restaurants and cafes, and much more). That said, because of the feel of the hotel and surrounding area we never felt like tourists. It helped that we could walk almost anywhere or take a quick Uber or cab from the hotel. After the long days out it was so comforting to return to the hotel where the staff was always warm and welcoming and made themselves available to answer questions, offer excellent suggestions, and just make us feel so cared for and taken care of. Thank you and we look forward to our next stay.
