Great hotel. We were in NYC for the National Stationery Show at the Javits Center. Bitan was the guest services agent and a super great guy. Check in was pleasant with a room upgrade and a teddy bear for my 4 month old.

Dear meeyee121, We are so happy we could be your first hotel stay in New York City. You are now part of the Lotte New York Palace family. Please come back again soon! Regards, Becky Hubbard
This is the iconic New York that so many visitors imagine before they visit—spectacular skyscrapers like the Chrysler Building and Empire State Building, iconic public buildings like Grand Central Terminal and the New York Public Library, and the non-stop hustle and bustle of the city streets. Fifth Avenue is a shopper's heaven where you can find every kind of store imaginable, with fashion brands ranging from the
affordable to the ultra-fancy. Visit the Rockefeller Center to experience towering Art Deco grandeur, and foodies will love the busy restaurants that stay open late in Koreatown. After dark, Midtown calms down a bit, but at any time of day or night it still feels 100% New York.

There are a number of add-in taxes - Plus 14.75% hotel tax and $3.50 per night occupancy taxes. I would not stay at this hotel for Christmas. The service has deteriorated greatly, the mechanics have not been well maintained. In my last stay the toilet kept backing up, the shower would not drain properly and despite the efforts of engineering the air conditioning was very bad. Add to that a horrible room service experience and no hotel restaurant for dinner
